Selling a rare 1993 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. These were only made one year, with low production numbers. These are collectible, and will only increase in value. This one is a "true" 1993 model because it was produced in May of 1993, near the end of the production run. These sold for $30,000 and were top of the line in 1993. It has the 5.2 (318) V8 with plenty of power.
This Wagoneer has been adult driven, and not driven off road or abused. The paint is in excellent condition and shines like new. It really has the appearance of a new vehicle. Recent parts installed; alternator, starter, cruise control servo, & clutch on compressor. Recent service; motor oil changed, transmission oil & filter, & all drive train fluids changed. Parts are readily available since the are made on the Grand Cherokee platform. It is full time four wheel drive, works well, and is a very capable off road vehicle. NOTE: it has 3, factory, heavy duty METAL skid plates, one to protect the front suspension, 2nd one to protect the transfer case, & the 3rd to protect the gas tank. There are no dents/scrapes, on the under carriage that verifies it has not been abused. It has a matched set of Good Year Wranglers, with about 60% of tread left. It drives good, and has very good brakes. It is in original condition and has not been modified. The running lights are factory original, and all lights work properly. All lights look new in appearance. AC & heat work great too. When you drive it around town you will get the looks and conversation. I have never, ever, seen one of these in this area. You will have a nice rare, collectible, 4X4, that will always start a good conversation. Buyer responsible for pickup. $500 is due at auction end by paypal, and balance due 10 days after auction end by cash or paypal only. NO SCAMMERS!!! |

Chrysler investigating complaints of vehicles with faulty power modules
Sun, 24 Aug 2014Chrysler owners are hopping mad after experiencing a series of electrical gremlins in some of the company's vehicles. Issues range from mere annoyances - windows rolling down and radios turning off of their own accord - to serious safety issues, with headlights that randomly shut off at night and cars that stall and refuse to start.
The issues are being blamed on the total integrated power module, which can cost up to $1,000 for customers to replace. This, of course, has led to a hefty batch of complaints to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, with 240 owners expressing their displeasure so far. Another site, CarComplaints.com, has registered over 300 complaints relating to the 2010 to 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango, alone, according to The New York Times.
Chrysler has acknowledged that it's investigating the complaints and is analyzing the faulty TIPMs, but that isn't quite enough for customers of the affected vehicles. The newspaper has snagged a few of the more harrowing tales with the electrically challenged Chrysler products, culled from the NHTSA complaints.
Jeep follows up Super Bowl spot with call to help the USO
Tue, 05 Feb 2013Once again, Chrysler had one of the most talked about Super Bowl commercials with its two-minute Whole Again Jeep spot, which was used to highlight its Operation SAFE Return program for US military personnel returning home from active duty. As part of this campaign, Jeep announced today that it will be donating up to $300,000 to the United Services Organizations (USO), and you can help.
Simply tweet using the #joinOSR hashtag on Twitter, visit the Yahoo! homepage or go to the Jeep Operation SAFE Return website, and Jeep will donate $1 to a fund that provides returning troops things like employment assistance and incentives to buy new vehicles. Jeep is also donating to this charity to the tune of $250 for each Jeep Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited (including the Freedom Edition model) and Jeep Patriot Freedom Edition model sold.
Watch this R/C Jeep Wrangler plow snow
Mon, 06 Jan 2014There's no denying the fact that the Jeep Wrangler is one tough and rugged vehicle, and there is apparently little lost when the SUV is shrunk down for a 1:10th scale radio-controlled version. Proving that the Axial SCX10 Jeep Wrangler is not your run-of-the-mill R/C car, YouTube user Andrew Dykiel posted a pair of videos showing it clear about an inch of snow from his sidewalk and driveway during a snow storm last month.
Starting at $379.99, the Axial SCX10 costs more than most budget snowblowers, but other than paying a neighbor kid to shovel your snow, this might be the best way for a car guy to clear snow without the need for hot chocolate and ibuprofen. Better yet, it's electric, so it's zero-emission answer to snow removal! Scroll down to see how this R/C Jeep can help "shovel" snow from the warmth of your sofa. We've also thrown in a bonus video showing the mini Jeep negotiating the Rubicon Trail.
