A JEEP IS JUST FUN TO OWN; FUN TO DRIVE. IVE HAD THIS ONE SINCE DEC 2009. BESIDES NORMAL WEAR FOR A 2001 VEHICLE, ITS IN GREAT SHAPE. NO RUST OR TEARS. IM ONLY SELLING IT BECAUSE I WANT TO PUT THE MONEY INTO MY HUSBAND'S '57 CHEVY RESTORATION.
PLEASE - I WILL NOT CONSIDER LOW-BALL OFFERS. ID RATHER GIVE IT TO MY 17YO THAN SETTLE. KBB LISTS ITS CURRENT RETAIL > $5000
IT HAS A 5 SPEED, 4.0L ENGINE.....THE FULL SOFT TOP WAS REPLACED APRIL 2013 WITH AN INFERIOR PRODUCT, MAY NEED A NEW TOP IN THE FUTURE, BUT WILL DUE FOR A YEAR OR SO.....CLUTCH WAS REPLACED FALL 2012, WORKS BEAUTIFULLY.....HEADLIGHTS WERE REPLACED IN APRIL 2013 BECAUSE ONE WAS OUT AND I WANTED THEM TO MATCH..... A/C, HEAT, WIPERS, LIGHTS - ALL GOOD..... NO ROOF OR ENGINE LEAKS..... ALL ZIPPERS ARE NEW AND WORK ACCORDINGLY..... 3 OF THE FLOOR DRAINAGE PLUGS ARE MISSING..... SPARE TIRE STILL HAS TABS ON THE RUBBER..... FLOOR IS RHINO LINER SPRAY-ON THROUGHOUT, NO CARPET..... ROLL BAR HAS OVERHEAD SPEAKER ATTACHMENT.....CD PLAYER..... REMOVABLE RADIO FACE PLATE (ANTI-THEFT)..... STANDARD SIZE TIRES IN GOOD SHAPE.....4WD.....JUST FUN TO OWN.
*RIGHT FRONT FENDER HAS A SMALL 'BEND' IN IT AT THE CORNER EDGE. IT IS NOT DAMAGE FROM AN ACCIDENT. IT IS FROM A DAY (MAY 2012) THE JEEP WASNT DRIVABLE, BEFORE THE CLUTCH WAS REPLACED, AND I TRIED TO USE OUR FORD EXPEDITION TO PUSH THE JEEP INTO THE GARAGE, WHICH RESULTED IN TOO MUCH PRESSURE AGAINST THE CORNER OF THE FENDER. IT WAS REPOSTIONED BY HAND AND IS SLIGHTLY NOTICEABLE. IT WAS NOT ENOUGH TO SCRATCH THE PAINT OR CREASE THE METAL.
*SEE INTERIOR PHOTO SHOWING ROOF DROOPING, BUT NO LEAKAGE OR STAINS. OTHERWISE SOFTTOP IS GOOD TO GO. THIS IS REASON IT MAY NEED TO BE REPLACED. SEE EXTERIOR PHOTO SHOWING RAIN WATER ON TOP OF ROOF.
*SEE TIRE PHOTOS SHOWING GOOD TREAD AND TABS STILL ON SPARE.
*THE VEHICLE REPORT SHOWS A TITLE RECORD FOR VA BCH IN FEB 2010. I DONT KNOW WHY THIS IS. I BOUGHT IT IN VA BCH AND REGISTERED IT IN FL IN DEC 2009. I DO NOT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE ACCIDENT FROM 2003, I HAVE HAD NO RELATED ISSUES WITH THE JEEP.
*PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS, AND COME BY TO HAVE A LOOK :D
*OTHER NOTES - DONT BUY RAMPAGE AFTER-MEARKET JEEP PRODUCTS. MY SOFTTOP BEGAN DROOPING WITH THE FIRST RAIN AND RAMPAGE STOPPED ANSWERING MY EMAILS.

Driving the Panamera and Mike's Rant | Autoblog Podcast #487
Thu, Sep 8 2016This week we cover some recent news like the upcoming Land Rover Discovery, updates to FCA's large car platform (including the Challenger), and talk about water injection. Then we go into what we've been driving - David just finished his time in the Porsche Panamera Turbo and Mike tried the GMC Acadia. And then Mike (who is still uncomfortable writing in the third person) goes on a rant about why automakers shouldn't specify which cars are aimed at women. The rundown is below. Remember, if you have a car-related question you'd like us to answer or you want questionable buying advice, send a message or a voice memo to podcast at autoblog dot com. Weekly Recap: Matthew McConaughey's star shines brightly for Lincoln
Sat, Jan 3 2015The commercials were a little strange at first, but the ensuing spoofs were hilarious. And all jokes aside, Matthew McConaughey has made a difference for Lincoln. Advertisements starring the Oscar winner launched in September, and the results have been impressive. The number of customers clicking on Lincoln.com to check out the MKC – the crossover McConaughey pitched – has tripled since the ads began airing, a spokesman told Autoblog. They also generated 4.4 million views on YouTube and spawned parodies by Ellen DeGeneres, Conan O'Brien, South Park and Jim Carrey on Saturday Night Live, which racked up another 15 million views. Most importantly, Lincoln's sales have increased 15 percent through November, helped significantly by the strong launch of the MKC. Without the addition of the MKC, Lincoln's sales would have been essentially flat last year. The MKC has received solid reviews from consumers and the press, though it has had several recalls. "The overwhelming response to the MKC campaign sparked truly great awareness for Lincoln," Andrew Frick, Lincoln group marketing manager, said in a statement. Now Lincoln has launched another round of spots, which kicked off New Year's Day during college football bowl games. This time, McConaughey is hawking the MKZ sedan and its hybrid sibling. The spots, called Diner and Balance, use the same artistic formula as the earlier ads, with McConaughey intoning seriously about the cars in dramatic settings. They were shot over two days in Los Angeles and were directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, a Danish filmmaker who directed the 2011 move, Drive. The ads continue Lincoln's multiyear deal with McConaughey, who has said he's been long been interested in the brand. He starred in the 2011 thriller, The Lincoln Lawyer, as a defense attorney who worked out of a Town Car, though that was before his deal with Lincoln. In one of the earlier ads, McConaughey claims: "I've been driving a Lincoln since long before anybody paid me to drive one. I didn't do it to be cool. I didn't to it to make a statement. I just liked it." That sentiment appears to have worked for the MKC's launch, and with this new advertising blitz, Lincoln hopes it carries over to the MKZ. Mopar teases four of 'nearly 20' SEMA Show concepts
Fri, Oct 23 2015Yesterday it was Chevrolet. Today, Mopar has dropped some SEMA knowledge, releasing a quartet of teaser images that give us some indication of what kind of cars, trucks, and crossovers Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram will be showing in Las Vegas. Like Chevy, Mopar's concepts utilize both production and concept accessories, although Fiat Chrysler has gone a bit more indepth on at least one of its concepts. Immediately, the most tantalizing teaser is the one shown above. Yes, that's the back of a Challenger, and aside from the bright orange accents on the gray body, you should take notice of the badge mounted on the spoiler – yes, that says "GT AWD." To be honest, such a vehicle wouldn't be a huge shock, as both the Challenger's LX platform-mates, the Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300, are offered with all-wheel-drive options. Still, adding such a vehicle to the production cycle would give Dodge a leg up on the rear-drive only Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro. Aside from that concept, FCA has also released teasers of a Ram-based concept, a 300-based concept, and what we're guessing is a Fiat 500X. We can't wait to see what the actual Fiat concept has to do with kiteboarding. As for the 300 and Ram, there's not a lot of hints on what sort of styling details they'll contain. The Chrysler has additional LED accents and what we're guessing is matte blue paint, while the Ram is based on a Hemi-powered 1500 with Rebel styling cues. This is just a very tiny sample of Mopar's final SEMA roster, which include "hundreds" of parts. There should also be a total of 20 vehicles covering all four former Chrysler Group brands, as well as Fiat. Naturally, we'll have plenty to report on each vehicle once the SEMA show kicks off in the next couple weeks.
