Vehicle Title:Clear
Make: Jeep
Drive Type: 4 WD
Model: CJ
Mileage: 50,000
Trim: CJ-5
You are bidding on a 1969 Jeep CJ-5. This Jeep is a project with a running engine. I believe it has a 231 Buick V-6. The engine runs pretty good but has some vibration. My guess , was maybe it had a Dauntless 225 flywheel on it causing the vibration, instead of a neutrally balanced flywheel. I have not had it apart, so that's just my guess. The V-6 has headers, HEI, and a Quadrajet 4 bbl on it. It has a 3 speed tranny, and I think a Dana 18 transfer case. Tranny is stuck in a gear, so that will need to be checked out. The frame is really good on this Jeep, and that is a rarity, in my experience. That is why I bought it to start with. The body, has some bondo in it, the worst being the front fenders. You can buy Jeep sheet metal cheap, including the fenders. The tires have lots of tread on them. If you buy the Jeep you can have up to 60 days to pick it up as long as its paid for. $250 Paypal deposit due within 48 hours of auction end. Full payment needs to be made within 7 days.Clear Oklahoma title in my name, in hand!

Mazda2 nets Japan Car of the Year, Cherokee first US model to ever crack top 10
Tue, 14 Oct 2014The 2015 Mazda2 is quite high up on our must-drive list. Yes, the teeny, tiny successor to the 100-horsepower five-door is worth getting excited over, largely because the previous generation was one of the absolute best smiles-per-dollar values on the market.
While we eagerly await for our opportunity to take to the 2's helm, our expectations of the new car have just been heightened thanks to its win in Japan's Car of the Year competition. Called "Demio" in the land of the rising sun, Japanese journalists handed out Mazda's second COTY award since the CX-5 took the title in 2012.
In more surprising news, the new Jeep Cherokee has made the list of 10 Best Cars in Japan. The Jeep's triumph marks the first time an American car has cracked the top ten, finishing eighth. It's not, however, the first Fiat Chrysler vehicle to snag the title, following in the footsteps of the Alfa Romeo Giulietta and Fiat Panda. Still, the fact that an American brand can make such impressive inroads into the traditionally tough-to-crack Japanese market is a seriously big deal.
An inside look at Mopar's SEMA fleet
Fri, 31 Oct 2014Mopar is heading to the SEMA show in Las Vegas with a fleet of customized vehicles that appeal to enthusiasts of all stripes. There's a Dodge Viper ACR concept that follows in the lineage of the supercar's great road racing past, and a custom Ram ProMaster that might just be the ultimate outdoor party machine.
We got an inside look at Mopar's cars that will be on display at the show, which also include a Dodge Challenger T/A concept, two crazy Jeeps and a Ram 2500 Outdoorsman that could change the way you camp. While these are some of our favorites, Mopar is bringing plenty to SEMA, so let us know your top choices in the comments section.
This American Life spends a week selling Jeeps in Long Island
Thu, 19 Dec 2013So you think you know car dealers? Well, maybe you do, but This American Life spent a month at Town and Country Jeep Chrysler Doge Ram in Long Island to give us a behind-the-scenes look (or listen, since it's a radio program) at what it's like to be a car dealer.
Yes, there's a lot of swearing in thick New York accents, frustration, confusion, and generally it's a madhouse at the dealership. But that's understandable when the sales staff has to sell 129 vehicles in October in order to get an $85,000 manufacturer bonus - with several other Jeep dealerships within a 10-mile radius.
The episode, 129 Cars, is worth a listen, but make sure you have 71 minutes to spare if you want to get through it in one sitting. Head here for the unedited version or here for the bleeped version (which is 58 minutes long).
