I have a 1991 Jeep Wrangler for sale. It has a 4" Skyjacker suspension lift with 1" shackles and a 3" body lift. The fenders have been trimmed and has TJ flares with working lights. Has SYE kit installed. Has 4.0 6 cylinder and 5 speed transmission. Running 4.56 gears in both axles with a lock right locker in the rear. Currently it has 35" Mickey Thompson Claws on it, but they are getting pretty worn. It currently has an old warn upright winch, model 5687. This winch is a predecessor to the 8274, but it only powers in and free spools out. In the pictures the cable is off of the winch, but I have the cable stored in the garage. Also has a heavy duty rear bumper with swing out tire carrier. It has rocker guards. The odometer has about 156,000 miles on it. The motor in it now was put in it at around 125,000 and came from a '95 Cherokee which had about 55,000 on it. The transmission was completely rebuilt and installed with a new clutch and has less than 30,000 miles on it. The front and rear axles were rebuilt and gone through when re-geared and have less than 30,000 miles on them. Has an AEM cold air intake. Has a cat back exhaust system.

It has a Tuffy security storage trunk behind the back seat. It has the newer style family sport bar installed with the three point seat belts in the rear. Has a cd player in the dash and an amp mounted under the drivers seat. It has grey soft top, bikini top, wind jammer, and back deck cover with it as well. The soft top is not in the best of shape, but works. The driver side window zipper is messed up and won't zip. The driver side seat has the normal wear and tear in the seams. The console lid has always been in two pieces but still works. It runs and drives good. It is located in Hayden, AL. I don't have to sale it. Would trade for a Yamaha Rhino or side by side. Asking $7500 obo as it sits. Can email more pictures. Mileage may vary slightly from what is listed.

I have owned this Jeep for over 13 years and built it to the way it sits currently. When I bought it it had the body lift and 31" tires on it. It has been used as a pleasure use vehicle mostly and has not been ridden rough or abused. The body is straight with normal wear. I have clean title in hand.

Sunday Drive: A tale of old favorites and upcoming challengers

Sun, Oct 8 2017

Sedans and crossovers dominated the attention of our readers last week, led by the completely redesigned 2018 Honda Accord. It's the Japanese automaker's flagship, and people are seriously interested in finding out how good the latest Accord is. So interested, in fact, that no other single story came close to the brand-new Accord in Autoblog reader interest. Moving down the list we find the equally new 2018 Buick Enclave. The three-row crossover has a lot to offer a family, especially one looking for a nice, quiet ride. If you're looking for the exact opposite of nice and quiet, but still want enough room for you and your significant others, the Subaru WRX that we tested last week may be the perfect ride for you. Or, if you just want to drive fast and aren't at all worried about space, there's the Camaro SS. See? We offer something for everybody. From there, we look to the future. Who isn't interested in seeing the first fully electric vehicle from Porsche? And who isn't intrigued to see the Mission E testing alongside a gaggle of Teslas? A brand-new Jeep is always a big deal, especially when it's the revival of a classic nameplate like the Grand Wagoneer. And finally, we have something completely different: the Rezvani Tank. As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry. 2018 Honda Accord First Drive | Feels like home again 2018 Buick Enclave First Drive Review | Fortress of quietude 2018 Subaru WRX Drivers' Notes | Turbo traditionalist 2018 Chevy Camaro SS Drivers' Notes | Demonstrative power, middling interior Porsche Mission E caught testing against Teslas Jeep three-row SUV caught on public roads — Grand Wagoneer, perhaps? Jeep Wrangler Mojo and Cherokee Dakar teased ahead of Moab Easter Safari

Wed, 02 Apr 2014

Jeep has an annual tradition of debuting wild, new concepts during its Easter Jeep Safari, and this year looks to be no different. The automaker has already confirmed two of the six vehicles for 2014 - the Cherokee Dakar (pictured above) and Wrangler Mojo. This year's event runs in Moab, Utah, from April 12-20.
There are no official details about either of the concepts yet - Jeep will release more info on the new models next week. Judging by the pictures, though, the Cherokee Dakar appears to be lifted with some knobby off-road tires. The Wrangler Mojo looks to have a bulging hood that might hide a more powerful engine underneath.
Past vehicles at the Easter Jeep Safari have included a Hemi V8-powered Wrangler, a classically inspired pickup and modernized Jeep Forward Control. Since this is the brand's chance to express itself every year, hopefully it has some more sensational concepts up its sleeve. Scroll down to read the little information that has been revealed about this year's models so far.

Jeep Wrangler's shift to aluminum could see production leave Toledo

Mon, 06 Oct 2014

The Jeep Wrangler may be a timeless design, but sooner or later, time will run out and Chrysler will have to replace it with a newer model more friendly towards the earth it's designed to traverse. That will, it seems, mean a shift to aluminum construction (whether just for the body or for the entire structure) - but what will that mean for the Wrangler's long-time home of Toledo, OH?
According to the latest pronouncements from Fiat Chrysler chief Sergio Marchionne, the shift to an aluminum Wrangler would likely mean moving production out of Toledo. "If the solution is aluminum," Marchionne told Automotive News, "then I think unfortunately Toledo is the wrong place, the wrong setup to try and build a Wrangler, because it requires a complete reconfiguring of the assets that would be cost-prohibitive."
Marchionne also indicated that, were Wrangler production to move elsewhere, it would find another line to take its place in Ohio. "One of the thing that we are dealing with now is what else we do with Toledo that fulfills our commitment to the city and to Ohio. I don't have a doubt that there will be zero impact on head count and employment levels and anything else." Jeep has built the Wrangler in Toledo since World War II, with the exception of six years starting in 1986 when it was built in Brampton, Ontario. The complex dates back to 1910 and currently produces the Wrangler and Cherokee. Past products have included the Wagoneer and Commanche as well as the Dodge Dakota and Nitro.
