2000 Jeep Cherokee Limited 4x4 4.0l 6 Cylinder *like New* on 2040-cars
Smithville, Tennessee, United States
2000 Jeep Cherokee Limited 4x4. This jeep was a new car trade in at our local ford dealer. It is loaded with all power features, power driver seat, power mirrors, leather, cd player and much more. It has been well taken care of. Interior is in near perfect condition. Paint appears to be all original and is still in excellent condition, easily a 9 out of 10. Non smoker vehicle. Has 16" aftermarket Ion wheels and firestone tires that have 40-50% tread left. Everything works perfectly on this jeep, air is ice cold, all power windows, cruise and 4x4 engage and work fine. It is equipped with the inline 4.0 6 cylinder engine that is indestructible and typically run 500,000 miles without any major problems. Jeep only has 135,644 miles on it! It has an automatic transmission which shifts smooth as a new one. Never appears to have been taken off road, underside is as clean as the top side with no rust or mud anywhere. Only issues are a couple light scuffs on the rear bumper, a small tear in the side of driver seat and one place where the head liner is sagging above the driver seat, all shown in pics. No check engine lights or any other lights on in the dash. No leaks of ANY kind and I just had it serviced so you don't have to do anything but get in and drive it home. It has an aftermarket muffler that sounds good, but is a bit louder than stock. Bid with confidence as this is one of the nicest used jeeps I've ever had and it runs absolutely perfect. NEEDS NOTHING! Pictures tell the story and this one is as nice or nicer in person. Feel free to email me with any questions or if you'd like more pics or a video of the jeep running. |

Mopar teases four of 'nearly 20' SEMA Show concepts
Fri, Oct 23 2015Yesterday it was Chevrolet. Today, Mopar has dropped some SEMA knowledge, releasing a quartet of teaser images that give us some indication of what kind of cars, trucks, and crossovers Fiat, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram will be showing in Las Vegas. Like Chevy, Mopar's concepts utilize both production and concept accessories, although Fiat Chrysler has gone a bit more indepth on at least one of its concepts. Immediately, the most tantalizing teaser is the one shown above. Yes, that's the back of a Challenger, and aside from the bright orange accents on the gray body, you should take notice of the badge mounted on the spoiler – yes, that says "GT AWD." To be honest, such a vehicle wouldn't be a huge shock, as both the Challenger's LX platform-mates, the Dodge Charger and Chrysler 300, are offered with all-wheel-drive options. Still, adding such a vehicle to the production cycle would give Dodge a leg up on the rear-drive only Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro. Aside from that concept, FCA has also released teasers of a Ram-based concept, a 300-based concept, and what we're guessing is a Fiat 500X. We can't wait to see what the actual Fiat concept has to do with kiteboarding. As for the 300 and Ram, there's not a lot of hints on what sort of styling details they'll contain. The Chrysler has additional LED accents and what we're guessing is matte blue paint, while the Ram is based on a Hemi-powered 1500 with Rebel styling cues. This is just a very tiny sample of Mopar's final SEMA roster, which include "hundreds" of parts. There should also be a total of 20 vehicles covering all four former Chrysler Group brands, as well as Fiat. Naturally, we'll have plenty to report on each vehicle once the SEMA show kicks off in the next couple weeks.
Chrysler set to make $266M-investment into 8-speed transmission production
Wed, Dec 10 2014Chrysler will shortly make a significant $266-million investment into its Kokomo, IN transmission factory in a bid to expand production of its eight-speed automatic transmissions. The gearboxes, which are built under license from Germany's ZF Friedrichshafen, have been well received by customers and critics, and according to an SEC filing obtained by Automotive News, the transmissions will eventually find their way to all of Chrysler's rear-drive offerings (Viper and heavy-duty Ram models, aside). According to AN, a Chrysler spokesman says the investment has not been confirmed, but once it is, it'll mark the company's latest in a growing line of investments at the facility. Chrysler has poured $1.5 billion into Kokomo since 2009.
Freak accident during Jeep demonstration turns fatal
Mon, 20 May 2013A 20-year-old woman was killed in Edmonton, Canada on Satuday, reports CTV News, in a freak accident resulting from a rollover during a Jeep demonstration. As part of a fundraising enthusiast event called "Jeeps Go Topless," the driver of one Jeep Wrangler drove up and onto the top of the tire of another.
CTV reports that the owner of the topmost Jeep then switched the vehicle off, posed for pictures and then dismounted from his vehicle. His movement off of the Jeep apparently caused it to tip over, crushing a woman who was on top of an adjacent vehicle. Edmonton police are currently investigating more fully what caused the parking lot accident to occur. Scroll below to watch the CTV News video report about this tragic incident.
