1993 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4.0l 5 Speed All New Body Parts on 2040-cars
Plymouth, Michigan, United States
1993 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4.0L 4X4 5 speed. Green out Tan & Green in Tan top. Bellow is a description of the Jeep and a list of all the new parts to restore it. There is a few bad rust spots but some parts have no rust like the hood, both doors, tail gate. All other items with any rust I have the new parts for.
The Jeep I bought off my friend with the intentions of restoring it for my daughters first car. I have only had it for 3 months but he had it since around 1995 or so. I do not have the time to work on it with work hours so have decided to get rid of it and get one already done. He took unbelievably good mechanical care of it. Any time it needed anything at all it was fixed. It has had a lot of repairs done through out the years and everything on the Jeep works very well. I would not hesitate to drive this jeep anywhere as I do now myself. Starts right up every time and 4x4 works very well. The jeep does not leak anything at all and again needs nothing. Top has no tears its at all in very nice shape Best Top Rain cover from Best Top for the Cab Body has some rust and a crack in the windshield Tires are all in good shape with plenty of tread New Parts Some bought on ebay some local all bought with in the last 3 weeks. 11-14 JEEP WRANGLER NEW RAISED DECAL EMBLEM NAMEPLATE BLAck MOPAR OEM NEW OEM FACTORY 4.0 L TRUNK DECK LID BACK REAR SIDE LOGO SAHARA older Edition Decals / Stickers Wrangler CJ YJ Brand New Jeep Wrangler OEM Windshield fits 1992-1995 1987-2006 Jeep Wrangler Black Lower Door Hinges Hinge WINDSHIELD HINGE 76-95 JEEP CJ & WRANGLER 11025.01 Rugged Ridge Mirror Relocation Kit Jeep Wrangler 1987-2006 Jeep Wrangler Black Steel Door Hinges 4 Pc Set Both front fenders Both complete side panels Rear corners Front windshield frame Front grille not new but no rust from out of state |

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Diesel and SRT climb onto stage
Mon, 14 Jan 2013This is indeed a case of not knowing how much we wanted something until it arrived. We've been big fans of the Jeep Grand Cherokee ever since the new model arrived a couple of years ago, and while the update you see here might seem just a slight refresh, it's actually much more than that.
For starters, the 2014 Grand Cherokee marks the return of a diesel model here in the States, with Chrysler's new 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 under the hood, churning out 240 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Of course, all of the Grand Cherokee's usual off-road goodies are on hand, with moderate tweaks to make it an even more capable vehicle when the going gets rough. Both the gasoline-fed 3.6-liter V6 and 5.7-liter V8 get the new eight-speed auto, as well.
The high-performance Grand Cherokee SRT also trudges on into the new model year, with very subtle tweaks found underneath the aggressive, slightly redesigned sheetmetal. The 6.4-liter Hemi V8 also gets eight-speed gearing, which Chrysler says will improve not only 0-60 times, but mid-range performance as well. Bring it on, we say.
Marchionne uses racial epithet to describe what must power future Alfa Romeo models
Wed, 16 Jan 2013Sergio Marchionne and his Fiat empire have a lot riding on the US return of the Alfa Romeo brand. The endeavor has been in progress for what feels like a lifetime - certainly for as long as Fiat has had the Chrysler brand under its Italian wing.
It's not surprising that Fiat CEO Marchionne needs a perfect first Alfa to mark a return to America. And here's where things get dicey. Nobody would argue with Marchionne's insistence that Alfa Romeo's be powered by Italian engines - as Marchionne himself is quoted to have said at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show, "There are some things that are well done in Italy."
If not what he said, then, it's how he said it that has eyebrows raised. "I cannot come up with a schlock product, I just won't. I won't put an American engine into that car. With all due respect to my American friends, it needs to be a wop engine." Wait, what's that?
Jeep Twitter account hacked, bad language, poor grammar and some hilarity ensue
Tue, 19 Feb 2013Just a day after Burger King's Twitter account was compromised by "unauthorized users," Jeep's social media feed has been similarly hacked. Both instances of digital incursion share some similarities - the BK hackers changed the company's logo for McDonald's familiar golden arches, saying a sale had occurred, while the Jeep miscreants have replaced Jeep's branding with that of General Motors property Cadillac.
The resulting tweets from the damaged Jeep account have been a pretty brutal, to put it bluntly. Most of the content coming from the hacked account is unpublishable here, using language that is peppered with racial epithets, and poorly worded "shout outs."
In addition to the defamatory tweets themselves, the hackers have significantly altered the layout of the page. Jeep's header image now features a picture of the Cadillac ATS to go along with the Wreath and Crest, some language calling out that car as winning the 2013 North American Car of the Year award, and this gem: "The official Twitter handle for the Jeep(R) - Just Empty Every Pocket, Sold To Cadillac =[" Also, perhaps in an ode to yesterday's Burger King heist, the background image for the page now features a McDonald's-themed donk. The devil's in the details, we guess.
