I purchased new and drove on my mail route until 2007 at which time it became my backup vehicle I have driven less than 1000 miles since. The Post Office recently furnished my route with an LLV and I no longer need. I have sold my primary vehicle and now it is time to let this one go. When new I installed a extra cooling fan on the outside of the grill(no room inside)so I could keep the a/c going while servicing cluster boxes and not moving .It has a switch to flip when you need.I installed a class 3 trailer hitch with a 2" ball to pull a utility trailer.I removed the back of the left front seat(have it) to make pulling things from the rear easy.I hired a machine shop to make steel extenders to attach to the bottom of the seat to raise it to the level of the console and make a nice work table capable of holding two trays side by side.I added window rain guards. She has just under 100K miles.Oil changes every 5K miles and has 40psi pressure. This is a Factory Built Right Hand Drive and is Rear Wheel Drive.I live in Georgia where it seldom snows so I did not Need Four Wheel Drive. Don't have to worry about rust either. The paint is good.It has the 4.0 straight 6 cyl engine. It is in very good shape for it's age and purpose.I replaced the serpentine belt yesterday and drove to work today. It ran fine.It has a few nicks n scratches as to be expected. The headliner is sagging a little, the tires are close to replacing, the left rear pwr window isn't working, and the a/c is going to need a recharge because it has sat so long. I turned it on yesterday and it cycled on and off indicating a low Freon level. The a/c was working fine when I stopped driving. It has the usual Jeep oil leak mostly when it isn't being driven. All in all its in pretty good shape for it's age.She cost me 20500.00 new. I will except a non refundable deposit of 500.00 to paypal with the balance due in cash when you pickup and give you 14 days to complete the transaction. You are responsible for any shipping you might want done.

Auto critic calls out Corvette, Mustang and Cherokee faithful
Mon, 26 Aug 2013Most automotive purists fear change, but not without reason. Change, after all, did kill big-block V8s, along with most station wagons and manual transmissions. But change has also brought with it far more performance, safety and fuel economy - not to mention ridding the world of shag carpet interiors, bias-ply tires and those horrible motorized seatbelts of the early '90s.
By this time next year, the Chevy Corvette, Jeep Cherokee and next-generation Ford Mustang will all be on sale and will all, in some way, have angered or offended purists. To those critics, Mark Phelan of the Detroit Free Press is preemptively telling them to stop complaining - at least until they've all been driven. From the Corvette's square taillights and the Cherokee's radical nose to whatever pony car purists will harp on the 2015 Mustang for, Phelan's column points out the positives of automotive evolution and the negatives of staying the course for too long. That's fair enough, but do you think Phelan is on point, or all wet? Head on over to the Detroit Free Press to read his words, then have your say in Comments.
Texas student drives Barbie Jeep to school after DWI
Fri, Sep 4 2015A Texas college student who lost her license when she was charged with a DWI this spring found a creative way of getting around campus. Tara Monroe, 20, is a student at the University of Texas at Austin. She had her driver's license automatically suspended when she refused a breathalyzer test after leaving a Waka Flocka concert on March 4. He dad took her car away and left her with a bike. But that just wasn't classy enough for Monroe. "Riding a bike around campus sucks," she told MySA.com. "Like really sucks." She searched Craigslist to find an alternative and settled on a bright pink Fisher-Price Barbie Jeep Power Wheel toy to help lug her stuff around campus. She named it after the original owner, a little girl named Charlene. The unorthodox ride has turned Monroe into a minor celebrity. Pictures of her slowly making her way around campus in the toy car have been popping up on social media. "This is the best way I could have gotten my 15 minutes of fame," she said. "Basically, it was the best decision I've made in college, yet..." The Barbie Jeep has a 12-volt battery and only goes about five miles per hour. Monroe says she loves the attention she is getting from her immature hijinks. This incredibly detailed toy Jeep will set you back $2,300 [w/video]
Wed, Dec 30 2015When I was a kid, I desperately wanted one of those Power Wheels Ford-badged Big Foot impersonators. They were far cooler than my lousy, plastic Big Wheel trike. This 1/8-scale electric Jeep takes the Power Wheels idea to a fanatical level. For one, the Capo Racing Jeep is as true to the real Wrangler as is possible in a 1/8-scale vehicle. Everything works, from the three-speed automatic transmission to the transfer case to the locking differentials. It uses a body-on-frame design with a real, metal multi-link suspension. In the cabin, the seats recline and the instruments light up. It has to be one of the most remarkable miniatures we've ever laid eyes on. Of course, that all comes at a price. As our chums at Jalopnik point out, for $2,300 you could pick up a full-size Wrangler. It'd be battered, sure, but it'd be something you could take on actual roads. Check out the fully gallery of images and official details over on the Capo Racing website. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences.
