2003 Jaguar Xk8 4.2 Convertible, Beautiful Car, Very Low Miles. on 2040-cars
Dallas, Texas, United States
I am selling
my 2003 XK8. This car has only 55,500 miles on it. It has been well taken care
of its whole life. It has a wonderful color combination. I am selling the car for a very good reason.
I need the money. I have owned three other XK8 s in the last 10 years. I bought
this car a year ago because of the low miles, the great color combination and
the main reason is that the earlier models had some problems that were
expensive to fix, such as complete motor failure or top problems etc. This car has a clean record. It is
the first year of the 4.2 liter motor. They had all the bugs figured out by this
time. I bought the car from the second
owner in California. The car has always been garage kept. When I bought the car
I was told the quarter panel, bumper cover and trunk were re sprayed. They did
a very good job. I do see one small area where a rock chip hit on the rear
bumper about the size of a nickel that shows where it might have been
repainted. There are two very small door dings on one side and one very small
one on the other door, like less than dime size. There are some light paint chips on the front
bumper and front of the hood. This is a very common occurrence with the xk8. The
tires are in great shape and have many miles left on them. The top works
excellent. It has a parade cover that matches the interior as well. The
interior is in fabulous shape. The headliner is very clean as well. This is the
perfect car for someone looking for an inexpensive sporty classy car. I am sure
when I am flush I will be buying another one. I know what these cars are worth and the
reserve is very reasonable. I don’t know
what else to say about the car. It is a great car. Feel free to call me with
any question. The car is located in Dallas and I can show it. This weekend
would be great if anybody wants to see it. I will be in and out of town if
anybody wants to look at it next week. Feel free to
call me with any questions at 512 997 8776. I want the complete payment for the
car within seven days of the end of the auction. Good Luck! |

Jaguar Land Rover cutting production in face of falling demand
Sat, Feb 8 2020LONDON — Jaguar Land Rover will reduce or stop production on certain days at two of its British factories over the next few weeks as Britain's biggest carmaker pursues cost-cutting measures in response to falling demand. JLR posted a 2.3% drop in retail sales in the three months to the end of December and has targeted billions of pounds worth of savings to tackle falling diesel demand in Europe and a tough sales environment in China. The firm will halt production on selected days over a four-week period from late February at its Castle Bromwich factory in central England and stop production on some half or full days at its nearby Solihull facility until the end of March. "The external environment remains challenging for our industry and the company is taking decisive actions to achieve the necessary operational efficiencies to safeguard long-term success," the company said in a statement. "We have confirmed that Solihull and Castle Bromwich will make some minor changes to their production schedules to reflect fluctuating demand globally, whilst still meeting customer needs." The move is not connected to coronavirus, a spokeswoman said, which prompted Fiat Chrysler to warn on Thursday that a European plant could shut down within two to four weeks if Chinese parts suppliers cannot get back to work.
