This 1981 Jeep CJ 7 Laredo 4x4 which spent its whole life in SoCal and has original Color Black paint,comes with hard top and hard doors and shows only 134935 miles. vin nr: 1JCCM87EXBL028664 It is a Turn Key Jeep, jump in and drive home ! Handles great also when going 70 miles per hour on the freeway Engine: 6 cylinder 4.2 l original motor that starts right up, sounds amazing, runs flawless and very powerful. The motor idles perfect and has plenty of power ,no smoke. Transmission: Manual 4 speed transmission that shifts perfect without any grinding, popping or whining. 4x4 works fine but I've not had it out in the sand dunes or mudding. The transmission and clutch shift perfectly and the jeep stops on a dime. Suspension: It has 2" lift. The Jeep drives great. Body: It does have NO rust on the underbody/undercarriage. It has almost NO scratches and blemishes what is unbelievable for a 32 year old Jeep. The front bumper and grill is shiny. Paint: The exterior is Black and looks great, You can still see the factory rivet marks and the natural "waves" that the jeep had when it was born. Jeep comes with original hard top and hard doors. The paint is very shiny, reflective and shows like new. The decals are like new. Hardtop: Factory original hardtop No cracks, cuts or damages. Interior Gauges/switches: The interior is completely original Black with silver lining, It does not have a rip, stain or color discoloration. The Heater blows warm and all blinkers, horn, switches, gauges work without problems. Alfa Romeo will gain a Jeep Compass-based SUV
Fri, Nov 30 2018It was reported earlier this week that FCA would invest into its Italian factories to ramp up production at currently underutilized locations. Those plans have now been clarified with official information from FCA, as reported by Automotive News. The entire investment is worth $5.7 billion. First of all, Alfa Romeo will gain a new compact SUV based on the Jeep Compass architecture. The still-unnamed model will be available as a plug-in hybrid, and it will be built in Pomigliano, Italy. No U.S. availability has yet been announced, but it would not be odd to see the Compass-based model sold below the Stelvio in the States. The last time Alfa Romeo had anything similar in its model portfolio was when it offered Crosswagon-badged four-wheel-drive versions of the 156 and 159 wagons. As for the Jeep Compass itself, it will begin to be built at the Melfi plant in Italy. The rumored small "baby" Jeep slotting under the Renegade has not yet been officially mentioned. Fiat will introduce a battery electric 500, built in Turin, and the Pomigliano plant that will make the compact Alfa Romeo SUV will also be used to build a mild hybrid version of the Panda city car. The 500X will gain a PHEV variant. The Stelvio platform will also spawn a corresponding SUV for Maserati, and FCA also mentioned Maserati will introduce a new, unnamed model it will make in Modena. Imported from Detroit and Halftime in America should be given credit for giving the automaker's public perception a complete overhaul after its rescue from the brink with taxpayer money. What next, then?
We just found out during Super Bowl XLVII. This year Chrysler went with two commercials, one for Jeep and the other Ram. The two-minute-long Jeep commercial, called Whole Again, is narrated by Oprah Winfrey and presented as an open letter to the service men and women of America, simply expressing admiration for what they do - poignant message coming from a company whose history is so entwined with that of the military's.
The Ram commercial, called Farmer, honors the agricultural backbone of this country. Its soundtrack is a speech entitled "So God Made a Farmer" given by the famous radio broadcaster Paul Harvey, which plays over a slideshow of original photography commissioned by Ram. The images, of course, focus on farming and the people who do it for a living, and there's a few Ram trucks in there, as well.
