The title/odometer issue is simply a result of the former owner not listing the mileage on the bill of sale/title he gave to me. At the SCDMV, they would not look at the odometer to get mileage but instead issued the new title with "not actual mileage" because the former owner left the line blank. Welcome to SC. Here's your sign."

I have a 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer with a rebuilt 360 in it. Fresh out the shop. Dana 44 axles, 3" lift, edelbrock intake, MSD distributor, new paint & wood grain, new brakes, drums, new wiring, new speakers, new tires etc. Beautiful. Put your finishing touches on it. I am only selling it because I just purchased a new truck and no longer need the Jeep to pull my boat. This thing is a beast. Only thing I lack is fixing the ac. I charged it up and it held freon for 36 hours. Then nothing. Could be compressor or leaky hose. Message me with any questions. I have the roof rack, vinyl cargo cover and wind deflector. Back window will go down from button on console but needs new key motor to open from rear tailgate. I've spent a lot on this Jeep. It is the 25th anniversary edition. I also have the molding strips that go around the graphics. If you want to go back to the traditional teak or cherry (this is wengewood), you can pull off the 3M graphics and order replacements online. HAPPY BIDDING. LOW RESERVE.

Jeep will show new Grand Wagoneer to dealers this summer

    Mon, Jun 8 2015

It's generally accepted that the Jeep Cherokee was the first real midsize sport utility vehicle to make headway into the hearts, minds and driveways of American consumers in 1984. While that SUV was aimed at the mainstream, it could be argued that the vehicle that made the idea of a luxury SUV possible was the seminal Jeep Grand Wagoneer. We've been hearing rumblings of a revived Grand Wagoneer for years, but if a report from Automotive News is accurate (despite the fact that it seemingly contradicts an earlier report from the same outlet), the wait may nearly be over. Jeep plans to show off its new Grand Wagoneer at the upcoming dealer show in Las Vegas in August, and while that doesn't give any real indication of when such a vehicle may make it into the hands of consumers, such news probably at least means the automaker has a finalized design. While we're mostly over retro-inspired cars, we'll happily cast a vote toward a three-row Grand Wagoneer with faux woodie body sides, if anyone cares to tally it... Millionth Jeep Wrangler JK to roll off line this morning

    Fri, 17 May 2013

According to a report on the Chrysler Communications Facebook page and one fairly grainy image of the production line, at around 11:00AM Eastern this morning, the one-millionth Jeep Wrangler JK will roll out of the company's Toledo assembly plant.
The third-generation or "JK" Jeep Wrangler has been around since the 2007 model year, and has obviously been more popular than ever. With a greater than ever number of trim levels, two-door and four-door Unlimited models and hardy off-roading Rubicon packages, the JK offers more to choose from than ever for those looking for something in a traditional Jeep. In fact, with the modern 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 powering it, the 2012 model year saw more than 140k Wrangers sold here in the US; the best-ever figure for the model.
With a model refresh due out for the Wrangler in 2015 (along with the likely addition of a diesel engine option), we expect that sales will continue to roll right along, too.

Chinese Jeep production confirmed with Fiat, Guangzhou agreement

    Wed, 21 Aug 2013

Fiat has just finalized a deal originally set up in January between it and China's Guangzhou Automotive Group to bring Jeep production to China. It remains unclear which models will be built, although we're wagering that it'll be the 2014 Cherokee. What we do know, now, is where production will take place.
According to Automotive News, Guangzhou originally wanted production to take place in its home assembly plant in its namesake city. Fiat has battled to send production to a joint venture facility established between Guangzhou and Fiat in the town of Changsha. The joint facility won out, and now the factory, originally built in 2010 with a 140,000-unit capacity, will see Jeeps rolling out of it.
Currently, the GAC-Fiat factory produces the Fiat Viaggio, a jointly developed product that is closely related to America's Dodge Dart. And while it remains unclear as to which model will join the Viaggio on the assembly line, that model is understood to ride on Fiat's Compact platform. The only Jeep to share those underpinnings is the new Cherokee, so there's not much connecting of dots needed to see why this scenario would make sense.
