This is my extremely nice 2010 Jaguar XKR Convertible! These cars came from the factory FULLY LOADED including
Adaptive Cruise Control! The only option available on the 2010 XKR Convertible was a choice of 2 optional 20"
wheels. This car has the optional 20" Kalimnos wheels, a $5,000 option. This car carried a list price of
$107,000. It's finished in Vapour Grey with Charcoal top and Charcoal/Ivory Stitching FULL Leather interior. This
car shows very minimal signs of wear and everything works!
This car was sold new by Momentum Jaguar in Houston on January 23, 2010. It was subsequently traded in and I
purchased it from them as a Jaguar Select Edition vehicle on September 13, 2014 with 18,059 miles. The Select
Edition warranty stays with the car and is good until January 23, 2016.
There are NO issues with this car. The 510 HP, 5.0 liter SUPERCHARGED engine runs perfectly, and is very powerful
as you would expect. It's a total joy to drive! The tires have about 6,000 miles on them and are in perfect
condition.
I have all the books, Navigation Disc and 2 Smartkeys, just like it came from the factory. I also have the
original window sticker, which is pictured in this listing.
The car was just serviced about 2 weeks ago at my Jaguar dealer in Illinois. This car is really stunning! It's
always been garaged, and it has not been smoked in. It still has that new leather smell!
I drove this marvelous car a little over 7,000 miles in the year I have owned it. It was NOT used as a daily
driver, but was driven on a couple of out-of-state trips and on nice days with the top down!
I have clear title in-hand. There is no existing loan on the car.

UK electric motor maker YASA expands production 50-fold for EVs
Thu, Feb 1 2018LONDON — British electric motor manufacturer YASA said on Thursday it was increasing its production capacity from 2,000 to 100,000 units with a new factory to tap into growing demand from carmakers for greener technologies. Automakers are racing to build greener vehicles and improve charge times in a bid to meet rising customer demand and air quality targets but Britain lacks sufficient manufacturing capacity, an area the government is building up. Last year, the government picked a site in central England to house a new automotive battery development facility, which will develop the processes required to manufacture the latest battery advancements. On Thursday, YASA, based near the English city of Oxford, said it had raised another 15 million pounds ($21 million) as part of its expansion. "Our customers are looking to adopt innovative new technologies such as YASA's axial-flux electric motors and controllers in order to meet the needs of the rapidly expanding hybrid and pure electric automotive market," said Chief Executive Chris Harris. The firm exports 80 percent of production and has worked with companies including Britain's two biggest carmakers Jaguar Land Rover and Nissan as well as Aston Martin. JLR will decide this year whether to build electric cars in its home market, previously citing factors such as pilot testing and support from science and government as pre-requisites. Jaguar sends off XK with limited-run Final 50 edition
Fri, 18 Apr 2014The Jaguar XK coupe and convertible are pointed at the production sunset, and the cars that will end their retail lives in the US will be the dubbed the XK Final Fifty Limited Edition. As the name implies there will be fifty of them made, 25 of the fixed-roof variety, 25 of the droptop.
As the name doesn't imply, however, they'll be based on the XKR and be injected with liberal doses of XKR-S and XKR-S GT: the 510-horsepower V8 from the XKR will be mated to normally optional items like the Dynamic and Performance Packs, machined front suspension components from the XKR-S and a 10-millimeter lower ride height, the louvered hood from the XKR-S GT and Vortex 20-inch forged wheels. The sheetmetal gets a bath in Ultimate Black paint "with special trim" and badged door sill plates. Convertibles will come black roofs, but the Performance Active Exhaust will keep you apprised of the 5.0-liter V8 bellows no matter which car you choose.
They'll go into production this summer and hit dealerships in the fall. There's a lengthy press release below with more info on how this cat will sing its swan song.
An E-Type in the garden: rotting '63 Jaguar heads for auction
Wed, Mar 2 2016There's something about formerly gorgeous cars in dilapidated states from which the eye cannot turn away. The devastatingly cruel fate of this Jaguar E-Type is an illustration. Next week, it likely begins a new life. Still voluptuous after decades rotting in a garden, this 1963 Series 1 fixed head coupe will be offered for sale at the Coys auction Tuesday in London. The car has 44,870 miles on the odometer and has passed through several owners, including one with a tangential connection to the Beatles and another man who used the Jag to pull his MG to Brands Hatch. He would race them both, according to Coys' listing, wringing the most out of the E-Type's 265-horsepower inline six. Ivor Arbiter was owner No. 1. His link to history is that he designed the Beatles drop-T logo in the early '60s and was reportedly paid five British pounds for it. He bought the E-Type new in 1963, used it, and then sold it to in 1965. The E-Type passed through a couple of owners until motorsports enthusiast Frank Riches bought it in '67. He tracked the Jag at some of Britain's iconic circuits and drove it until he fried the clutch. Coys cites a story from Riches' brother recounting when the E-Type hit 150 miles per hour on a public road, its listed top speed. It was in storage until the 1980s, and then Riches relocated it to his garden, where it has sat for years. Considering its long dormancy, the Jag appears to be in reasonable shape. It's never been restored, obviously, and Riches still has many of the original parts he replaced, including the center console and radiator bar. Coys notes that the seats have a "lovely patina" and are worth saving, too. The buyer also gets a brown logbook, the sales invoice to Riches, two service books (it is a '63 Jag) and a spare parts catalogue. A Coys auctioneer told ITV.com that the car could net about $140,000. Related Video: Jaguar Auctions Coupe Luxury Performance jaguar e-type
