1986 Chevrolet S10 Tahoe Blazer on 2040-cars
Phoenix, Arizona, United States
|
I am selling my classic fuel injected (2 door) 1986 Chevrolet S-10 Tahoe Blazer . The vehicle runs, but recently was towed illegally for being backed into a stall. There was no posting for this restriction as property manager made them return vehicle. The tow company I believe, did something to make it harder to start in an attempt to keep it, (possibly spark plug removal), however the engine does turn over. Vehicle will need to be towed. I have records of recent emissions testing and recent insurance and registration available for proof of running condition. As a result of an attempted theft, the steering column is cracked. I have a replacement steering column which has already been keyed. The vehicle could not be taken due to theft deterrent device, so I assume out of spite is why they took the radio. I have since put a $300 Avital alarm on it, but guess due to radio wire, it kept going off so I removed the fuse. (2) alarm remotes are included. Hood has some minor hail marks. This was going to be fully customized, but was forced to put money into other areas before I began. Some folks are converting these over for drag racing. I have since purchased a newer car and am willing to let the truck go for someone else to make it a classic again or Hot Rod it out. The engine is strong and fast for an small SUV. It has a trailer hitch. Title is in hand. I paid $1200, I am willing to part with vehicle for $900 or Best Offer. Pictures are included for viewing. Thank you for your time. *NOTE(vehicle is for sale locally, as seller reserves the right to remove this listing upon such sale) First come, First serve. |

2018 Jeep Wrangler JL order guide leaks, ordering open at dealers
Tue, Oct 24 2017It's been a big day for Jeep news. Earlier today, a leaked timeline revealed that the new 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL will make its debut sometime in November, likely at either SEMA or the Los Angeles Auto Show. Now, thanks to our friends at JL Wrangler Forums, we have news that an order guide has leaked and order banks are open. That means you should be able to go to a Jeep dealer and place an order for a new Wrangler now. This order guide only covers the four-door Wrangler Unlimited, but it gives us a pretty clear look at the new model. At launch, the Wrangler Unlimited will come in three trims - Sport, Sahara and Rubicon. The only available engine will be FCA's 3.6-liter Pentastar V6. Those hoping for a diesel will have to wait a little while longer. All three models will offer both a manual and automatic transmission. While the current model is available in a wide range of colors, initially only five - Billet Silver, Black, Bright White, Firecracker Red and Granite Crystal - will be offered. Poring over the guide shows that features line-up pretty closely with the current model. Hardtops are still optional, as is leather on the Sahara and Rubicon. It doesn't look like you'll be able to get a Sport with a body-color top and the dual-top option for the Rubicon is only listed on the order banks with a black hardtop. The Sahara and Rubicon both have optional trailer hitches and the Rubicon has an optional steel bumper. There's lots we still don't know, but look for more news in the next month or so after the new Wrangler finally debuts. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Detroit Three automakers and UAW will continue to require masks
Thu, Jun 10 2021GM CEO Mary Barra at a Warren, Mich., training center in September. (Reuters) Â WASHINGTON — Detroit's Big Three automakers and the United Auto Workers (UAW) union said on Wednesday that workers will continue to be required to wear masks in workplaces. The joint statement from the UAW and General Motors, Ford and Chrysler-parent Stellantis NV said it was continuing the requirements "out of an abundance of caution." The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said in May that fully vaccinated people do not need to wear masks in most instances, including at work. The UAW and the automakers said temperature screening upon entering facilities is expected to be phased out. The UAW and automakers continue to recommend autoworkers get vaccinated. Many U.S. employers are still requiring vaccinated workers to wear masks in workplaces. Volkswagen AG's U.S. unit said it will "no longer require masks for fully vaccinated employees after June 21, and will continue to follow CDC guidelines." Toyota is among the automakers that has ended temperature checks and entry questionnaires at U.S. plants but it is continuing to require facial coverings. Honda and Nissan said they had made no changes to their U.S. employee COVID-19 requirements. Â Plants/Manufacturing Chrysler Dodge Ford GM Jeep RAM Safety coronavirus
