She was 78 years old when she purchased this new in 1997 and was 95 when she passed away in February 2014. They took it to Florida from Indiana behind their RV 1 time and back and that was it. Then it only saw short trips around town. When the opportunity arose to purchase this I had to. I know how rare and hard it is to find these with NO miles like this and still original. It is a Cherokee with the 4.0L inline 6 Cylinder, 4x4 Automatic, Manual Transfer Case, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Cold A/C, Roof Rack, AM/FM Stereo, Power Mirrors, Delay Wipers, Rear Wiper, Dealer Tinted Windows. It Runs, Drives and Handles like a DREAM. It also is set up to be an RV TOAD (Four wheels down) towed behind a Motorhome. It has the Baseplates attached and electrical plug so you just hook on your Tow bar, plug it in and go. The paint glows just like it did when it was new. The truck is RUST FREE and Factory Original Paint. The tires, brakes, battery & hatch support arms have very few miles since they were replaced. Have receipts to go along with this. The Interior is like it was in 1997 except 1 scuff on the top of the back seat and a little dirt on drivers floor carpet. NEVER SMOKED IN and lighter/ashtray never used. The rear cargo area had a piece of carpet in it so it has no stains or wear. The headliner is perfect. The only things to call are; There are just a few little dings that I tried to point out in the photos. 1 scuff on the top of the Rear Seat. There are some scratches and a small dent on the Rear Bumper. There are a few dings and normal rock chips as you would expect from any used vehicle. And maybe just a few little nicks or scratches in the tint. I have tried to describe this to the best of my ability but I may have missed a minor scratch here or there. You WILL NOT be disappointed with this vehicle. Again I repeat, ASK ALL QUESTIONS before BIDDING. PLEASE READ AND ASK EVERYTHING BEFORE BIDDING. This is a 10 Day Auction in order to give everyone ample time to do inspections and ask questions. All Inspections and Questions MUST BE DONE DURING THE AUCTION PERIOD. Once the Auction ends it is Final. $500 Paypal deposit is REQUIRED within 24 Hours and Balance to be wired to my Bank within 3 business days. Seller is NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING. Marchionne defends FCA recalls, says Wrangler won't be all-aluminum
Fri, May 22 2015FCA CEO Sergio Marchionne recently received the 2015 Industry Leadership Award from the SAE Foundation. While speaking with the press after the event, the boss discussed his thoughts about some key issues regarding the company's future. One of the big regulatory issues facing FCA at the moment is the upcoming public hearing by the National Highway Traffic Safety into the automaker's handling of 20 recalls. Marchionne has no intention of testifying there, according to The Detroit News. The CEO also thinks that the government regulator is becoming much more aggressive in how it handles safety campaigns, but the Feds aren't necessarily doing a very good job of communicating that. "We need to work with the agency in a very cooperative and open way to make sure that we can meet their requirements for their new stance," he said, according to the newspaper. "We have no option but to comply with their requirements and we will. I have nothing to hide in this process. I just want clear rules." Marchionne also dropped the news that the company has changed its mind about making the next Jeep Wrangler totally from aluminum. "Because of the difference in cost, not just the new material but the actual assembly process, I think we can do almost as well without doing it all-aluminum," he said to The Detroit News. This seemingly opens the door for the model to remain in production in Toledo, OH, but only just a crack. Marchionne says that the new Wrangler would still use a large amount of aluminum, and there are "at least" two sites in contention for the assembly. The company doesn't have too long to make a decision because the model reportedly launches in 2017.
Jeep Renegade configurator switches on
Fri, Jan 30 2015Less than a week after letting loose with pricing information for its 2015 Renegade, Jeep has powered up the configurator for its new compact CUV, giving us our first complete look at pricing for the model's healthy options catalog. If you've messed around with any of FCA's other online configurators, the Renegade's will be immediately familiar. Pick a trim, interior and exterior color, optional extras and packages, and you're done. Of course, we don't write these posts just to let you know about a configurator going live. We do them because it gives us an excuse to mess about with all the different varieties of a new model, and, on occasion, to build something surprisingly expensive or cheap, just to see if it can be done. The Renegade certainly has no issues when it comes to the former. If you want the priciest model, you'll need the $25,995 Trailhawk, which can be priced up to $33,330. We got to that figure by adding the $1,495 Trailhawk Premium Group (heated, powered leather seats, dual-zone climate control, heated steering wheel, 40/20/40 split-rear seats), the $595 Safety and Security Group I (blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic assist and an alarm), the $395 Trailer Tow Group, the $1,395 powered MySky system, a $150 hood decal (which might mean that you can get a Trailhawk without a black stripe), a $1,295 navigation system with satellite radio, a $495 nine-speaker stereo, a $295 push-button starter, a $200 remote starter and a $75 tonneau cover. Will you need all of those options? Not really. But many of them would certainly fall into the "must-have" category for customers. Head over to Jeep's consumer page and mess about with the configurator, and let us know what you think of the full pricing (and what your ideal spec looks like!) in Comments. Related Video:
New England Patriots player helps driver of rollover crash
Tue, Jan 20 2015Winning the AFC Championship game to guarantee a spot in the Super Bowl would be a pretty major accomplishment for most people in a day. However, just hours after the victory, New England Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork showed what he could do off the field, when he helped save a woman from an overturned car. Though, the player remained modest about what happened. Wilfork and his wife were driving home late at night when they spotted a flipped Jeep near Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. Surveillance video showed Wilfork pulling over and running to the vehicle's aid to be among the first on the scene. Finding a woman trapped inside, Wilfork told her, "Don't panic," and according to Massachusetts State Police, the 325-pound player simply reached his arm into the vehicle and lifted the woman out to save her. She was later charged with driving under the influence. Hear Wilfork's description of what happened in the video above.
