Want a cheap Jeep CJ-5 here it is! No reserve! Starting at $1.00 Three day sale! Its a project Jeep but its all there and together. Its not currently running, needs Carter single barrel cleaned and a new ignition modual. There isn't to much to go wrong on this jeep. It has been sitting for around five years, so it will need fuel dumped and flushed.

Has a plastic tank, stainless steel break lines and hoses, high back seats, flip and fold rear seat, full 1993 wrangler roll bar with rear seat belts, nurf bars, willies tailgate, and the original steel roof and doors. None of its clean, paint is from a can, and well its a trail jeep. You must be able to trailer or tow it and pick up immediately (three days or so after auctions end) Cash preferred! Have a question ask before you bid! This is AS IS WHERE IS auction! I dont ship, deliver, or mail! You want it you come and get it! There is no warranty. Its not running! Jeep leads list of 25 most patriotic brands

It's not unusual to feel extra patriotic this time of year, what with the Fourth of July being today and all. As if to celebrate, New York-based research firm Brand Keys conducted a study among 4,500 consumers about what brands they find to be the most patriotic. According to the Detroit Free Press, Jeep took top honors in this study, besting other American stalwart brands including Coca-Cola, Levi's and Hershey's.
Interestingly, the only other automotive brand to make the list was Ford, in the 16th spot (motorcycle fans take note - Harley-Davidson claimed the No. 13 slot). This means consumers found Jeep to be more patriotic than any of the brands in the General Motors portfolio, including Chevrolet, which has long used American themes in its advertising over the decades.
According to Brand Keys, Jeep came in "with a score of 98 out of 100 on a scale representing consumers' emotional engagement expectations," the Detroit Free Press reports. Be sure to read the report to scan the entire Top 25 list for yourself.

Next Jeep Wrangler to keep solid axles

Jeep fans, you're not out of the woods yet, but the latest news is good: Automotive News reports that the next-generation Wrangler will stick with floating solid axles front and rear. Fiat-Chrysler wouldn't comment on the report, but the theory is that the combination of cost, capability, and ease of modification were deciding factors. We're sure the multibillion dollar aftermarket industry is also pleased. Remember, Jeep showed off the lifted Cherokee Dakar Concept at the Easter Jeep Safari last year, but the first ingredient in the recipe for jacking up its independent suspension was, "a whole new suspension." Above that there will be an aluminum body that's smaller than the current one, which Allpar says could be done with a narrower track and tighter gaps. It will sport a fixed windshield with increased rake to improve aero efficiency, and while there are rumors of a diesel-engined version that we'll finally get in the US, there's been no reliable info as of yet to back that up.
