New tires, hoses, belts, muffler, tailpipe, battery, fuel pump, water pump, fan clutch, 4 shock absorbers, thermostat, pressure cap, 4 stereo speakers, tune included wires, plugs, rebuilt carburetor, new EGR valve and packed the wheel bearings.
Wagonmaster sold it to a paramedic in Washington Nov 2002 who completed the following work per the receipts to be more able to tow an Airstream:
Hedman Headers, Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor and fuel filter kit, alternator, speedo cable, replaced woodgrain exterior and 2 window motors.
That owner sold it to us with 92,000 miles March of 2005. We took it to the Jeep dealer and had them check the entire vehicle and repair the following:
Full service, replaced front brake pads, resurfaced rotors and repacked wheel bearings, front end alignment, turn signal flasher switch replaced, power steering gear box and all pressure hoses replaced, repaired clock and dome light wiring, replaced exhaust gaskets, replaced stereo with a JVC CD receiver(we have the original and it goes with it) and replaced the fuel pump. We did not repair 2 items, the driver power mirror switch fell into the door and the sunroof doesn't open but is water tight and looks great. Truck was recently serviced, a small rear main seal leak was fixed and the tailgate window switch replaced at that time.

Here's why you shouldn't try to drift a Jeep Cherokee

There are many reasons why an XJ-generation (or really any other) Jeep Cherokee doesn't make for a good drift machine. It's tall, it's four-wheel-drive... it's a Jeep, okay? But someone apparently forgot to tell that to this guy. Uploaded to LiveLeak, this video shows some poor schmuck who took his Cherokee to a (mostly) empty parking lot and tried to drift it. Needless to say, things didn't go quite as he planned, but they probably went exactly as you might have expected. Thankfully, nobody appears to have been hurt. Or at least, we assume so, since the guy apparently survived to put the video up online.
Chrysler extending production of current Dodge Avenger, Jeep Wrangler, Grand Caravan
Wed, 24 Jul 2013Are you hesitant to pull the trigger on a brand new Dodge Avenger in hopes that a new one will be coming? Well, don't hold your breath. According to The Detroit News, Chrysler will be extending production of the current Avenger sedan through the end of 2015.
Originally, we heard that the company would kill the Avenger to better focus its midsize sedan efforts on the Chrysler 200 replacement. But then new reports stated there would indeed be an Avenger successor, and that we could see it as early as next January. This Detroit News report cites supplier sources confirming the extension of Avenger production, though Chrysler has not released an official statement on the matter.
These same suppliers say that the current Jeep Wrangler will live on through mid-2018 - that's right, another five years. The Detroit News reports that a replacement for the iconic, go-anywhere Jeep was due in mid-2016.
2013 AEV Brute Double Cab
Fri, 11 Jan 2013These are the guys who bring an M777 howitzer to a knife fight. In terms of overall rugged utility, the all-new 2013 Brute Double Cab from American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) is about as overkill as they come, and we can't seem to get enough of the beasts that this company produces. Unlike most aftermarket firms, always striving to lower cost and increase volume (but at the expense of quality), Michigan-based AEV takes pride in its OEM-quality design, engineering, manufacturing and testing. Everything is as good, or better, than the stuff from the factory, and they have been doing it this way for more than 15 years.
Launched at the recent 2012 SEMA show was the 2013 AEV Brute Double Cab. Its debut marked the company's expansion to a four-door Brute on the newer JK platform (drawing inspiration from the Land Rover Defender 130). I recently spent a few hours with the new truck in sunny Southern California, though unfortunately, due to time constraints, I was limited to pavement-only driving impressions.
