For sale is a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland with the quadratrac four wheel drive system, leather/suede and wood interior, Infiniti Gold stereo with 10-disc cd, 17in chrome rims, 4.7h.o v8, and up-country suspension package. I purchased this vehicle from Maryland about 3 years ago so there is no rust on this vehicle and it is very clean inside and out. The Jeep has 159k on it, but I've run Mobile 1 full synthetic oil since I've owned it and it runs great with no problems.
I had the transmission professionally rebuilt by Utica Hydromatic back in 2010 and have the receipt to prove it as well (cost $2200 with upgrades to known weak points in original transmission).
Also, the jeep has tinted windows (professionally done by Glass Business), newer dark background headlights with DDM Tuning 6000K HID headlights which are great at night and look good too, an AFE cold air intake (stock intake will come with vehicle as well), a Flowmaster 50 series delta flow muffler, and many recently replaced/upgraded parts which I have all the receipts for, including:
all new ceramic brake pads and rotors front and rear with warranty,
new rear brake calipers
new DieHard battery as of Dec 2012
just had an alignment May of 2012
upgraded blend doors for heat
heater core replaced
oil was just changed with Mobil 1 10w30 high mileage full synthetic (used since I've owned it)
new radiator
new power steering pump and pulley
new serpentine belt and belt tensioner
Rancho 2.0 series heavy duty steering stabilizer (improved steering especially on rough roads)
replaced O2 sensors
new IAC valve and new oil pressure switch
rear control arms and center ball joint/arm replaced with new bushings
new pitman-arm end with ball joint and new tie-rod end
new charcoal canister and replaced any evap hoses that looked questionable.
Anything this vehicle ever needed I replaced, and it has been taken very good care of! (This Jeep is my baby!) Vehicle was garage kept and always washed and waxed. Interior is also in excellent shape, was always cleaned and never abused (no kids or pets were ever in this vehicle). There is minor damage to the left rear of the vehicle and the bumper cover has some cracks in it due to an incident I had backing down a steep driveway last winter that was all ice and I couldn't stop, however, the tailgate, lights, and everything else still work the way they should, I just never had the chance to get around to fixing it but it is only cosmetic damage. The vehicle still drives great and is amazing in the winter! Feel free to email or contact by phone (315-272-9742)

Gilles defends 2014 Jeep Cherokee design as "very contemporary"
Thu, 28 Feb 2013Following the forced-hand introduction of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee, there has definitely been a mix of responses revolving around everything from its design to the return of the legendary nameplate. As evidence of this, just check out the 1,000+ comments in our article last week and some of the many opinions that were voiced. Following this not-too-warm reception, Ward's Auto had a chance to talk to Chrysler designer chief - and SRT president - Ralph Gilles, who shed a little more light on the styling direction of the new Cherokee.
Rather than looking to previous models for inspiration, Gilles says that the Cherokee has been designed to be more contemporary, with Mark Allen, head of Jeep design, adding that a main goal was to make sure the design still looks modern five years from now. Interestingly, Gilles does point out that one of the design elements incorporated on the new Cherokee that pays homage to past Jeeps is the sharply downward angle for the leading edge of the beltline, which he notes is meant to mimic the look of the old YJ and TJ Wrangler models fitted with half doors. Of course, the squared-off wheel openings - a signature Jeep cue - are still used.
This is probably a design that will need to be seen on the street in actual daylight to properly assess, but in the meantime, we'll bring you full images and impressions when the Cherokee debuts at next month's New York Auto Show.
Marchionne: Midsize pickup still not in the cards; Ram 1500, Jeep Wrangler could use aluminum
Wed, 07 May 2014During the Fiat-Chrysler briefings on Tuesday, Reid Bigland, head of Ram Trucks, outlined the new product plans for his brand, including confirmation that an all-new light-duty Ram 1500 will launch in 2017. From there, discussions spun off in two directions, with the main questions being: will Ram build a midsize pickup? And, following Ford's move to extensively use aluminum in its new 2015 F-150, will Chrysler be using this weight-saving material for the next round of its fullsize truck, as well?
"I think there is room for a Ram 1000," Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne (pictured above) told members of the media, saying this is a conversation the automaker has been having internally for several years now. "We've tried this ... we've actually taken it to clinics," Marchionne stated, adding that the "response has been lukewarm."

Work at a Chrysler dealership, get free college education
Mon, May 4 2015The cost of a college education in the US can put a student tens (hundreds, in some cases) of thousands of dollars into debt. FCA US wants to give its dealership employees a leg up, though, and the automaker is now offering a completely free education to them through a partnership with Strayer University. The workers can take any of the college's classes online or on campus through program called Degrees@Work. Currently, the offer is only available to employees Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and Fiat dealers in the automaker's Southeast region, which includes Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama and Tennessee. However, a national expansion will happen before the end of the year, Strayer spokesperson Cristina Henley tells Autoblog. The program will cover all of the students' expenses, including their books, according to Henley. FCA US sees this partnership as a way to improve the talent of its workforce, retain employees longer and possibly attract people wanting to take advantage of this free education. "Many of our dealers have expressed concern over the availability of talent to fill open positions due to business growth and turnover in their stores, especially in metro markets," Al Gardner, the company's Head of Dealer Network Development, said in the Degrees@Work announcement. Strayer has about 40 programs available, including in business administration, accounting, marketing, and more, and the university offers associate's, bachelor's, and master's degrees. It will also give FCA US employees credit for their work experience to get them a diploma even more quickly. FCA US Dealers to Offer Employees No-Cost, No-Debt College Education FCA US teams with Strayer University to develop first-of-its-kind dealer program Degrees@Work program open to all employees of participating dealerships Employees can earn no-cost, no-debt degree through Strayer University All Chrysler, Jeep®, Dodge, Ram and FIAT dealerships may participate First phase of program rollout begins with dealers in the FCA US Southeast Business Center National rollout expected later this year May 4, 2015 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - Employees of Chrysler, JeepĀ®, Dodge, Ram and FIAT dealerships will have the unique opportunity to earn a no-cost, no-debt college degree through Strayer University's Degrees@Work program, developed in collaboration with FCA US LLC. FCA US is the only company in the automotive industry to offer the program.
