I have a 1989 Jaguar XJS for sale. It has 102000 miles.
The exterior is beautiful, has nice shiny glossy dark green paint, and very few minor dings (smaller than a quarter)
The interior is tan leather, it is in good shape, and while it does show signs of aging, it is still soft, and free of any rips and tears.
The convertible top does have several small tears in it, as you can see in the pictures. The top, and rear quarter windows work perfectly, and go up, and retract under their own power, using the switch on the center console.
This car is currently not drivable, I have been able to start it, it has spark, gets fuel to the rails, but half of the injectors are not firing. We have swapped out "bad injectors" with known good injectors, and this did not fix the problem. We tested the fuel injection wiring harness and it appeared to be good. It leads me to believe that you will need a new Fuel Injection ECM to fix the car... they sell for between 150-300 dollars on ebay.
Engine has good compression, and turns over freely. If you wiggle the connector at the ecm she will start up occasionally. Car does not overheat, and is in great shape overall, just need to figure out why injectors aren't firing to get it going. Car comes with lein sale paperwork for the state of california. Paperwork shows over 3900 in repairs to the car. Transmission was fully rebuilt, guy couldn't pay the bill so it was sold as collateral. I have the lein sale paperwork, and was told by my auto registration place that it would be between 250 and 300 dollars to transfer title and register the car.
This is a great car for the jaguar enthusiast. It does need a few minor things, but is a beautful car and could easily be brought back to life. This car will be sold as is. I ran a VIN check, and the car has a clean title, no reports of loss or accidents, checks out great. See pictures or contact me for more information.

Ian Callum says Jaguar could do new wagon after all
Wed, Apr 27 2016Just the other day we brought you a report from Automotive News Europe that indicated that Jaguar was getting out of the wagon market. Now it turns out that may not actually be the case. Following the ANE report, Jaguar design boss Ian Callum tweeted out that he had been misquoted. "I said there would be no XE Sportbrake," wrote Callum. "Nothing more!" While stopping short of spelling out what the British automaker has in the pipeline, Callum's implication (by process of elimination of other Jaguar models) is that the new XF could still breed a wagon version. The previous XF Sportbrake, which also came in XFR-S performance spec, was only the second wagon Jaguar had ever made. The first was based on the X-Type that preceded the new XE; offering a long-roof version of that new sports sedan is apparently off the table, but even with the new F-Pace crossover ostensibly filling the role, a new XF Sportbrake could yet become a reality. Of course none of that means that such a wagon would make its way to North America. But we take a great deal of stock in what Callum has to say on the subject, seeing as how he designed every one of the models in question. The X-Type Sportwagon was offered Stateside, however the XF Sportbrake never was, and in addition the F-Pace promises to be a big player for the automaker on this side of the Atlantic. Do you think Jaguar should make a wagon out of the new XF, and bring that wagon to these United States? This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Jaguar F-Pace SVR with 550 horsepower headlines 2019 F-Pace refresh
Thu, May 3 2018Jaguar has introduced the lightly refreshed F-Pace for 2019. The regular models are updated with better infotainment and interior touches, but the big deal is the SVR version with its 5.0-liter V8 engine. We already saw the F-Pace SVR at the New York Auto Show, and it will now be available as a 2019 model. The supercharged V8 engine with a variable valve active exhaust system produces a whopping 550 horsepower and a touch over 501 lb-ft, hitting 60 mph in just 4.1 seconds. The SVR's top speed is 176 mph, and it's priced from $79,990. The entire gasoline-powered F-Pace lineup gets exhaust particulate filters, even the SVR. Jaguar says the ultrafine particle trapping system is regenerated every time the driver lifts his foot off the throttle. Jaguar does say the setup is market-specific. There are also larger, 21.66-gallon fuel tanks for the 250- and 300-horsepower Ingenium I4 cars, the 380-hp V6 version and the SVR, to improve range. There's now adaptive cruise with steering assist, which operates between 0 and 112 mph, and emergency braking and lane-keeping assists are standard as well as a driver condition monitoring system and a rear camera. Safety tech has also been packaged into optional safety packs, called Park Pack, Drive Pack and Driver Assist Pack; the third of these combines the earlier two and adds adaptive cruise with steering assist. The 10-inch infotainment touchscreen is standard, and Jaguar now offers new, 14-way adjustable "slimline" sports seats as an option. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party. Ecurie Ecosse collection brings in millions
Wed, 04 Dec 2013It's rare to see an entire racing team's collection go up for auction at once, but that's just what happened this past weekend at Bonhams' new headquarters in London, where there Ecurrie Ecosse collection brought in top dollar (or pound, anyway).
The collection, whose consignment we first reported on back in September, included a smattering of Jaguars, other classic racers and an iconic transporter truck, all decked out in the same blue and white livery of the Scottish flag. After reportedly feverish bidding on Sunday, the 1952 Jaguar C-Type sold for £2,900,000 ($4.75m), the '56 short-nose D-Type for another £2,600,000 ($4.26m), and the transporter for a shocking £1,800,000 (nearly $3 million) - all to the same unnamed American collector. A 1952 Jaguar XK120 roadster went to another buyer for a record £707,000 ($1.16m).
With Ringo Star's Facel Vega selling for £337,500 ($550k) and Michael Schumacher's Benetton B194 fetching another £617,500 (just over a million), the auction total skyrocketed to £16,861,630 ($2.75m), which Bonhams described as "a roaring success". Scope out the press release below for more info.
