2006 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE SRT8
Condition: In amazing condition in and out. I am confident enough to say its near showroom condition. The pictures show it in snow, it has never been winter driven up until a few months ago and even then I have only driven it a few times a week and keep it clean constantly. Winter stored every previous year. No rust, no corrosion, nothing. I don't know what else to say condition wise.....please feel free to ask if you have any questions.
Mechanical: I have installed a brand new battery as it was using the original and it was time for an update. Also had it in at Jeep Dodge Chrysler to get any outstanding recalls or computer updates done. Starts perfect, runs perfect, shifts perfect, drives perfect. Will have a Governement safety inspection done before it is sold, any repairs needed will be covered at my cost. ALSO, i'll be throwing in an extra set of tires to go along with the sale.
Features: Fully loaded to the top. Power seats, power moonroof, power windows etc. Heated seats. Navigation. Back up sensors.....it has every option that could possibly come with an SRT8 in 2006. I have added a 2way command start unit as I was planning to use it all year round but circumstances involving work require me to get a more practical vehicle.
History: Previously owned by the original owner since 06. He was a business owner and this was his baby. Clean history, zero accidents, zero issues whatsoever. I have only owned it a short while as I have explained things involving work have forced me to make necessary changes vehicle wise.
SHIPPING AND PAYMENT: I’m willing to pick you up from the Airport in Winnipeg Manitoba. Or Winnipeg is only an hour from the border but I am willing to deliver the vehicle in person to Emerson which is the town nearest to the Canadian/USA border located just north of Pembina, north Dakota if you are a USA buyer. Or I can aid with shipping the vehicle to where ever you are located, shipping will NOT be free and must be covered at buyers expense before the vehicle has been shipped. I can get discounted shipping to save you some money. Deposits are non-refundable (not looking to deal with time wasters, only bid if you have or can get the necessary funds to purchase this vehicle). The remainder of the balance is due within 7 days of the auction end. I reserve the right to cancel the auction early as the vehicle is for sale locally as well. Thank you for viewing my ad and good luck!

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles: The next five years
Tue, 06 May 2014Unless you've been living under a rock for the past 24 hours, you've no doubt read about all of the big future product news coming out of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles today. We had individual brand reports from Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Maserati and even Ferrari, but in the interest of simplifying and summarizing, we're going to list out the hard facts once more. Of course, with all of this still off in the future, there's still the possibility that a few changes will be made. But as of what we know right now, here's what's coming, and what's going away.

Next Jeep Wrangler spotted with 8-speed and EcoDiesel
Tue, Jun 21 2016Although it may not look like it, there are big changes coming to the next-generation Wrangler. The 2018 model will use aluminum for weight savings, spawn a pickup version, and offer new engines. This latest set of spy images brings confirmation of two new powertrain items. The spy photos below show a Wrangler mule with the current interior and an eight-speed automatic shifter fitted in place of the old five-speed unit. (There's a comparison photo in the gallery.) The shifter design matches that of the refreshed Dodge Charger and Challenger; the final Jeep version is likely to differ, but this clearly indicates what kind of transmission is underneath. Chrysler builds eight-speed automatics from a ZF design and also uses some transmissions built by ZF. View 4 Photos While it's not visible in the photos, the unmistakable sound of a diesel was heard coming from this Jeep. The EcoDiesel V6 is expected to be available alongside a new turbocharged four-cylinder engine that is rumored to have the code name "Hurricane." The turbo four may completely replace the current gas V6 or be offered in addition. There's a good chance the eight-speed will also be paired with the Hurricane engine, since improved fuel economy is a goal for the new model across the board. We don't yet know whether a manual transmission will be offered again, but it's a pretty good bet for one of the gas engines since many diehard off-roaders prefer the ultimate control. Jeep CEO a fan of pickup redux
Tue, Mar 10 2015The idea of a Jeep pickup is a hardly a new concept. After all, putting a bed on the company's rugged off-roaders goes back to the '40s, not to mention the more recent Cherokee-based Comanche. There's a very slim chance that a truck could return to the lineup down the line if brand CEO Mike Manley gets his wish. "I remain a big fan of a Jeep pickup. I think we have history that says it belongs in our portfolio," Manley said to The Detroit News. However, there's no need to get any hopes up soon, because a truck doesn't get any mention in the brand's five-year plan. That puts the earliest possible introduction around 2019. Even Manley is tempering expectations. "At this moment and time, I have higher priorities. That doesn't mean to say that we don't work on it, we're not looking at it," he said to The Detroit News. The most likely candidate to support a future Jeep truck is the next-gen Wrangler, according to The News. The rest of FCA's pickups and SUVs are running at capacity, which makes slipping in another variant difficult. However, the future Wrangler is heavily rumored to get an expanded production facility in Toledo, OH, which could make things possible. Anonymous FCA insiders confirmed to Autoblog that the next-gen Wrangler would be offered with a 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 and eight-speed automatic. It's also reportedly using solid axles at the front and rear, a fixed windshield and an aluminum body. That could make for a very fun and practical off-roader. If reading all of this speculation gives you a twinge of deja vu, it should. After the Jeep Gladiator concept (pictured above), there were years of speculation about the brand bringing the pickup back. Even then the plan was for a compact truck to tackle that hole in the segment. It was even believed that the project had a green light for production seemingly with Sergio Marchionne's blessing. Then things were pushed back, and last year, the idea was officially quashed. Related Video:
