No Reserve! One Owner, 4x4, Cd, All Power Options 3.7l V6 Engine, Mint Condition on 2040-cars
Staten Island, New York, United States
Up for sale is this 2007 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4 with the 3.7 Liter V6 engine. This Jeep Liberty is an all original vehicle
and has no
accident history on the autocheck report. This is also a ONE OWNER vehicle. This SUV looks great inside
and out and runs like a new Jeep would.
Unfortunately, this car was involved in a fresh water
flood and
its being sold with a New York salvage certificate. I am not sure why
the insurance company decided to brand this car a flood car because I
can see no sign of flood damage anywhere on this vehicle. This SUV is
in perfect mechanical condition and everything works the way it should,
and I mean everything! Every single light bulb lights up and every
switch functions properly. There are no warning lights on the dash of
any type. I do not believe any water entered this vehicle at all. The
carpets and mats are all dry and there is no smell or anything like
that. This car was just branded a flood because of liablilty reasons.
There is no way any water touched this vehicle. The underneath of the
car looks like it just rolled of the showroom. I have been driving this
vehicle on and off and its a really nice
driving vehicle. All the maintanence on the car was done recently and
its ready
for its new owner. Nothing has to be done to this car! The vehicle was
also just professionally detailed inside and out. The tires are like brand new and were purchased recently. They are all
matching Goodyear Wrangler tires. This is a very well taken cared of vehicle
and
it will last
someone forever. This Liberty runs and drives like a new vehicle would.
You
literally jump in this car and drive it 2,000 miles back home without
any problems. This vehicle also has the powerful 3.7 Liter V6 engine.
So, it can tow more and has much better performance on and off
road.
This Jeep Liberty is
loaded up with all the options. It has the Sport trim package, 4 wheel drive, fog lamps, remote
keyless entry, traction control, upgraded 16 inch alloy wheels with on/off-road tires, hatch mounted 5th alloy spare wheel, luggage rack,
power windows, power locks, power mirrors, CD player, cruise control, ICE COLD AC, rear hatch wiper, Fold-down rear seats for extra storage, and just too much more to mention. This Jeep has it all. The car comes
with the orignal Jeep remote key fob. We also have the 5th spare wheel mounted to the back of the vehicle as shown, and the jack and tool kit are present and complete as well. The exterior of
the
car likes pristine. The car is absolutely clean with major dents or
scrathces that I have seen anywhere on this vehicle. This vehicle is also 100% rust free! The paint is in perfect condition and it shines
like
glass. You can see your face in the paint. This is a nice all original
vehicle with
no accident history in the
autocheck report. The exterior of this vehicle is in perfect condition in my opinion and I think you would be hard pressed to find a cleaner one. This is a keeper all the way. The
interior of the car is also in nice shape. The seats are is fantastic
condition with the exception of a small blemish on the drivers side seat, which you can see in my pics. The blemish is small than a dime. Other than that, the vehicle looks supreme and was very well cared for unlike many Jeeps. The carpets and other panels are
all in great shape and all the mechanicals and electricals are 100%.
This car looks and drives like a newer vehicle would, its that
great! This car is
being sold as-is, where-is, and there is no warranties expressed or
implied. This vehicle is being sold with a salvage certificate. If
you would like to
see the car and test drive it, you are more than welcome to do so.
Also, feel free to ask me about the buy-it-now price. If you are
located outside my local area, I will assist in any
way possible in having the car shipped to you at your cost. A $500
non-refundable deposit must be made within 24 hours on the auctions
end. The remaining balance must be paid in full by 3 days after the
closing of the auction unless other arrangements are discussed with me
in advance. I do drive this vehicle around daily, so the mileage will be slightly higher upon pickup. With that being said, feel free to email, call, or text me
at anytime if you have any questions or concerns. My name is Frank and
my number is 347-961-1194. Thanks and good luck
bidding!

Here's what it'll take to build a Jeep Grand Cherokee Hellcat
Fri, Jun 19 2015Let's get one thing straight: We want a 707-horsepower Grand Cherokee Hellcat to happen. Badly. The latest report from Motor Authority is encouraging; the bonkers SUV supposedly has a codename, Project K, and has been given the green light for production. Fingers crossed. You might be wondering why the Trackhawk isn't already a thing. Hellcat engines exist, SRT Grand Cherokees exist, so just combine the two, right? It's not quite that easy. Here, we outline what needs to happen, why it should be the quickest Hellcat vehicle out there, and why it won't come anywhere near 200 miles per hour. How To Build A Hellcat Jeep The first engineering problem is feeding the air-intensive beast that is the 6.2-liter supercharged V8. The first engineering problem is feeding the air-intensive beast that is the 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8. Breathing is important on two counts: pulling in enough air for the combustion to put out 707 hp, and then cooling the various heat exchangers once the engine is up to temperature. Dodge did it with the Charger and Challenger, it can do it with the Jeep. This is one place where the Grand Cherokee's larger frontal area might be a boon, as it gives the engineers more surfaces through which to suck air. Once you generate the 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, it has to get to the wheels somehow. Jeep's current SRT all-wheel-drive system will at least need some beefing up to handle the torque. It could require a more complete re-engineering. We at least know the ZF-supplied eight-speed auto, used in the Dodge Hellcat models, is up to the task. The Hellcat engine should fit in the Grand Cherokee, as it's about the same size as the 6.4-liter currently in SRT Jeeps, but the Hellcat is taller because of its supercharger. The hood may need to be raised or at least resculpted for clearance, as well as to address those cooling needs. Quicker Than Everything, But Not Faster 200 mph? We're skeptical, from both a physics standpoint and a legal one. A reminder of the quick/fast distinction: quick is acceleration, fast is road speed. The Jeep's all-wheel drive will help put the Hellcat engine's power to the ground in a more manageable way than the Charger and Challenger do through just the rear wheels. That means better acceleration times than the Dodges (11.0 seconds in the quarter-mile for the Charger Hellcat, 11.2 for its Challenger sibling).
Autoblog Minute: Wrangler Pickup, Triumph Fined, Cherokee Production Moves
Fri, Sep 4 2015Autoblog senior editor Greg Migliore reports on highlights from the week in automotive news on this edition of Autoblog Minute. Show full video transcript text [00:00:00] Triumph Motorcycles in violation of the Safety Act, Jeep looks to adjust its vehicle production strategy, and a Wrangler pickup may soon be be produced in Toledo. I'm senior editor Greg Migliore, and this is your Autoblog Minute Weekly Recap. Triumph Motorcycles was hit with a $2.9-million fine because of a failure to submit safety documents to NHTSA in a timely fashion. An investigation of 1,300 bikes in September of 2014 led to this finding. Other violations were then discovered, like the late reporting of quarterly recall completion rates, and Triumph's failure to supply warranty data. Fines for these violations may seem harsh but U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx said: "Manufacturers must comply with their reporting obligations. The law requires it, and public safety demands it. When companies fail to meet those obligations, we will hold them accountable." In FCA news, it seems that production of the Jeep Cherokee will be moved from the Toledo plant to a nearby state. Automotive News first reported on this adding that Jeep may produce a pickup alongside Wrangler to fill the void left by Cherokee. Jeep declined to comment on this news. Speculation surrounding Jeep's production plans depends on the automaker's ongoing negotiations with the UAW. Those are the highlights from the week that was. Be sure to check out my full recap this Saturday, including details on Ford's performance Fusion. For Autoblog, I'm Greg Migliore. Weekly Recap: Ferrari looks to reclaim old success with new manager
Sat, Nov 29 2014Clearly, Ferrari doesn't race for fourth place, and this week, major changes continued at the Scuderia. It was a rough year for Ferrari, and the Scuderia conducted its season-ending tests in Abu Dhabi this week with a view toward a fresh start in 2015 with new leaders and a new ace driver. Though plenty of other Formula One teams were disappointed with their finishes in 2014, Ferrari was perhaps the most eager to put this season in its rear-view mirror. The Scuderia finished a distant fourth in the Constructors standings with 216 points, well behind No. 1 Mercedes (701 points), and Ferrari failed to win a single race as the Silver Arrows dominated the grid. It was an especially bitter pill for a team that claims 16 Constructors championships and 15 Drivers titles – the most in history – and is the only surviving team from F1's first season, 1950. Clearly, Ferrari doesn't race for fourth place, and this week, major changes continued at the Scuderia. Ferrari named Philip Morris executive Maurizio Arrivabene as team principal. He replaced Marco Mattiacci, who held the job for only seven months after taking over for Stefano Domenicali, who resigned in April amid the Scuderia's early-season struggles. Phillip Morris (through its Marlboro brand) is a key Ferrari sponsor, and that played a role in Arrivabene's ascension. Still, he's no stranger to F1, and has been intimately involved in the Ferrari-Marlboro partnership. He also has served as the sponsors' representative on the FIA's F1 Commission since 2010. In a statement, new Ferrari chairman Sergio Marchionne said: "We decided to appoint Maurizio Arrivabene because, at this historic moment in time for the Scuderia and for Formula One, we need a person with a thorough understanding not just of Ferrari, but also of the governance mechanisms and requirements of the sport." Arrivabene's background is primarily in marketing and communication, and most recently he held the title of vice president of consumer channel strategy and event marketing for Philip Morris. He has been with the company since 1997. Arrivabene now leads a team that's rife with change. Marchionne took over in October when longtime boss Luca di Montezemolo quit in a disagreement about Ferrari's future, and the company itself will be spun off from parent Fiat Chrysler Automobiles in 2015.
