Up for bid is my Jeep Grand Wagoneer in stock and original condition. I have been the owner of this vehicle for the past 8 years. The Pros: 118K miles. This vehicle has been well-maintained, drives and runs great and has a straight body that has never been in an accident. The carpet, door panels and seat leather is in good condition (with the exception of a tear in the carpet in the cargo area). The front and back shocks and the transmission fluid and filter and ignition coil have all been recently replaced. The carburetor was replaced about 5 years ago. The car is currently registered & easily passes CA emissions standards. Now to the CONS: the faux wood paneling could use replacing in a few spots, the paint is 25 years old and showing its age. The headliner is sagging and could use replacing. The a/c works but could use recharging. And finally, someone stole the fog lamps off the front (so they're missing). All this GW needs is a good home. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pick-up and/or delivery. Please let me know if you have any questions.

2014 Jeep Cherokee configurator up and running

Production delays aside, Jeep is steaming towards its September on-sale date for the 2014 Cherokee. The reborn midsizer's configurator has just gone live, meaning you can fiddle with different options, colors and trim levels to your heart's content.
The cheapest model available is the 4X2 Sport, which starts at a reasonable $22,995. On the high end, the Cherokee's builder allowed us to indulge our passion for ludicrously priced vehicles by outfitting the top-end Trailhawk, which already starts at $29,495, with $8,610 in options. The resulting car, which you can see above, would retail for $39,100 after the $995 destination is factored in.

Jeep shows off Moab Easter Safari concepts crawling the red rocks

While most brands are busy showing off in New York, Jeep headed out to Moab for the Easter Jeep Safari with the company's fleet of 2013 concepts. This year saw the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk II, Wrangler Mopar Recon, Wrangler Stitch, Wrangler Sand Trooper II, Wrangler Flattop and Wrangler Slim Concepts tackle the rocks and sand, and Jeep was kind enough to bring along a camera crew to film the machines rolling over a few obstacles. The result is the video below, though don't expect to see too much hardcore off road action.
Instead, the quick clip features more than a few interviews with Jeep executives, including Jeep Head of Product Design Mark Allen, explaining what makes the Easter Jeep Safari so important.
