For sale is a very clean 2009 Jeep Liberty Sport with 50,467 miles. The vehicle runs excellent and is in great condition. It has a 3.7 Liter V6 engine with an automatic transmission and features 4-wheel drive, a touchscreen radio, and a power moonroof. It also features power windows, power door locks, keyless entry, alarm system, air conditioning, cruise control, fog lights, and more. I am the 2nd owner and have owned it for 2 years. The vehicle has never been in an accident and there are no strange sounds, rattles, or smells. Everything on the vehicle works properly, it has always been very reliable and has never had any major issues. It has just had a recent oil change, the brake pads and front rotors were replaced last year, and the tires have about 20% percent tread left. There are two very minor cosmetic issues, there is a small ding on the rear bumper and a small blemish in the front passenger seat, both can be seen in the pictures. Ward's releases 10 Best Interiors list for 2014
Thu, 10 Apr 2014While we're still a ways off from the automotive awards season proper, where things like North American Car and Truck of the Year, Motor Trend's Car of the Year and Car and Driver's Ten Best are named, that doesn't mean there aren't trophies being handed out to deserving automakers. Ward's 10 Best Interiors being one of them.
As the name might imply, the magazine focuses on the very best interior treatments in the US market. Whereas some awards purposely exclude extreme, high-dollar offerings, Ward's considers them - the only requirement is that a vehicle has a "new or significantly redesigned interior."
Ward's offered up the list of winners in simple, alphabetical order, and it only seems fair to do the same:
2014 Jeep Cherokee facing production delay
Fri, 17 May 2013Jeep's bold-faced new direction spearheaded by the 2014 Cherokee is facing some teething issues. According to a report by the Detroit Free Press, production start-up of the controversial new utility vehicle at its Toledo North facility is running about a month behind schedule "due to a wide range of issues." That's according to Mark Chernoby, senior vice president of engineering at Chrysler.
Chernoby maintains that the issues being encountered aren't unusual for the launch of a new vehicle - particularly one with a new powertrain - and he downplayed the delay, telling Jeep dealers that they "will have ample inventory of the midsize SUV by fall." Among the kinks being worked out? Calibrating the Cherokee's cutting-edge ZF nine-speed automatic transmission and refining assembly line tasks to make the process more efficient.
Chrysler expects to start building retail-ready versions of the Cherokee around mid-June, with official sales slated to start in September.
