LET ME START WITH WHAT I DO NOT HAVE FOR THIS VEHICLE: original motor or trans; front seats; front bumper; horn button; and title to vehicle (it comes with a "bill of sale" only!)
THIS CAR IS VERY FIXABLE. HAS TYPICAL RUST FOR ONE OF THESE CARS. SHEET METAL IS VERY GOOD EXTERIOR WISE. FRAME SEEMS TO BE VERY SOLID. IT DOES NEED FLOOR PANS. MOST LIKELY NEEDS SOME METAL WORK HERE AND THERE. OVERALL A VERY SOLID VEHICLE. I DID NOT TAKE PICTURES UNDER THE HOOD, BECAUSE I AM UNABLE TO GET THE LATCH RELEASED. HOWEVER, I DID SPRAY IT WITH WD-40. I DO KNOW THAT UNDER THE HOOD IS A SMALL-BLOCK CHEVY AND POWER-GLIDE TRANSMISSION. I ALSO HAVE ALL HEADLIGHTS, HEADLIGHT TRIM AND BOTTOM WINDSHIELD TRIM.
CALL WITH ANY ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS. THANKS AND GOOD LUCK BIDDING.

Jaguar moves to trademark C-Pace name
Wed, Jul 11 2018Jaguar is again picking up the pace. The manufacturer has filed a new European trademark application with the word "Pace" in it, and this time it's all about the C-Pace. While there is no other info to go with the name, it could very well stand for a new, upcoming compact crossover that would exist as an entry-level vehicle under the F-Pace, E-Pace and the electric I-Pace (which is easily differentiated from the non-electric E-pace, as the I-Pace doesn't use internal combustion). Australia's CarAdvice suggests the eventual range-topping Pace model would be called the J-Pace, to go along with the XJ nameplate that's formed an upscale backbone for Jaguar for decades. As for sedans, the XE is paired with the E-Pace, and the F-Pace corresponds to the XF; with Volvo's crossover versions already reserving the XC name, there's no chance for Jaguar to have a matching C-Pace and XC combination in its portfolio. The C-Pace could also be a crossover coupe version based on either the E-Pace or the F-Pace. The trademark application was filed on July 9, and along with car-related goods and services, the application also covers software and charging stations, even buildings. We'll keep an eye on it. 2014 Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake is one hot hauler
Wed, 05 Mar 2014Oh look, another super-hot wagon that won't be making its way to the US. Awesome.
Actually, in all honesty, it really is awesome. Meet the Jaguar XFR-S Sportbrake, a red-hot (or blue-hot?) version of the rakish XF wagon that originally bowed at the Geneva Motor Show back in 2012. The formula here is pretty much plug-and-play: take the 5.0-liter supercharged V8 from the XFR-S and shove it in the wagon body, and add all of the necessary visual flair fitting of a properly powerful Jag. The end result is an estate that packs 542 horsepower, 502 pound-feet of torque, and the ability to sprint to 60 miles per hour in a scant 4.6 seconds. Meow.
This Jaguar joins a growing segment of ultra-hot wagons in Europe, rounded out by offerings like the Audi RS6 Avant and the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG longroof - the latter of which you can actually buy in North America. Sounds like the sort of comparison test we'd love to facilitate. Guess we'll have to leave that to our friends at Autocar, though.
Jaguar readying SUV for Frankfurt debut
Thu, 01 Aug 2013In an effort to target higher-volume vehicle segments, Jaguar is getting ready to introduce its first-ever crossover, and Autoweek reports that we could see it debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. We've heard in the past that the new Jaguar crossover could carry the name XQ, but the report also mentions that the Q-type name is still in the running (now wouldn't Audi just love that?).
A little more clear than the crossover's name, AW says the cargo-friendly Jaguar should ride on the same platform as the upcoming Jaguar XS compact sedan rather than using a Land Rover platform. As for the on-sale date, it still sounds like the XS will hit the roads first in 2015 with the crossover model due out in 2016.
