I have a 1997 Jag XK8 V8 Convertible for sale. This car is in decent condition for its age. It starts and runs well. The car has had the front and rear bumpers replaced with XKR bumpers and they look much better but are still stock for the car. The XKR was the high performance version of the XK8. It also has newer rims from the 2000's series XK8. These things make it look much newer than it is. Top is in great shape and functions properly.

The heater/air conditioning module may need to be replaced. It worked in the past but now the display does not turn on. I have looked and these cost about $50 on ebay. The center console arm rest is worn out (common on these cars) and could be replaced if you desired. They are about $200 on ebay.

The ABS light stays on and the dash says Traction control, but the operation of both seem to be fine. The tires may be a little cupped from sitting and they should probably be replaced at some point in the near future.

This car is not perfect. Please do not expect this to be a brand new Jag. It is over 15 years old. It is a sharp looking, good running car that has been in warm weather its entire life. No rust or other issues. I am listing all possible issues with the car as it is old and a lot of these issues are common for Jaguars. Please contact me with any questions. Jaguar XE teased in new video, will debut September 8

Outside of a major auto show, this might be one of the best times of the year for new car debuts, and we couldn't be more excited. Just this week, the low-slung face of the next-generation Mazda MX-5 Miata showed itself to the world, and Land Rover debuted its new Discovery Sport. Plus, there's a double-whammy of launches on the imminent horizon with the unveilings of the Jaguar XE on September 8 and the Mercedes-AMG GT on September 9.
Jag is teasing the launch of its latest midsize luxury sedan with a few glimpses on video. It's strangely secretive, given the fact that Jaguar showed the XE's face completely un-camouflaged a few weeks ago. Regardless, it's quite a looker up front with a sleeker take on the shape of the larger XF.
Because of the way Jaguar is slowly leaking details about the XE, there are a few other things we already know about this new cat, too. It rides on a monocoque chassis made from over 75 percent aluminum, and the automaker is promising 75 miles per gallon fuel economy on the more lenient European cycle for at least one engine in the lineup.

Paul Branstad loves the shape and purity of the Series 1 Jaguar E-Type, produced from 1961 to 1968, but appreciates the longer length of the Series 3 V12 model, which affords occupants a more comfortable space in which to enjoy long trips. So when Branstad brought his damaged left-hand-drive 1968 roadster from its home in the US to Classic Motor Cars in the UK for a restoration, he had a special request: restore his car, but make it a bit longer.
"This is something that we have never done before. Our client wanted the interior leg room of a Series 3 V12 E-Type but the aesthetics of a Series 1 car," says Nick Goldthorp, managing director of CMC.
For the restoration, CMC added 4.5 inches of length to the floor pan of Branstad's E-Type to create the extra legroom. Goldthorp relates, "The V12 was actually nine inches longer than a Series 1 but a lot of the additional room was behind the seats as storage and was not required on our project." That's because CMC also built a trailer out of two E-Type rear ends that attaches to a custom-made removable tow hitch.
