I have this 02 liberty for sale. here is the story, I bought it with an engine that had failed. I replaced the engine with another good used engine that was in a 2002 dodge ram, It ran really well!
The total repair with labor and the parts truck was about $2800
The liberty runs great now and drive nice!
2 new rear tires, new a/c compressor.
I have a huge list of things from prior owner
The liberty is sold "AS IS" Keep in mind it is 11 yrs old, and will have some imperfections... i tried to note what I know about it.
I make sure the shop fixes anything and everything, then I will drive it for a few weeks to be sure its in good working order.
I am willing to work with a seller on a pick up date... I accept cash or certified bank check.. i may consider pay pal if you want to pay any fees involved.

Only flaws known to me:
One rust bubble on RF lower door corner
One small rust spot in front of LR tire on rocker panel under door.
FL rim as a dent/ crack on edge but very small.
The Air bag light comes on sometimes

Chrysler accelerates Jeep recall repairs from 2018 to March

You may remember that Jeep's unusual fix for this recall involves fitting a trailer hitch.
The recall of about 1.5 million models of the 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty and 1993-1998 Grand Cherokee over fuel tanks may finish far sooner than originally estimated. In a new filing from Jeep's parent, Chrysler Group, with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the company says that it can complete the repairs for the affected vehicles by March 2015, much sooner than the previous estimate of sometime in 2018. Jeep predicts the total cost of the campaign will be around $151 million.
Jeep's new Chip Away commercial has us hunting Al Pacino's back catalog
Tue, 19 Feb 2013Chrysler has done a pretty good job as of late turning its television commercials into pep talks or rallying cries, but for its first ad for the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it turned to Al Pacino's inspirational speech from the movie Any Given Sunday. In the movie, Pacino's character talks about how football is a game of inches, but the commercial, titled Chip Away, focuses more on the attention to detail that Jeep has exhibited on its updated flagship SUV.
Centering around the newest Grand Cherokee model, the luxurious $47,995 Summit trim level, the commercial shows off some of the hand-stitched leathers and real metal and wood accents found inside the cabin. Check out the new 60-second spot by scrolling below.
Jeep first American carmaker to return to Tokyo show
Sat, May 23 2015Despite foreign-brand car sales in Japan declining six percent in the first four months of this year, Jeep sales are up 21 percent in the same period. That could explain why Jeep will be the first the US manufacturer to return to the Tokyo Motor Show after eight years away. Ford, General Motors, and Chrysler walked away during the global crisis that struck after the 2007 show. Jeep will be part of an eight-vehicle, four-brand showcase overseen by Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Japan, the local subsidiary. For the moment, it is the only US brand to sign up - neither Ford, GM, or even Chrysler are committed to attend. Stablemates Fiat, Alfa Romeo, and Abarth will be there, along with 13 other foreign makes, answering the "Technology & Fantasy" theme for this year's event. In total, organizers announced 15 brands from 14 Japanese manufacturers, and 27 brands from 17 foreign carmakers. The show opens to the public from Oct. 30 to Nov. 8. Related Video:
