Moving, Must Sell the Jeep! 5.7L HEMI BLACK INTERIOR This Jeep is equipped with every option you want and screams LUXURY. Garage-kept, never smoked in, NAV, beautiful charcoal pearl with black interior. We're moving, so we're forced to sell this awesome Jeep. I planned on keeping this Jeep for the long term, so I purchased the MOPAR MAX Care 7/100,000 WARRANTY which is fully transferrable to the next owner. You are basically covered bumper-to-bumper for another 36,000 miles or until 5/2017. The warranty package INCLUDES ROADSIDE assistance. This Jeep is TRAIL RATED, 5.7L HEMI is tough and smart with ADAPTIVE CRUISE CONTROL and front/rear COLLISION AVOIDANCE systems. Rear passengers enjoy their own aux power and A/V inputs and ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM which allows for full control of DVD, stereo and 40GB of hard drive music files. Super comfortable with heated steering wheel, AND heated and COOLED seats. The interior is impeccable and protected with WeatherTech DigitalFit floor liners in front, back, and even in cargo area. If you know the new Jeeps, you know about the QUADRA-LIFT air suspension system this Jeep has. It allows you to lift the Jeep 2.6 inches or lower 1.5 inches with a touch of a button. At highway speeds the Jeep even lowers itself automatically a half-inch to get you better fuel economy. If you take it off-road, you enjoy up to 10.7 inches of fully adjustable ground clearance. This Jeep has never been off paved roads, but the Jeep is equipped to the gills for snow, sand, mud, rock-crawling, or towing 7,500lbs with the extreme tow package. Look no further, this Jeep has it all.
I am
including a close up of the driver’s door panel in one of the photos to show a
recently acquired scratch which has been touched-up, polished, and sealed.
Other than that, paint is great. Local
buyers can visit the car in Montreal, or I am happy to meet serious buyers in
nearby Plattsburgh NY or Burlington VT. I am also willing to sell to Canadian
buyers. The car is currently licensed
and registered in Tampa, with clean Florida paper title. I challenge you to find a more fully equipped 2011 Jeep for this price anywhere! |

'84 MotorWeek Cherokee, Bronco and Blazer comparison indulges your SUV nostalgia
Fri, Jan 16 2015These days, truck-based, full-frame SUVs are somewhat of a rarity on the auto landscape due to the rapid rise in popularity of easier-driving, car-based crossovers. Although, without the gradually building popularity of these chunky, high-riding vehicles decades ago, it's unlikely that America's roads would be filled with so many CUVs today. In its latest dig into the archives, MotorWeek has found a 1984 comparison test of a trio of these early Sport Utility Wagons, as long-time host John Davis called them, that helped get acceptance of this segment going. This is a red, white and blue test of the SUVs from American automakers at the time and pits the Chevrolet Blazer, Ford Bronco and Jeep Cherokee (specifically in Wagoneer guise) against each other. Driving manners and interior usability are considered in the evaluation, but Motorweek actually takes these vehicles off road, too. Among the bigger revelations is the improvement in on-road ability in the past 30 years. While specific 0-60 times aren't given, all three models take around 10 seconds just to get to around 50 miles per hour in the 500-feet on-ramp acceleration test. Check out this clip to see just how far this segment has progressed in the past three decades or just get a blast of nostalgia from these now vintage models. Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT gets power increase, minor tweaks for 2015
Tue, 02 Sep 2014As a brand within Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, SRT may have an uncertain future, but it's pumping out some seriously mean machines anyway. The supercharged Hellcat V8 may be gobbling up most of the headlines with its 707 horsepower, but even the Grand Cherokee SRT is getting some small updates for the 2015 model year.
Most importantly for many enthusiasts, the Grand Cherokee SRT is getting a slight power bump. Don't expect the 700+ hp from the Hellcat, but this SUV sees a modest 5-hp and 5-pound-feet of torque improvement to bring output to 475 hp and 470 lb-ft for its 6.4-liter V8 with an eight-speed automatic. The minor change doesn't change the sprint to 60 miles per hour, clocking in at the same 4.8 seconds, or the tow rating at 7,200 pounds. Still, more grunt is never a bad idea.
Another new addition is the Active Noise Canceling system as a standard feature for this powerful SUV. It adds four microphones around the vehicle and uses the stereo system to nullify extraneous sound. However, Jeep claims that the meaty exhaust note from the V8 still gets through into the cabin for driver enjoyment.
Jeep Twitter account hacked, bad language, poor grammar and some hilarity ensue
Tue, 19 Feb 2013Just a day after Burger King's Twitter account was compromised by "unauthorized users," Jeep's social media feed has been similarly hacked. Both instances of digital incursion share some similarities - the BK hackers changed the company's logo for McDonald's familiar golden arches, saying a sale had occurred, while the Jeep miscreants have replaced Jeep's branding with that of General Motors property Cadillac.
The resulting tweets from the damaged Jeep account have been a pretty brutal, to put it bluntly. Most of the content coming from the hacked account is unpublishable here, using language that is peppered with racial epithets, and poorly worded "shout outs."
In addition to the defamatory tweets themselves, the hackers have significantly altered the layout of the page. Jeep's header image now features a picture of the Cadillac ATS to go along with the Wreath and Crest, some language calling out that car as winning the 2013 North American Car of the Year award, and this gem: "The official Twitter handle for the Jeep(R) - Just Empty Every Pocket, Sold To Cadillac =[" Also, perhaps in an ode to yesterday's Burger King heist, the background image for the page now features a McDonald's-themed donk. The devil's in the details, we guess.
