The 4.0L six cylinder engine purrs along without a miss or smoke. These engines are known for the long haul. Good oil pressure and no overheat. Alternator charging 14 volts. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly without hesitation or slipping. No problem with the four wheel drive. The brakes, suspension and steering are good. The New Jersey safety inspection just expired (see pic). No exhaust leaks.
The exterior is a glossy red. It is in good condition with the exception of the ding on the right front fender, a cracked right tail light and a surface rust spot on the left rear door (see pics). The windshield is crack and chip free. The lights are bright and clear. The tires have about 20% tread (see pic).
The interior is clean with no major problems. The seats have no holes, wear spots or rips. The power options such as side mirrors, windows, cruise control, locks, etc. work perfectly however the left rear door must be opened manually. The heat is hot and the AC blows cold. There is an after market Pioneer AM/FM/CD. It has a spare in the rear.
This is a nice low mile SUV for the year. It runs and drives with no mechanical issues and there are no indication of any impending problems. The winning bidder will be able to drive it home, with confidence, no matter where they live.

Jeep Renegade gets new duds courtesy of Mopar
Tue, Jan 13 2015In a uncommon move, Jeep has found itself with customized versions of a car we've become quite familiar seeing on auto show floors well before it's actual on-sale date. But that's okay – we're pretty fond of the little Renegade, and we're even more keen to get behind the wheel, something that's scheduled to take place in just a few weeks. The two Renegade models you see here have been blessed with bits and pieces from the Mopar parts catalog. These Jeep Performance Parts and Authentic Accessories will be made available to buyers of the Renegade who want to add some factory-backed custom flair to their rough-and-tumble baby crossovers, whether they plan to stay on the asphalt or head off the beaten path. Starting on the street, the Urban Jeep Renegade doesn't really have any major modifications, its factory-spec bike carrier, mirror caps, grille rings, taillamp surrounds and roof rails in Omaha Orange paint over an Anvil-color base serving more to make it stand out from the crowd than actually offer any additional capability. The interior of the Urban Renegade also gets Omaha Orange highlights to go along with Katzkin leather seats. On the dirtier side of the crossover equation, the Commando Green off-road Mopar-modded Renegade gets concept skid plate, prototype rock rails, rear valance and production roof rails provide some added protection and carrying capabilities. Jeep launches new ad with unreleased Michael Jackson track
Fri, 09 May 2014We've recently heard much about how Fiat-Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne plans to pump up the volume on Jeep sales, inaugurating new models and global dealerships. But that's the stuff outlined in five-year plans; right now, advertising and special editions are at the fore, and the late Michael Jackson, too. Jeep has begun airing two commercials to push its Altitude Editions, Call of Summer and Lovers of the Game, that feature the song "Love Never Felt So Good" from Jackson's upcoming album of new music.
A little more star power - and timely, too - comes from Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving. While Call of Summer features a few short shots of the former Rookie of the Year and two-time NBA All-Star, Lovers of the Game is all about his white Wrangler Altitude Edition and wrangling shots.
