Up for auction is my 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4, automatic trans., Quadra drive, 4.7L V8, 144K pampered miles, meticulously maintained, lady owned and driven, clean CARFAX. NEEDS NOTHING! Starts, runs, drives and handles excellent! 4 wheel drive works perfectly. Very reliable and dependable Jeep! Power everything and everything works as it should. No engine/dash lights on, no bad habits, unusual noises, doesn't use oil or smoke. I have all the documentation from the day I bought it, including receipts for repairs, maintenance, parts, labor, upgrades, etc. to prove it's been VERY well maintained and any needed repairs were completed properly/promptly! This write-up may be lengthy, but I want to include as much information as I possibly can so that any potential buyers are well informed about this great Jeep! Stock height, never lifted, never been wheeled or abused in any way. If you live relatively close, by all means bring your mechanic and have him inspect it, I'm sure he'll agree that this is a very good investment. The only reason I'm selling this is because I lost my job and can't afford 2 vehicles. I know I'm going to kick myself when the snow starts flying this winter...

Includes 2 extra sets of all terrain tires, 4 - BFG All-Terrain T/As and 4 - Falken Rocky Mountain ATs, each set has at least 95% tread remaining. I just put on the summer tires, Cooper Discoverer HTPs, which also have excellent tread life remaining (90 - 95%).
I have the CLEAN CARFAX for it, along with the clear, green Michigan title in hand. I may be asking a little more than some other GC Limiteds, but I feel that having complete maintenance records and an HONEST seller should account for something. It also helps to know that I have done a lot of work on this Jeep so that the next owner can have peace of mind and be assured that the vehicle they're buying will be an excellent vehicle for years to come.
I have receipts totaling $14,955.05 worth of parts, service, maintenance, upgrades, etc. for the last year and a half. Wow! Until I actually added everything up it didn't seem like it's been that much, but I am very fussy when it comes to my vehicles and believe "you get what you pay for". I'm probably missing some things, but there are so many receipts and so much paperwork to go through. . .the new owner will receive ALL of the paperwork and receipts, service manual, CARFAX, etc.
The following is the list of things that have been done since I've owned it. Amount paid and date completed follow the part/service. . .. . .there are a lot of dealership parts and completed repairs included in this list also.

If you should want more pictures of specific areas/things, feel free to ask and I'll send via email/text. Better yet, come and see it in person, you won't be disappointed. As this is a used, 13 year old vehicle, it does have a couple of SLIGHT imperfections, but nothing that is any kind of real eyesore. The side of the driver seat has a little "cracking" in the material but is not cut all the way through. There are inexpensive kits that repair vinyl, $15-$20, just haven't had the time to do it yet and it really hasn't bothered me enough to do it. I've added a couple of pics of the body imperfections...front bumper on the passenger side (looks bigger than it actually is, close up shot) and rear passenger door has a streak of white paint on it, will easily wheel/buff out. I'm sure it wouldn't take a lot of work, but I'm not a body person, so haven't attempted it. The rockers are a little rusty underneath, my guy where I used to live was going to repair/paint them for $200 for both sides, but I recently moved so the new owner can take care of that if wanted.
For more information or if you should have any questions before bidding, please reply by email through eBay. Please bid with confidence, I don't sell junk, I've got 100% positive feedback for a reason. I've also got the Jeep for sale locally, so I reserve the right to cancel this auction if it sells locally. I plan on having the motor detailed (done), Meguiars wax job on the exterior (although it shines very nicely without it) and the interior cleaned more thoroughly before the new owner takes possession. Winning bidder will be responsible for any/all shipping charges if you need it shipped. Also, those of you who like to take "man's best friend" with you, I will include the barrier, the back seat protector and the dog bed for FREE. The barrier keeps my 85lb. Husky in the back...this is a VERY sturdy built barrier, not one of the cheapies from the pet stores. Thank you for looking!

During the Fiat-Chrysler briefings on Tuesday, Reid Bigland, head of Ram Trucks, outlined the new product plans for his brand, including confirmation that an all-new light-duty Ram 1500 will launch in 2017. From there, discussions spun off in two directions, with the main questions being: will Ram build a midsize pickup? And, following Ford's move to extensively use aluminum in its new 2015 F-150, will Chrysler be using this weight-saving material for the next round of its fullsize truck, as well?
"I think there is room for a Ram 1000," Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne (pictured above) told members of the media, saying this is a conversation the automaker has been having internally for several years now. "We've tried this ... we've actually taken it to clinics," Marchionne stated, adding that the "response has been lukewarm."

Perhaps more than any other vehicle currently for sale in the United States, the Jeep Wrangler is viewed by purist fans as a vehicle that simply must maintain the status quo. In this case, that means a body-on-frame design, solid axles, a relatively large engine sitting up front and a removable top. It's always been that way, and it always will be.
Maybe.
According to the most recent reports, the next-generation Jeep will continue to soldier forth with a full steel chassis underneath its stamped bodywork. The biggest change, reports Automotive News, will be that said panels will be hewn from aluminum instead of steel, a seismic shift of a transition not unlike what's happened with the new Ford F-150. Because it won't be a unibody, the SUV will likely continue to be assembled in Toledo, OH as it (almost) always has been - the latter has been a source of heartburn in recent weeks for the Northwestern city in the Buckeye State.

Chrysler is recalling nearly 350,000 cars and SUVs to fix ignition switches that could unexpectedly shut off the engines. The recall covers 2008 Jeep Commander and Grand Cherokee SUVs, Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger sedans, and Dodge Magnum wagons. All were built before May 12, 2008. Chrysler says the ignitions may not fully return to the "on" position after being started. The switches could move to "accessory" or "off." That could shut off the engine and knock out power-assisted steering and other features. Chrysler knows of one crash and no injuries from the problem. It's telling people to use the key alone in the ignition and confirm that switches have returned to "on" after starting their cars. Chrysler is investigating the cause. Customers will be notified when repairs are ready. Related Gallery The Trucks And SUVs Consumers Are Liking Most View 11 Photos
