The car isn't perfect, but is mechanically sound. The interior has no rips or tears, but does have wear to be expected from a car this age. I drove it every day prior to losing my license a month ago because of health issues. I thought about keeping it for when I get my license back, but need to pay the doctor's bills so my loss is your gain.

The great thing for those that know what you are looking at is that the two most common issues with this model have been taken care of within the last 6 months.

All hoses have been replaced, including the pesky 5 way heater hose.
New XK8 Suspension kit installed, Including Front Ball Joints, Anti Roll Bar Links, Roll Bar Mount Bushings, Wishbone Bushings & Lower Shock Absorber Bushes

Negatives - As you can see from the pictures, it was swiped on the front driver's side fender. I planned to fix it, but never got around to it. You can regularly find the entire fender already painted and ready to bolt/clip in from a parted car here on Ebay for $200 - $350. It may even pop out, but I haven't tried. The passenger side window is also loose and could use to be reseated, but still goes up and down.

This is the perfect time of the year to get a good deal on a classic style luxury convertible. None of the "negatives" will stop you from just putting the top down and going.

Watch this bad parker get what's coming to him

If you're lucky enough to have a nice vehicle, do your fellow gearheads a favor and don't park like a clown. Seriously. Not only will you anger everyone who is trying to find a place to park, but your nice car is a billboard reinforcing the stereotype that car people are self-important and inconsiderate.
Take this gentleman for example. He has a Jaguar XK, and understandably wants to take care of it. Rather than parking it far, far away from any other cars and getting a bit of exercise by walking to his building, he takes up two spots (albeit barely) close to the structure. From the cameraman's narration, we can tell his coworkers are less than thrilled about his inability to stay between the lines.
Naturally, they wanted to teach him a lesson, so they parked a bigger vehicle as close to his driver's door as possible. Mr. XK's attempts to enter his vehicle are rather amusing, culminating in his climbing through the passenger side and scooching over to the driver's seat. While we can debate this sort of treatment all day long, it was effective. The video includes a follow up at the end showing where the XK driver parked the next day, and as you might guess, it wasn't in the same spot.

Watch the Jaguar I-Pace live reveal

The day has finally come for the Jaguar I-Pace electric crossover to be revealed, and you can watch as the sheet is pulled off the company's first full EV. The reveal starts at 1:00 p.m. ET, and can be viewed in the embedded video above. The I-Pace was first revealed in concept form in Nov. 2016. Jaguar claimed it had a range of 220 miles, 400 horsepower, and 516 pound-feet of torque. Jaguar has also promised very fast charging at 100kW DC chargers. Apparently it can regain 80% of its charge in 45 minutes at such a charger. Jaguar has claimed this charging capability for the production model, but we have yet to see if the power and range numbers held up. Jaguar will also run a one-make I-Pace race series alongside Formula E. We'll see if any further announcements are made about the racing version of the car and the series. Related Video:
