up for bids is my 1989 wrangler..it has 116,000 miles on the body and pretty much everything else on it is new or rebuilt..engine is a 360 that has about 2500 miles on a complete rebuild..bigger valves installed in the heads, dish pistons, has a mild cam installed, coated edelbrock valve covers, new edelbrock performer intake and a new edelbrock 650 cfm avs carburetor..has a new hei ignition system(plugs and wires also new). All accesories were also new with the engine..alternator,power steering pump, water pump,starter..
Transmission is a torqueflite 727 with NP 208 transfer case and both are also rebuilt with same mileage as engine..all work was done at the same time, and no corners were cut.
Suspension is a black diamond leaf spring set up with I believe a 5 inch lift and a reid racing steering knuckle with skyjacker stabilizer and quick disconnect sway bar..all 4 shocks are Rancho adjustables.Warn hubs are new...Dana axles that have been completely gone through and professionally built with 4;10 gears with detroit lockers installed..complete brake system has also been completely rebuilt..new master cylinder, calipers, rotors, drums, rubber lines were replaced with Russell performance braided lines..has dual battery tray with Optima red top battery..and one autocraft marine battery..
Inside the jeep the floors have been done in spray on bedliner that could probably be redone since it is peeling off in some spots as you can see in the pics..or just leave it as it is if it doesn't bother you..has dual front tilt forward seats that are new and the rear seat is also new..they show a little dirt on them from riding trails but wash up easily.. seatbelts are new..radio is a pioneer cd unit and has dash and rear speakers installed..it is nothing spectacular, but it works.CB radio is also included...b&m floor shifter, auto meter gauges are functional and accurate..
has a new Badlands 12,000lb. winch mounted to the front bumper that has never been used..comes with the plug in controller
tires are Pro Comp 35x12.50x15 .they are mounted to Micky Thompson polished classic lock wheels with beadlocks..wheels and tires have maybe 300 miles on them..
the besttop soft top appears to be pretty new also..and the jeep also comes with a bikini top and hardware..
the paint is all original and is not perfect..there are a few chips and scratches on it but nothing major..there is a tear in the rubber rocker panel on the driver side about 3 inches long..see pics..and previous owner had trimmed the fenders for clearance and had bushwacker flares that covered the cuts but took them off for some reason..with the factory flares you can see about a 1 inch gap between the fender and the flare on the driver side, and no gap on the passenger side.
feel free to ask any questions if you have any and happy bidding..thanks for viewing.
I would like to add that I have no idea why there is the title alert or salvage on the vehicle report..I have the title in my hand,it is not a salvage title and I can assure you 100% that there is absolutely no structural damage of any kind on this vehicle anywhere..

2014 Jeep Cherokee starting price set at $22,995*
Mon, 10 Jun 2013Love it or hate it, the 2014 Cherokee is on its way to a Jeep showroom near you this fall. Today, Chrysler announced the different trim levels, features and pricing for its new compact utility with a starting price of $22,995 (*not including $995 for destination), which is $400 less than the 2012 Liberty it ostensibly replaces.
Available in four trim levels - Sport, Latitude, Limited and Trailhawk - the new Cherokee will come standard with Chrysler's 2.4-liter Tigershark inline four-cylinder engine with the upper three levels offering the option of the company's 3.2-liter Pentastar V6. The base Sport is your typical entry-level model, featuring equipment including manual cloth seats and black exterior mirrors and door handles, but it also has a five-inch Uconnect media center, LED taillights and 10 standard airbags. Stepping up from the Sport model, Latitude and Limited trims bring increasing levels of luxury starting at $24,495 and $27,995, respectively. All three of these trims are front-wheel drive in standard configuration and offer varying versions of Jeep's Active Drive four-wheel-drive system.
The range-topping $29,495 Cherokee Trailhawk (shown above) comes standard with four-wheel drive and numerous upgrades to earn Jeep's Trail Rated fender badge. These changes include a unique design that adds an off-road suspension with taller ride height giving more aggressive approach and departure angles, underbody skid plates, distinguishing exterior design elements and a seven-inch, reconfigurable instrument gauge cluster similar to what it found in high-trim Dodge Dart models. Scroll down for a full breakdown of the 2014 Cherokee pricing and trim levels, and let us know what you think of the model's pricing and equipment in Comments.
Say goodbye to the Dodge Dart and Chrysler 200
Wed, Jan 27 2016Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne outlined an update to the company's five-year business plan Wednesday, and among the changes, the Dodge Dart and Chrysler 200 sedans will soon be phased out. The company's presentation to investors states that the "market shift from cars to trucks and UVs [utility vehicles is] now seen as permanent shift in demand," and FCA wants to respond as quickly as possible. Killing the 200 and Dart will allow FCA to build more Jeep and Ram models at the Sterling Heights, MI, and Belvidere, IL, plants where the sedans were produced. We already knew FCA was planning to shift 200 and Dart production to Mexico, to free up the Sterling Heights facility for Ram 1500 production, and the Belivdere site for Jeep Cherokee output. The Cherokee will move from its current home in Toledo, OH, to allow for increased Wrangler production. It's no shock that FCA wants to shift its focus to crossovers and trucks. In December 2015, for example, combined sales of the Dodge Dart and Chrysler 200 were 15,310. The Jeep Cherokee, which uses the same platform as the Dart and 200, outsold both models combined, with 24,049 sales. Both the Dart and 200 had troubles from the beginning. Marchionne recently blamed designers for the 200 not receiving a Consumer Reports 'recommended' rating, and the Dart was one of the lowest-scoring cars in a CR reliability study. Jeep Grand Wagoneer could top out at $130,000
Thu, Oct 6 2016Jeep's image presents a blue-collar, American brand that builds SUVs for Average Joe drivers, nevermind the thousands of $40,000 Wrangler Unlimited that sell every year. But a revived Grand Wagoneer could push Jeep prices into a whole new realm. Eventually. Speaking to AutoExpress, Jeep boss Mike Manley confirmed "the Grand Wagoneer concept is moving forward," and that its price could reach levels previously unheard of from the brand. "I don't think there's a maximum price ceiling per se for Jeep. If you look at the upper end of the segment in the US, for me, the Grand Wagoneer done well can compete all the way through this segment," Manley told AE. "I'll use US dollars, but pushing the car up to $130,000 to $140,000 may be possible, but we need to establish Grand Wagoneer in its own right first. That's why I wouldn't say there's price ceiling." That's about twice as much as Jeep's current most-expensive model, the $66,690 Grand Cherokee SRT. Hell, it's more than a Dodge Viper ACR, and is roughly on par with a base Maserati GranTurismo. But while getting wrapped up in the idea of a six-figure Jeep is easy, Manley's argument that his brand needs to establish the new model first is more important. It absolutely does not sound like Jeep will introduce the reborn Grand Wagoneer with a trim near $130,000. Instead, we bet the new flagship model will kick off between $50,000 and $60,000, right near the top of where the brand currently plays. That lets Jeep undercut entry level versions of the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLS, and GMC Yukon Denali without giving brand loyalists sticker shock. After establishing the Grand Wagoneer, to use Manley's parlance, Jeep can afford to push higher and challenge the base level Range Rover, which starts around $85,000. Only after that can we expect Manley's hypothesizing to come true. So yeah, while a $130,000 Jeep sounds like a possibility, we wouldn't expect it for at least a few model years after the Grand Wagoneer's big debut. Related Video:
