"This vehicle is located in Sulphur Springs Texas, and was bought brand new by my wife and I. We did however transfer the title over to our parents, who have continued driving this Jeep the past few years. We do know everything about this Jeep and everywhere it's been included services rendered, tires, and general maintenance, ever since it rolled off of the showroom floor when we bought it. It has been garaged 99% of it's life. It is in great shape for being over 195,000 miles being maintained by mature drivers. The title is, of course, in hand by my parents, but we did however decide to obtain a newer Jeep for them, to replace this one we've had in the family for years. They make regular 2 hour trips to the doctor, and even though this Jeep runs great, we felt safer placing them in a newer model with lower miles. This 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee does have very minor scratches, and very few imperfections. Especially given it's high mileage. The cold air conditioning, heater, cd player, radio, cruise, power windows and doors, etc., do all work just fine. This will continue to be a dependable vehicle for whoever buys it. You may email with any questions that you may have. WE HAVE LISTED THIS VEHICLE ELSEWHERE ALSO. THEREFORE WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THIS VEHICLE IS STILL AVAILABLE."

From Maseratis to rental cars | Autoblog Podcast #511
Fri, Apr 7 2017On this week's podcast, Mike Austin and David Gluckman are in a huddle room (again), because the studio was already taken (again). We talk about the all-wheel-drive Dodge Challenger GT (again), as well as the Jeep Wrangler, Maserati Levante, Miata RF (again), and then David waxes poetic on mediocre rental cars (or similar). The episode wraps up with the traditional doling out of Spend My Money buying advice, with some input from an S2000 owner on advice discussed last time. The rundown is below. Remember, if you have a car-related question you'd like us to answer or you want buying advice of your very own, send a message or a voice memo to podcast at autoblog dot com. (If you record audio of a question with your phone and get it to us, you could hear your very own voice on the podcast. Neat, right?) And if you have other questions or comments, please send those too. 2014 Jeep Cherokee
Thu, 19 Sep 2013The Cherokee Is Dead. Long Live The Cherokee.
There are three sentences that, for this reviewer, define what needs to be conveyed about the 2014 Jeep Cherokee. The first: it is very good.
Jeep spent 27 years building the Cherokee and its brand, from 1974 to 2001. Twelve years ago, the Cherokee nameplate rolled away into the distant hills and retirement, at least here in the NAFTA colonies, and it was replaced by a loaded word we knew as "Liberty."
Jeep Renegade pricing to start at $18,595?
Fri, 14 Mar 2014While there's no shortage of excitement surrounding the new Jeep Renegade, one of the limiting factors to the little trucklet will be its price. With the Kia Soul starting at $14,900 and the Nissan Juke kicking off at $18,990, the Renegade can't afford to stray away from that price bracket.
And judging by some potentially leaked pricing info, it won't. A quick Google search of "Jeep Renegade Price" reveals (at least for now) that the Italian-built Jeep will start at $18,595. The "as shown" price of $25,895 seems to indicate the Trailhawk model shown on Jeep's consumer page.
If the $18,595 figure is correct, it's likely for the base, two-wheel-drive Sport model, with the Latitude and Limited trims falling somewhere between there and the $25,895 as-equipped price of the Trailhawk.
