Here is my Jeep Comanche that I bought to turn into an awesome off road rock crawler. It has been waiting behind my shop for about 3 years, so now its time to let some one else have a turn. It only has 87k on the odometer, and I believe it to be correct.
Clean title in hand. These are very rare in our area. There is one other on Ebay, and it has 193,000 miles. This one is very reliable. It can sit for a month and start right up. It does not smoke or leak any fluids. Transfer case shifts easily from 2 to 4wd, and from high to low range. Its pretty low geared, and would make a great off road rig. Powerful and nearly bullet proof 4.0 straight six, with a gas sipping five speed trans. that shifts like butter. No whining or grinding, and it does not pop out of any gear. ( I love the pistol grip shift handle) Clutch engages smooth and solid with no chattering. This Comanche is definitely not the prettiest outside, but its real nice inside, with great door panels and dash. I was going to paint it quakey camo. Body is very solid. Aftermarket shocks all around. A new in tank fuel pump was installed when I bought it. Inside the bed is not all beat up or rusty, and the tailgate closes well. Very low reserve. 2014 Jeep Cherokee flaunts its new contemporary curves

Only slightly more than one month ago, undisguised (and less-than-flattering) shots of the all-new 2014 Jeep Cherokee were leaked online. Later that day, in an effort to suppress the uprising, Jeep countered with its own official photography offering us much clearer front and three-quarter views. We've been left to digest those pictures for weeks.
Now, mere hours before the fabric comes sliding off its newest mid-size sport-utility at its live reveal at the New York Auto Show, Jeep has released dozens of new images showing all four corners, plus a few interior shots, of its new Cherokee.
NHTSA investigating 630k Jeep Wranglers for possible airbag fault
Wed, Jun 24 2015The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is opening a preliminary evaluation into a possible wiring problem on some 2007-2012 Jeep Wrangler models that could affect airbag deployment. The government agency has 221 complaints alleging that the airbag warning light is illuminating, and that could indicate that the safety devices might not deploy in a crash. If a recall is necessary, an estimated 630,000 vehicles could be affected. According to the documents from NHTSA (as a PDF here), a "faulty clockspring assembly in the driver side airbag electrical circuit" could be the culprit. Also, some of the affected Wranglers are showing a fault code that indicates the safety device wouldn't deploy in an accident. However at this time, there are no reports of injuries related to this potential problem. NHTSA's preliminary evaluations are simply meant to investigate and don't necessarily lead to a recall. This isn't the first time for a potential problem like this on the Wrangler, though. A clockspring issue already led to a safety campaign for 2008-2012 right-hand drive Wranglers and an extended warranty for 2007 left-hand drive examples. Jeep lays out 5-year plan, including rebirth of Grand Wagoneer and new C-segment offering
Tue, 06 May 2014Fiat Chrysler CEO Sergio Machionne presented a five-year plan for the company brands this morning, with Jeep first up on a long day of presentation. Jeep's head honcho Michael Manley wasted no time in laying out what the foreseeable future will look like for what he calls the "lead global brand" of the company.
Big goals for the next half-decade will include expanding the lineup from five nameplates built in one country, to six nameplates build in six countries. That expansion of models will include both a three-row competitor, and, of course, a small vehicle to slot below Cherokee. The company is also seeking to add a whopping 1,300 dealers over the next few years, to sell all this new metal, and has an aggressive goal of doubling Jeep sales by the time 2018 rolls around.
As expected, that first salvo from the off-road brand will be the debut of the much ballyhooed Renegade small crossover in the third quarter of this year. Jeep has already designated that Renegade will get refreshed for the 2017 model year, as well.
