Hello, my name is Austin and number is 517-281-0254. I've been selling here on eBay for over ten years with over 300 transactions and not a single negative feedback which is almost unheard of. Ive also sold many high ticket items including cars, motorcycles dirtbikes, snowmobiles back in Michigan and even an older Cessna 152 for the airport down the road. Please feel free to call or email me anytime and PLEASE, PLEASE don't waste my time bidding if you don't have the money or "permission" to do so. Thank you!
On to how I got the Jeep! As you can see from the pictures its very clean, well taken care of and maintained truck. I bought it when I found out that my neighbor had sold it to a local shop when he found out how much the repairs on the suspension would be. I had seen it and had always admired it and when it wasnt in his drive after a couple of days I asked what he had done with it and when he told me I purchased it from the shop for considerably more then it was purchased for but it proved to be worth it and did have new suspension all around (shocks, bushings). Drives just like the other two XJ's that I owned before but has the more desired and rare Country edition trim. I planned to have it as a second vehicle with the intensions of putting a hitch on it (also included) and buying a boat to pull with it. It drove so nice I sold my car to save the money on insurance, repairs and maintenance of my other car at the time. Working six days a week and missing my old BMW has made me pass on the boat and I bought a BMW. Now I have two cars and have moved into a condo so I don't have a spot to park it and having to keep it registered and carry insurance as well. Needless to say it doesn't make sense. I would love to keep it and honestly had the intensions of having it long enough to get "antique" plates. The parts are so readily available and cost effective that its one of the most economical vehicles on the road today. Because of its high demand and popularity Chrysler continued to make this body style for 20yrs! This SUV had such a great reputation that hundreds of Police agency's adopted it. As you can tell I'm a true fan of not only the Jeep brand but the straight six engine no matter who the manufacture that one happens to be in the car I have now 535i. I know I'm not alone because of how many random people complement me on its condition which typically leads to them telling me a story about the one they had/have. A simple Google search will confirm the cult like following and the extensive availability aftermarket/oem parts and accessories.
Please keep in mind that this is a 20yr old truck and has over 200k miles. With that being said, looking at it and based on both the interior and exterior condition you would never guess.
The GOOD
- Runs like a top
-Shifts smooth
-Clean truck w/ Clean FL title
-4X4 Perfect
-New Tires (Less then 3k miles)
-New Interstate Battery ($200)
-New Alternator
-New water pump
-New thermostat
-New plugs/wires/cap
New Fuel/Air filter
-New Suspension
-New belt/tensioner
-New wipers
-New oil filter
All new parts and pretty much all were one at about the same time last December. You could probably use my name for the warranty if needed because all parts were purchased through advance auto. Most of it was just preventative after the replacing the battery when it was really the alternator that was what was wrong.
The BAD
-20yrs old
-Has high miles
-Rips in front seats
-Small amount of rust on top
-Power windows work with drivers control but not on pass door
-Rear windshield washer doesn't spray. Wiper works
-Couple chips (not cracks) in windshield
-The right fog light lens is broken
-One center cap is missing
The truck runs great and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere tomorrow. The truck drives straight down the road. Its quite, smooth, gets great gas mileage and the cruise control works. The air blows VERY COLD and the heat comes out VERY HOT. I'm probably forgetting a GOOD or a BAD but nothing major. It was very well kept and if it needed anything it got it. Just remember its 20yrs old. This is a great chance to pick up a nice work horse, first vehicle, extra vehicle or nice 4X4 to drive in the snow so you can put up your nice car that you're making those expensive payments on and don't want to completely trash in one winter. I lived in Michigan until about 7yrs ago so I know first hand there's nothing more sad then looking at all of that salt covering every square millimeter of the outside and the floorboards inside of what use to be a beautiful car.
I have a buddy that's a shipping broker and he'll make us a great deal. I will pay for it up to $500.00 which he said would cover it from here to New York if the buy it now is used. Thank you.

Daily Driver: 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X Edition
Thu, Apr 9 2015Daily Driver videos are micro-reviews of vehicles in the Autoblog press fleet, reviewed by the staffers that drive them every day. Today's Daily Driver features the 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X Edition, reviewed by Adam Morath. You can watch the video above or read a transcript below. Watch more Autoblog videos at /videos. VIDEO TRANSCRIPT Hi, I'm Adam Morath for Autoblog. Now, undoubtedly, one of the coolest things about this job is that you're in and out of so many different vehicles, but, I'll be honest, there are times where, if you're in very similar vehicles, they can start to run together a little bit. That's why I love getting into a car like this that just snaps you right out of it because it's so unique and so different from anything else on the market. Of course I'm talking about the Jeep Wrangler. I'm in a 2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. This is the X Edition, which stands for X Games. Jeep is a big title sponsor of the 2015 Aspen X Games and you can see that all over this vehicle. You have white, glossy accent plastic in the interior; mountain graphics throughout the interior and exterior of the vehicle – a nod, obviously, to the winter sports and skiing that you would do out in Aspen. And then in keeping with that mountainous theme, you have an Alpine nine-stereo speaker system. I'll be honest, though, that some of it feels a little overdone to me. For instance, there's a power-bulge in the hood. Credit to Jeep: the vents are actually functional, but this is not the trim I would go for, just personally. It's one of those vehicles that people are always wondering, "I really like the look of it [and] I like the capability, but could I live with a Wrangler?" It's the same sort of question you'll get from people who are looking at a sports car, "could I actually live with this is my daily driver?" And I have to say, Jeep has come a long way – Wrangler, in particular, has come a long way – in terms of driving comfort. Of course, don't expect "Lexus quiet." You can probably hear it's a big noisy in the cabin. It's a bit of a bumpy ride. There are things about this vehicle that I could see being annoying in your day-to-day life. For instance, the door: it's essentially an external hinge on the door, but it doesn't stay open for you. So, if you're on any sort of a tilt, the door will come back in and you have to just prop it open with your leg. Little things like that.
Chrysler resolves recall issue with NHTSA, will inspect, upgrade affected Jeeps
Tue, 18 Jun 2013Chrysler made big news earlier in the month by refusing a recall request from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration for the 1993-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty. Last week, NHTSA boss David Strickland countered by defending his agency's request for the recall of 2.7 million Jeep SUVs. Today marked the deadline for Chrysler to formally respond to NHTSA, and it seems that both parties have met in the middle with Chrysler inspecting and upgrading some of the affected vehicles without using the word "recall," which would constitute the admission of a defect; instead, Chrysler said that it is conducting a "voluntary campaign."
At issue on these vehicles is the positioning of the fuel tank behind the rear axle that could get damaged during a rear-end collision. NHTSA has stated that at least 51 people have been killed in rear-end collisions involving these Jeeps after the vehicles caught fire, to which Chrysler countered by pointing out that both models "met and exceeded" the requirements for fuel-system integrity.
As a compromise on the situation, Chrysler says that it will inspect all pre-2004 Grand Cherokees and pre-2007 Liberty models and, "if necessary, provide an upgrade to the rear structure of the vehicle." According to Automotive News, this upgrade will consist of adding a trailer hitch that will presumably better protect the rear-mounted gas tank. Vehicles already equipped with a factory or Mopar hitch will not be modified. Chrysler's official statement on the matter is posted below, but no additional information has been released, such as when the campaign will begin and how many vehicles could be affected.
LA-bound 2014 Jeep Wrangler special edition gives us the Willys for $25,795
Mon, 18 Nov 2013The Jeep Wrangler might be the reigning king of special editions, but with sales records being broken almost all year, this plan is obviously resonating with buyers. Joining new models like the Dragon Edition and Polar Edition, the 2014 Jeep Wrangler is adding a new Willys Wheeler Edition to pay homage to Jeep's military heritage.
Getting ready for its big debut at the LA Auto Show, the 2014 Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler Edition is inspired by early Willys CJ (Civilian Jeep) models with exclusive styling and upgraded off-road goodies. Starting with a Wrangler Sport, these upgrades include a Dana 44 rear axle with limited-slip differential and 3.73 gears, along with meaty BF Goodrich KM Mud Terrain tires mounted to the Willys Wheeler's black 17-inch wheels. For more of a classic Jeep look, this model adds a gloss black grille, "Willys" hood stickers and rock rails to protect the side sills. Jeep is also tossing in a D-ring, tow strap and gloves that are all kept in a special carrying bag.
When it goes on sale early next year, the Wrangler Willys Wheeler Edition will start at $25,795 for the two-door model, while the four-door will start at $29,595. There's an official press release posted below, and we'll be sure to have live images of the special-edition Wrangler live from the LA Auto Show floor later this week, so stay close.
