2007 Jaguar Xkr on 2040-cars
Owego, New York, United States
More infos regarding my car at: arlenaallangbehn@1me.net .
Selling my 2007 JAGUAR XKR Coupe It has a all aluminum body and knockout looks
and a low 52310 miles (may go up slightly, I like using the car). It's a modern factory built European muscle car.
It also has 2years 3 months (also covered up to 85,000 miles) left on a bumper to bumper extended warranty issued
by Jaguar of Southampton and is transferable. Paint is called Slate Gray with a striking white leather interior.
Everything works as it should. This is a true Super car that runs perfect looks perfect and has the protection of
the warranty. The car is overall in excellent condition (but please take a look at the photos). It handles very
well and is very fast (420hp). I wanted a car that is fast and handles well, but also something that is nice inside
and out. The car has ice cold AC, paddle shifting automatic with sports mode, Navi, CD, bluetooth, all leather
interior, and heated seats. It also has very sporty looking yellow brake calipers. The car had the Jaguar 50,000
mile periodic maintenance service.
The car has never been tracked, autocrossed or abused.
I absolutely love the car and hate to sell it but it has to go.
Overall the car is exceptionally nice, looks great, and is dependable.
I would drive it across the US any day. There is a small scrap on the right front wheel -- scruff from the driveway
. The wheels are straight. There is also a tiny bit of scruffing in the front lip spoiler.
Have clean title in hand.

Road & Track names its 2013 Performance Car of the Year
Thu, 14 Nov 2013Road & Track recently staged its first annual Performance Car of the Year test, pitting 13 new and updated performance cars against each other on track, then graduating the top six to a road test before picking a winner. Additionally, the magazine staff picked the best automobiles of the year in eight categories.
But first, let's cover the PCotY segment. Here's the list of cars brought to the comparison test: Audi R8 V10 Plus; BMW 435i; BMW M6 Competition Package; Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Z51; Ferrari F12 Berlinetta; Ford Fiesta ST; Jaguar F-Type V8 S; Jaguar XFR-S; Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG S-Model Wagon; Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series; Mini John Cooper Works GP; Nissan GT-R Track Edition; and Porsche Cayman S.
To find out the results of the comparison, head over to Road & Track's website or check the press release below, where you'll also find the magazine's top-rated vehicles in eight categories. Want more? Head over to the 2013 PCotY hub. But before you do that, take a stab at guessing the winner of PCotY (we'll give you one hint: it isn't a Porsche).
Jaguar planning additional models, engines
Fri, May 1 2015Jaguar is in the midst of a product offensive, rolling out the new XE and XF sedans while preparing the upcoming F-Pace crossover. But it's not about to sit on its leather-upholstered laurels. According to Motor Trend, the British automaker has a slew of projects in the cooker. For starters, there will reportedly be more versions of the flexible new Ingenium engine family. The lineup is being launched with gasoline and diesel four-cylinder engines, but is tipped to breed smaller three-cylinder versions as well to slot into a variety of Jaguar and Land Rover models. More intriguing, however, is the suggestion that Coventry is planning to replace its long-serving 3.0-liter supercharged V6 with a new straight six engine that could go turbocharged – which would make some sense out of the 35t moniker being worn by the supercharged XE. Of course Jaguar is going to need some new vehicles to slot those engines into, and MT suggests there are several possibilities under consideration (if not actual current development). The XE could breed wagon, coupe and convertible versions, as well as an SVR variant to take on the the BMW M4, Cadillac ATS-V et al. If the F-Pace proves a success, it could lead to larger and smaller crossovers in the future. The next XK is tipped to grow larger and go up-market. There, it would compete with the likes of the Bentley Continental GT, Rolls-Royce Wraith and Mercedes S-Class Coupe, while steering clear of the smaller F-Type. Related Video:
Jaguar buys world's largest collection of British cars
Mon, 28 Jul 2014Whether you're looking at Bertone going bankrupt or Spyker facing (and subsequently resolving) a large tax bill, it's saddening to see an automaker having to sell off its factory collection. That's why we're glad to report that there are still some acquiring historic vehicles from their pasts. Like Jaguar, which has just bought the largest private collection of classic British cars in the world.
The collection of 543 cars was painstakingly assembled by one James Hull, a British dentist with some 50 dental clinics to his name across the UK and who was keen to find the right buyer to take possession of his life's work and preserve it for years to come.
Of those 543 cars, the majority are of British origin, including over 130 Jaguars. The collection includes seven XK120s, several C- and D-Types, a rare XKSS, eight E-Types, thirty Mark-series Jaguar sedans, nineteen XJS coupes and convertibles, some twenty XJ sedans as well as some pre-war SS models and Swallow sidecars and coachbuilt specials from the company's early days. Among the many noteworthy examples are a rare SS100, an alloy-bodied XK120 and an MK X owned by company founder Sir William Lyons himself, as well as Winston Churchill's Austin, Elton John's Bentley, and racing driver and motorcycle rider Mike Hailwood's E-Type.
