2004 Jeep Liberty Limited Sport Utility 4-door 3.7l 4x4 on 2040-cars
Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, United States
For sale is a good used Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4. It has 112,500 miles. It has a scuff on the front passenger side fender flare, a scratch on the passenger door and a small scratch on the drivers door. It is 10 years old and the scratches can be buffed out or touch up paint will take care of them. This Jeep has the 3.7L engine with the 4 speed automatic transmission. I bought this jeep from a friend of mine that had owned it for a few years. The transmission started slipping and he didn't want to put the money into it. It has a used transmission with 55,000 miles on it. I have the documentation to verify this plus pics to show it came from a jeep that was hit in the side...not the front head on or rear. The transmission comes with a 1 year/12,000 miles warranty. It was professionally installed by my local transmission shop Wyoming Valley Transmissions here in PA. They flushed the trans cooler, put a new front seal in the trans since it was easily accessible, put a new filter in it along with synthetic transmission fluid. Transmission was installed 8/28/14 and mileage at that time was 112,320. I also put a new A/C Delco battery in it, Put 6 new NGK spark plugs in, just changed the oil with Valvoline Max Life synthetic blend oil. I have all the receipts to verify. The Jeep just passed the PA inspection and it good until 9/15. The brakes and rotors are almost new. The tires on it just passed inspection but it comes with 4 brand new snow tires. There is no rust on the rocker panels. The underneath is very clean. Interior is clean with minor marks on the back seat. It will come with a full tank of gas also. I recommend you come look at and test drive before bidding just so there are no surprises. I will sell it a few ways. If it sells for under $4,999 you get it as is. If it sells for $5,000 and up I will include a new passenger side fender flare plus have it professionally cleaned and detailed. You can call/text me at 570-902-9080 from 9am-10pm EST. Delivery is possible and details will be discussed over the phone or in person. |

Autotrader picks best cars for 2015's college grads
Sun, May 31 2015Summer is here and the school season is winding to a close. That means millions of students will be graduating college and (hopefully) entering the workforce. For many, that will mean buying a new car suited to the new stage in life into which they will now be embarking. That can be a bewildering choice, especially for someone who's never bought a car before. Fortunately, Autotrader has come up with a short list of recommended cars – new and used – which it recommends to the graduating class of 2015. Among the site's top choices are some compelling crossovers and hatchbacks, including the Buick Encore, Chevy Trax, and Jeep Renegade, as well as the Honda Fit, Nissan Versa Note, Mazda3 and Fiat 500. Can't stretch to buying new, or don't see the point? Autotrader has also identified the Toyota Camry, Ford Fusion and even the Lexus IS as smart buys in the certified pre-owned category. "Any time someone goes through a major life change, such as graduating college, they need to determine if their current ride makes sense for their lifestyle, from both a financial and functional perspective," says Autotrader editor Brian Moody. "For example, while that hand-me-down SUV from your parents was nice when you turned 16, you may want to opt for a safer, more fuel-efficient car as you transition into the working world." Autotrader Names 10 Best Cars for Recent College Graduates ATLANTA, May 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- For many, graduating college is a milestone like no other – it represents a new chapter, a proud accomplishment and, fortunately or unfortunately, financial independence. Luckily for graduates who are in the market for a new car to suit their post-college lifestyle, Autotrader's expert editors say now is a great time to make a purchase, as dealerships are flush with affordable models that are fun, fuel-efficient and thoughtfully designed. MotorWeek reviews '83 American Motors lineup
Wed, Mar 18 2015The 30th anniversary of American Motors' 1987 sale to Chrysler by Renault is just a few years away. AMC is long dead, but for its latest peek in the archives, MotorWeek winds back the clock to somewhat happier times. Take a look at the entire AMC lineup from 1983, including its models from Jeep and Renault. The Jeeps, and to a lesser extent, the AMC Eagle, enjoy a cult following today, but it's amazing how many of these other vehicles are now practically forgotten. Even the big debut in '83 of the Renault Alliance is largely ignored. Although with a ludicrous amount of body roll and a 55-horsepower 1.4-liter engine, it's probably rightly buried. Chrysler delays 2014 Jeep Cherokee media launch
Tue, 30 Jul 2013Chrysler is making the unusual move of delaying the first media drives of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, which were slated to start next week in Seattle. And while something like this is a rare occurrence, and one that most of the Autoblog staff can't recall happening this publicly or so close to the event itself, it won't effect the actual on-sale date of the new Cherokee, which is set to hit showrooms in September.
"Over the last couple of weeks during final quality and durability testing, we have discovered the opportunity to further improve powertrain calibration," Chrysler told Automotive News. This marks the second notable delay in the Cherokee's short life, after production was delayed for roughly a month earlier this summer.
Still, we'd rather Chrysler make sure the Cherokee is ready for primetime before flying media in from around the country. It shows a willingness to get things right the first time, rather than offering media drives and then tweaking the car after the fact.
