1990 JEEP WRANGLER YJ 4x4

4.2L - 6 CYL
5 SPEED MANUAL

RUST FREE

NO RESERVE - HIGHEST BIDDER WINS

NEW SEATS
RUBICON WHEELS
FRONT REPLACEMENT BUMPER

If you are looking for a good beach cruiser, or a ranch vehicle, or a rust free wrangler, you have found it!

This Jeep has the 4.2L Carborated 6 CYL. This motor has 188k miles. This Jeep came from California and has all of the california smog equipment still on there. The motor is a little tired, and white smokes a little bit. It always starts right up, and drives down the road just fine. The 5 speed manual transmission shifts through all of the gears extremely smooth. 4x4 works great. While I would drive this jeep all over the ranch or beach, I probably wouldn't drive it a couple hours there. This would be a great candidate for a motor swap or just leave as a ranch vehicle. I drive it 20 minutes home at 55 the other day, no problem. No radio. No A/C. No other tops. What you see is what you get.

Body is very straight with no major dents or dings. Tires are in decent shape.1 has more wear than the other 3.

Jeep must be picked up in Georgetown, Texas within 7 days of auction end. Full payment is due within 7 days. If you are an out of town buyer, payment within 7 days, and pickup can be flexible.

No trades, No buy it now price. Bid to win.

Call or Text 512-848-6785 anytime with questions. I can show in Georgetown, TX any day.
$500 deposit due within 24 hours of auction end via PayPal.

You probably won't see FCA's famous Easter eggs on an Alfa Romeo

Thu, Nov 17 2016

They started in Jeeps, with images of seven-slot grilles showing up on windshield edges, the text "SINCE 1941" appearing in the clear plastic of headlight units, and a relief map of Moab engraved into a rubber cubby liner. Then a Chrysler got a map of Detroit and the outline of Laguna Seca materialized near the Viper's window switch. We've come to call them Easter eggs, but Klaus Busse points out that they were never really meant to be secrets, just ways to dress up what he calls "dead plastic." He's nevertheless cool with the phrase being applied and likes the enthusiastic response these design details get. Busse is intimately familiar with many of them, having signed off on many of them in his time as head interior designer for FCA's US operations. He recently moved to Europe to lead Alfa Romeo, Maserati, and Fiat design there, so when I caught up with him next to the new Stelvio crossover at the Alfa stand in LA, I had to ask: Are we going to see any of those neat design details in Alfas or Maseratis anytime soon? The short answer is no. But he didn't say it's out of the question. Busse said if, for example, a designer wanted to put an Italian phrase somewhere on a car that was in keeping with the brand, he would allow it. Although he didn't come out and say it, it seems like he might feel this type of fun design element isn't necessarily appropriate for a higher-end brand like Alfa. And I get that. But I'm still going to check all the compartments of that new Alfa crossover for a map of the Stelvio Pass. Here's why you shouldn't try to drift a Jeep Cherokee

Tue, Nov 25 2014

This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. There are many reasons why an XJ-generation (or really any other) Jeep Cherokee doesn't make for a good drift machine. It's tall, it's four-wheel-drive... it's a Jeep, okay? But someone apparently forgot to tell that to this guy. Uploaded to LiveLeak, this video shows some poor schmuck who took his Cherokee to a (mostly) empty parking lot and tried to drift it. Needless to say, things didn't go quite as he planned, but they probably went exactly as you might have expected. Thankfully, nobody appears to have been hurt. Or at least, we assume so, since the guy apparently survived to put the video up online.

2013 AEV Brute Double Cab

Fri, 11 Jan 2013

These are the guys who bring an M777 howitzer to a knife fight. In terms of overall rugged utility, the all-new 2013 Brute Double Cab from American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) is about as overkill as they come, and we can't seem to get enough of the beasts that this company produces. Unlike most aftermarket firms, always striving to lower cost and increase volume (but at the expense of quality), Michigan-based AEV takes pride in its OEM-quality design, engineering, manufacturing and testing. Everything is as good, or better, than the stuff from the factory, and they have been doing it this way for more than 15 years.
Launched at the recent 2012 SEMA show was the 2013 AEV Brute Double Cab. Its debut marked the company's expansion to a four-door Brute on the newer JK platform (drawing inspiration from the Land Rover Defender 130). I recently spent a few hours with the new truck in sunny Southern California, though unfortunately, due to time constraints, I was limited to pavement-only driving impressions.
