1987 Jeep Wrangler YJ
Jeep is not street legal. It has custom 4 link suspension front and rear with coil springs. Has a 360 V8 motor, nv4500 standard transmission and transfer case all out of a 1994 Dodge 1500. Rear GM 14 bolt axle and a Dana 60 front axle both with 4.10 gears and the front is welded. Tires are super swamper 15/42/16.5 TSL with about 70% tread with some rock rash but are in good shape overall that are mounted on beadlock wheels. Fuel cell mounted just inside tailgate. The hardtop is off of a CJ so it doesn't fit perfect but it does the job. Full hydraulic steering. Has really good flex on the trail and if you point it at something it will go over it. Only issue is right now the Jeep has too much flex for the front coil springs as they will fall out before the suspensions flex is maxed out. Contact me for more pictures, buy it now price or any other questions. Will possibly trade just let me know what you have.

FCA is setting a five-year strategy: Here's how the last one played out
Thu, May 31 2018We're slightly more than four years removed from Sergio Marchionne last five-year plan for FCA, a tell-all where the Italian-American automaker divulged its plans for the 2014 through 2018 model years. It was a grand affair, where Sergio told FCA investors that all was right in Auburn Hills, Alfa Romeo and Maserati were making comebacks, and the fifth-gen Dodge Viper received a mid-cycle refresh. You can read every last one of those past predictions right here. We're on our way to Europe to see Sergio's sequel, coming out Friday straight from FCA's Italian headquarters. (Bloomberg reports a plan to expand Jeep and Ram globally, combine Alfa Romeo and Maserati into a single division for an eventual spinoff, and downsizing Fiat and Chrysler. Also, EVs.) But before we arrive in Italy and find out exactly what Marchionne has planned for 2019 through 2023 as his last act as CEO, let's take a minute to tally up the results of his last term based on the same scoresheet we used in 2014. Now, we're only five months into 2018, so much of this — including vehicles like the Ram HD and Jeep Grand Wagoneer — could still debut this year. For those, we'll mark things TBD. We're not going to draw any conclusions or make any objectionable remarks. We're simply going to let the stats speak for themselves.
Watch this Jeep Willys return to its birthplace after 70 years
Sun, 23 Jun 2013Earlier this month, a very significant Jeep was celebrated at the Toledo North Assembly plant. No, it wasn't the upcoming reincarnation of the Jeep Cherokee, but instead it was a 1943 Willys MB that visited the Toledo grounds where it had been built exactly 70 years ago to the day.
Of course, the actual building where the MBs rolled off the assembly line before heading to Europe for World War II no longer exists, but that didn't stop Italian owner Vittorio Argento from having the vehicle shipped to the US to make its trek back to its birth place. According to Chrysler, Argento's MB is still 95-percent original and it drove 1,000 miles from New Jersey to Toledo.
The whole adventure was chronicled on a blog aptly named A Jeep Comes Home. Scroll down for a brief video from Chrysler and for some photos of the Toledo visit and be sure to read more at Argento's blog.
Here's why you shouldn't try to drift a Jeep Cherokee
Tue, Nov 25 2014This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. There are many reasons why an XJ-generation (or really any other) Jeep Cherokee doesn't make for a good drift machine. It's tall, it's four-wheel-drive... it's a Jeep, okay? But someone apparently forgot to tell that to this guy. Uploaded to LiveLeak, this video shows some poor schmuck who took his Cherokee to a (mostly) empty parking lot and tried to drift it. Needless to say, things didn't go quite as he planned, but they probably went exactly as you might have expected. Thankfully, nobody appears to have been hurt. Or at least, we assume so, since the guy apparently survived to put the video up online.
