Super Nice Diesel Liberty! Runs and Drives Beautifully! No rust, accidents, paintwork, or flood damage. Clean Auto Check report.
Exterior Condition- The factory black paint shows great! It is super shiny on all panels. There are no indications of any rust, paintwork, accident history, or flood damage. It is definitely in better condition than you would expect for a vehicle of this vintage. This Jeep was loved by its prior owners. The only notable defects are very minor and are as follows: Slight wave in the roof near the windshield, 4" crack in windshield (top right, not in line of sight), ding in tailgate from the spare tire, and the spare tire bracket is slightly bent. These blemishes are only noticeable under close scrutiny. Overall it shows great and turns heads everywhere! Interior Condition- The interior is in very good condition! There are literally no blemishes or wear! Look at the pictures carefully and you will see how clean it is. All of the interior options work as they should including the a/c. The seats, headliner, dash, and carpets are all in near new condition. Engine and Drivetrain- The engine and transmission perform beautifully with no strange noises, vibrations, or leaks. The transmission shifts very smoothly as it should. Lots of power! Tire Condition- The tires are a matched set of Good Year Wranglers with approx. half tread depth remaining. Bid with confidence! You won't be disappointed! I am an independent dealer that takes pride in my inventory and specializes in diesel and hybrid vehicles. If purchased within the State of Florida, appropriate tax and title fees will apply. I will be happy to assist the winning bidder with discounted vehicle transportation or airport pickup. |

2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee pricing leaks out
Thu, 24 Jan 2013With our deep dive and auto show coverage of the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee revealed at the Detroit Auto Show, we brought you as much information as Chrysler would allow us to, but one thing we're still left in the dark about was the pricing. It would seem that Jeep Garage might have the answer for that. The Jeep enthusiast forum claims to have gotten its hands on the ordering and pricing breakdown for the updated Grand Cherokee, and while a Jeep representative has yet to get back to us as to the validity of the site's claim, these preliminary numbers look pretty kosher to us.
In base form, the two-wheel-drive Laredo will reportedly start at $28,795, which is a $1,100 increase over the 2013 model year, and the new Grand Cherokee Summit trim level starts at $47,995 for 4x2 models and $50,995 for the 4x4. Waiting for the new diesel engine? The torquey new 3.0-liter oil-burner will be a $4,500 option on Limited, Overland and Summit 4x4 models, but 4x2 pricing (and availability) are not known. As for the range-topping Grand Cherokee SRT (no longer called the SRT8), this added performance could run you an extra $2,700 with a new starting price of $62,995. More importantly, loaded to the gills with all available options, the 2014 Grand Cherokee SRT will top out at around $72,400 - or around $6,000 more than a fully loaded 2013 GC SRT8.
We'll let you know if the gang over at Jeep get back to us with any confirmation, but until then, head over to Jeep Garage to see the pricing details it has listed.
Chrysler taking big risk snubbing NHTSA
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Maker Insists Feds Overstate Risk Of Fires With Grand Cherokee, Liberty Models
It's not often that recall stories make it above the fold, in that old newspaper parlance, but when one shows up as the lead story on the network evening news programs, you know it's something big.
And so it is with Chrysler snubbing its nose at a request by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to recall 2.7 million Jeeps the feds insist are at risk of potentially catastrophic fuel tank fires in a rear-end collision.
'84 MotorWeek Cherokee, Bronco and Blazer comparison indulges your SUV nostalgia
Fri, Jan 16 2015These days, truck-based, full-frame SUVs are somewhat of a rarity on the auto landscape due to the rapid rise in popularity of easier-driving, car-based crossovers. Although, without the gradually building popularity of these chunky, high-riding vehicles decades ago, it's unlikely that America's roads would be filled with so many CUVs today. In its latest dig into the archives, MotorWeek has found a 1984 comparison test of a trio of these early Sport Utility Wagons, as long-time host John Davis called them, that helped get acceptance of this segment going. This is a red, white and blue test of the SUVs from American automakers at the time and pits the Chevrolet Blazer, Ford Bronco and Jeep Cherokee (specifically in Wagoneer guise) against each other. Driving manners and interior usability are considered in the evaluation, but Motorweek actually takes these vehicles off road, too. Among the bigger revelations is the improvement in on-road ability in the past 30 years. While specific 0-60 times aren't given, all three models take around 10 seconds just to get to around 50 miles per hour in the 500-feet on-ramp acceleration test. Check out this clip to see just how far this segment has progressed in the past three decades or just get a blast of nostalgia from these now vintage models.
