1982 Jeep Wagoneer Base Sport Utility 4-door 4.2l on 2040-cars
Reno, Nevada, United States
Meet Miss. Penny! Extremely original 1982 Jeep Wagoneer. 82998.9 original miles. Has a very strong running 258 c.i. straight six motor, automatic transmission, and four wheel drive with manual locking hubs. Brand new tires, battery, distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs and wires, new muffler. Brake pads have approximately 100 miles on them. Air Conditioner works, needs to be recharged. The jeep is original in every other way. Paint, interior trim, mechanics, hoses etc. Every thing works including the original am/fm push button radio. Roll up windows and manual door locks. There is a minor scratch next to the front bumper on the passenger side. about a nickel size bubble in the paint on the rear tail gate, and some "orange peel" behind the drivers side rear door. A small tear in the head liner above the rear window. The weather stripping around the windows needs to be replaced. this vehicle is in excellent shape for being 30 plus years old. It has NOT been restored, repainted or otherwise altered. Only the things necessary to maintain its drivability have been replaced. Many of the original manufacturers stickers are still in place around the engine compartment. I have retained the original plug wires dated 1981 as well. This vehicle has been stored and covered in a garage for the past 7 years, driven approximately 200 miles a year. Miss Penny is a special kind of lady and gets a lot of looks. This is your chance to own a retro 4x4! Miss Penny has been sitting for to long and needs to go to a home that will drive her. The jeep has never been off-roading or abused. The beauty of this vintage gem is her originality!

Sunday Drive: Variety is the spice of life
Sun, Nov 12 2017If there's any one new vehicle the entire world is anxiously waiting for, it's the Jeep Wrangler. Yes, of course the iconic off-roader has a loyal following here in America, but you could plop a Wrangler pretty much anywhere on the globe and everybody will know what it is. Put simply, the redesigned 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL has big, muddy shoes to fill, and the readers of Autoblog are just as interested in the Wrangler's rebirth as anyone else. Moving along, we were fortunate enough last week to spend a bit of time in nearly every version of the venerable Volkswagen Golf all in one day. There isn't a Golf we don't like, but there's one, easily identifiable by its three-digit name, that stands above all the rest: GTI. We think it's the best Golf you can buy, even if there's an R-badged variant that slots above the GTI in VW hierarchy. Rounding out our recap are three vehicles that could hardly be more different. The 2019 GMC Sierra, which was seen wearing pretty light camouflage, is a truck. The Lamborghini Terzo Millennio – which isn't going to go on sale, ever, at any price – is a conceptual supercar. And the Honda CB1000R is a retro-themed naked standard motorcycle. Variety really is the spice of life. 2018 Jeep Wrangler spy shot mega gallery Driving nearly every VW Golf: Base, GTI, R, Alltrack — here's what we learned 2019 GMC Sierra spied sporting just a thin wrapping The Lamborghini Terzo Millennio is a brutally fantastic EV supercar concept Honda unveils 2 new motorcycles, including retro-flavored CB1000R Image Credit: Brian Williams GMC Honda Jeep Lamborghini Volkswagen Technology Truck Convertible Crossover Hatchback SUV Performance sunday drive vw golf gti lamborghini terzo millennio
2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 4X4
Wed, 13 Feb 2013Ice skates are spectacular on frozen water, yet they are dreadful everyday footwear. I consider the Jeep Wrangler equally as specialized.
I recently spent a week with a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon 4X4. Introduced for the 2007 model year, the Wrangler Unlimited is a standard JK two-door with 20.6 inches added to its wheelbase and two additional doors bolted to its passenger compartment. While Jeep offers the Unlimited in seven different trim levels, the desirable Rubicon is the most capable when the pavement ends, as it boasts a slew of hardcore off-road tools including front and rear electronic locking differentials and a front sway bar that can be disengaged at the touch of a button for improved articulation. My I-Look-Like-A-Traffic-Cone test model started with a base price of $34,095 (plus $995 destination). Options including a five-speed automatic transmission, Uconnect, tow package and a premium soft top, drove the bottom line up to $38,630.
