Greetings to All!! imotors is quite pleased to offer possibly the nicest 1990 Jaguar XJS Coupe Available! 1990 was the first model year for the drivers side SRS Airbag, which eliminated those annoying and troublesome automatic seatbelts. Yet it still retained the original look, before the final facelift in 1991(for the 1992 model). This one is in extra nice condition!! You can tell just by looking at the quality and originality, that it has been pampered and treated like a favorite child! The paint is Gorgeous, and is all original, with the exception of both doors(Paint meter tells us). The interior is just lovely, along with the wood trim. It is fitted with Michelin Radials on chrome alloys that just enhance its already sporty appearance. There is some light corrosion present on a few, but hardly noticeable. This Gorgeous XJS runs and drives utterly fantastic with no noted unpleasantries. Jaguar lovers everywhere get weak in the knees when one like this becomes available. A collector owned, low mileage XJS that was apparently treated like one of the family! Examples like this one are unheard of!

Our White XJS is just Gorgeous!

You can tell by the condition of the mostly Original paint that this Beauty was Always Garaged and Pampered!!

The XJS was one of Jaguars longest running models, introduced after the E-Type in 1975(As a 76 model), and produced all the way to 1996......21 years!!!

The mostly Original Glacier White Paint just Glistens in the sun. Pretty much the same way it did 24 years ago!! A few minor nicks and scratches from normal usage, but certainly nothing to deter from the Beauty and Originality of this Gorgeous Jag Coupe!

The sumptuous leather interior is in fantastic condition and is certainly commensurate with the low mileage and excellent care our Gorgeous XJS has seen throughout its 24 year life. The leather is totally original with no dying done anywhere. Even the carpets look like they have never been stepped on.

There are no weather cracks in the dash pad, and the burl wood glistens brightly! Driver SRS Airbag for your safety.

I would guess that this was a 1 person vehicle. The condition of the interior, especially the lack of wear would be a good indication! My guess is that no one ever sat here!!

Jaguar buys world's largest collection of British cars

Whether you're looking at Bertone going bankrupt or Spyker facing (and subsequently resolving) a large tax bill, it's saddening to see an automaker having to sell off its factory collection. That's why we're glad to report that there are still some acquiring historic vehicles from their pasts. Like Jaguar, which has just bought the largest private collection of classic British cars in the world.
The collection of 543 cars was painstakingly assembled by one James Hull, a British dentist with some 50 dental clinics to his name across the UK and who was keen to find the right buyer to take possession of his life's work and preserve it for years to come.
Of those 543 cars, the majority are of British origin, including over 130 Jaguars. The collection includes seven XK120s, several C- and D-Types, a rare XKSS, eight E-Types, thirty Mark-series Jaguar sedans, nineteen XJS coupes and convertibles, some twenty XJ sedans as well as some pre-war SS models and Swallow sidecars and coachbuilt specials from the company's early days. Among the many noteworthy examples are a rare SS100, an alloy-bodied XK120 and an MK X owned by company founder Sir William Lyons himself, as well as Winston Churchill's Austin, Elton John's Bentley, and racing driver and motorcycle rider Mike Hailwood's E-Type.

Autocar compares new Maserati Quattroporte to Jaguar XJ

Autocar's Steve Sutcliffe took the 2014 Maserati Quattroporte on a spin along snowy mountain roads to test it for a specific brief: as a limousine for the chauffeured class. It's sporting credentials are impressive: Twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8, 532 horsepower, 475 pound-feet of torque in casual circumstances that rises to 532 lb-ft in overboost, a 0-to-60 mile-per-hour sprint of 4.7 seconds and a top speed of 191 mph.
However, citing Maserati's desire to not just increase its sales to 50,000-per-annum by 2015, but to sell many more of its cars in China, Sutcliffe wanted to find out if the livery side of the Quattroporte could match its sport sedan side. So after taking the pilot's seat and trying out the sport settings, Sutcliffe hops in back to test out the CEO's seat.
Then he compares the Quattroporte against the long-wheelbase Jaguar XJ with its supercharged V8, a sedan that's 15,000 pounds less expensive than the Maserati. It doesn't take long for him to find that one of them is a clear winner when it comes to transporting VIPs. To find out which one, enjoy the video below.

Jaguar appoints Joe Eberhardt as North American President

Jaguar Land Rover North America has appointed a new president, Joachim Eberhardt. The German exec, 50, had previously done stints at Chrysler Group, DaimlerChrysler UK, Mercedes-Benz USA and Daimler-Benz.
Eberhardt joins JLR NA in a good, but challenging time for the company. It's fresh off the launch of the Range Rover Sport and Jaguar F-Type, which have been subject to rave reviews, and its overall sales are up 21 percent over 2012. Still, as Automotive News points out, the two manufacturers face a fight to become the equal of A-list competitors like BMW and Mercedes in the eyes of consumers.
"Joe brings a proven industry track record and valuable global leadership experience in luxury sales, service and marketing. We look forward to Joe leading our North American team in working with our retail networks to further grow the business and better serve our customers," JLR's group sales operations director, Andy Goss, said.
