Condition: Positives: No accidents. This Jeep starts right up and can be driven away. The exterior of the vehicle is in very good shape without rust. The interior also is in very good shape.
Brought to mechanic due to grinding sound and he identified following issues: rear differential needed to be replaced, front tie rod and sleeves need to be replaced, also needs one new tire. Other issues with vehicle include the following: power window in back seat on drivers side doesn't work, back lift gate opens but has to be physically held up due to broken bolt, has minor scratches. Small dent on passenger side has been pulled out but needs paint touch up.
History: I bought the car from dealer with 46,000 miles August 2005. Vehicle currently has 205,000 miles. The transmission was replaced on the vehicle around 120,000 miles.

I remember having to get out and lock hubs and shift into neutral to engage low range.
Coming off press previews of the 2013 Land Rover Range Rover and the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee that involved some heavy-duty off-road rock climbing, I'm simply amazed at the capabilities that these vehicles possess. But even more impressive (or troubling depending on your perspective) is the relative ease with which you can operate these vehicles in seemingly impossible terrain.
2015 Ford F-150 named Truck of Texas, Lincoln and Jeep also awarded at Truck Rodeo
Tue, 14 Oct 2014The Ford Motor Company has a lot of reasons to celebrate after winning eight categories in this year's Texas Auto Writers Association's annual Truck Rodeo. Most important among them, the Blue Oval's latest 2015 Ford F-150 earned the prestigious Truck of Texas award, ending the Ram 1500's two-year winning streak. The 2015 Lincoln MKC also grabbed the honor as the CUV of Texas, and Ford was named Truck Line of Texas.
FoMoCo even took trophies for best technology with its extensive use of aluminum on its latest F-Series and best commercial vehicle for the new Transit 250. It wasn't a total sweep, though, because the Jeep Grand Cherokee grabbed the title of the SUV of Texas for the fifth straight time.
This year's event put 60 auto writers in 75 pickups, SUVs and crossovers and challenged them to find the best in a plethora of categories. All of the winners are listed below, and scroll down to read the full announcements from the Texas Auto Writers Association and Ford.
