This is my pride and joy. I am a seasoned jaguar Enthusiast. Blk/Blk, very nice condition. 77,777 miles as of today. Daily driver, well on nice days. VERY low miles for this car. Maintained by an expert mechnic, Mobil 1 synthetic oil changes evry 5000 miles or 6 months. It runs and drives super smooth with plenty of power and crisp, unnoticeable shifts. All mechanics and electronics work as they should.I have revamped the stereo for 2012. I left the factory radio in the dash, this is NOT the kind of car you want to butcher up. I wired in ALL ALPINE component speakers, utilizing the tweeter openeings in the doors, and replacing the fake cheap ALPINE speakers that come with these cars as a $1500 option (which this car has). I used an ALPINE MRX-V60 amplifier which puts out pure digital 60x4 watts TRUE RMS and 250W to the subs. Replaced the ailing subs with 6.5" Lanzar subs. it sounds like a home stereo. Instead of wring in the wothrless OEM head unit, I have a headphone aux jack coming out of the console, ready for your iPhone or ipod, pandora, XM, walkman (lol) or whatever your heart desires. Plug it in and enjoy crisp flawless sound. I think this will maximaize any drivers enjoyment, whether you listen to Mozart, Kenny G, or Katy Perry! lol.

This car also TURNS ALL HEADS with the 22" Ruf Racing silver wheels with a Machined face. I chose them because they appear OEM, classy and sexy. The 22' gives a sporty proportion unmatched by any. I alos took this one step further. To preserve factory ride quality, I used a 255/35-22 Continental tire. No cheapies here. The tire has the same sidewall height as a 20" fitment, so you get the awesome LOOK of 22 inch wheels with the ride quality of the factory wheel. Does not rub on turns. Occasionally scrubs on high speed bumps, nothing major.

This car is phenomenal hate to see her go. i am buying a 2010 Camaro and must sacrifice my beloved GiGi.

2016 Jaguar XJR meets 1988 XJR9-LM at Silverstone

Mon, Nov 16 2015

The current Jaguar XJR is not the first Jaguar XJR. Not by a long shot. In fact there's a long and distinguished history of Jaguar production and racing models that have worn those letters over the years. So to highlight its lineage, Jaguar brought the 2016 model together with its nearly 30-year-old racing namesake to Silverstone. And it brought Andy Wallace along for the ride. Wallace won at Le Mans in 1988 driving the XJR9-LM. Designed for the race track and adorned with iconic Silk Cut livery, the XJR9 looks entirely different from the XJR luxury sedan you can buy today. And with a 7.0-liter V12 mounted amidships instead of the modern sedan's 5.0-liter supercharged V8 placed up front, they're mechanically different beasts as well. But it's not the difference in design, powertrain, or performance that Jaguar is highlighting in this video encounter. Instead, Wallace is impressed by the advancement of the lighting technology from the Le Mans racer he drove in the late 1980s to the sedan sold today. To hear him talk about how they used to use the headlights in the nighttime hours of the famously grueling endurance race is harrowing enough all on its own. Hear his story in the video above. NEW JAGUAR XJR MEETS XJR9-LM AT SILVERSTONE WITH LE MANS WINNER ANDY WALLACE AT THE WHEEL - Andy Wallace drives new Jaguar XJR and Le Mans-winning XJ-R9 LM at Silverstone - XJR9-LM – one of one million XJs now built – back on track at night for the first time since it won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1988 - Track session presents benefits of new Jaguar XJ LED headlights in day and night driving conditions - Wallace discusses new XJR headlight technology, which offers drivers more confidence, safety and performance at night - New short film captures all the action https://youtu.be/IgMxSkJb058 (Whitley, Coventry - 16 November 2015): Legendary racing driver and 24 Hours of Le Mans winner Andy Wallace relived his 1988 victory by taking to the Silverstone circuit to drive the Jaguar XJR9-LM during day and night back-to-back with the new 550PS, 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 Jaguar XJR. Wallace discusses his experiences in the XJR9-LM and the new XJR in an exciting new film available to view and share at https://youtu.be/IgMxSkJb058 Driving at night on the Silverstone circuit gave Wallace the opportunity to test the new LED headlights on the new XJ, which are a first for Jaguar. "Driving at Le Mans back in 1988, it was so hard to see at night," said Wallace.

On Location in Montenegro with Jaguar

Fri, May 6 2016

I didn't know much about Montenegro until just a few weeks ago, when Jaguar invited Autoblog to the country to test out the 2017 F-Pace. In case you missed our write-up, the vehicle is excellent. So, it turns out, is Montenegro. According to the all-knowing Wikipedia, "It has a coast on the Adriatic Sea to the southwest and is bordered by Croatia to the west, Bosnia and Herzegovina to the northwest, Serbia to the northeast, and Albania to the southeast." That's a dry way of saying that Montenegro is situated in a beautiful part of Europe, with mountains galore, glorious coastlines, and spectacular rocky cliffs that plummet into the Adriatic Sea. Getting to Montenegro is a bit difficult. There are two airports in the country, neither of which is particularly large or easily accessible. Driving can be a challenge, too; since most of the country is mountainous, there are exactly zero highways within its boundaries. There are, however, lots of winding two-lane roads with picturesque views and a ferry system to shuttle vehicles across some of the larger bodies of water. Montenegro is a great place to experience a vehicle like the Jaguar F-Pace, which offers great driving dynamics across a wide variety of road surfaces. And as you'll see in the video above, surfaces vary widely in Montenegro. If you want learn more about the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace, stick around for the second video in the playlist. Jaguar XFR-S is motor-porn on a mountain road

Tue, 04 Dec 2012

The 2014 Jaguar XFR-S might have only been good enough to take the runner-up spot in our Editor's Choice top five debuts at the LA Auto Show, but we'd be hard-pressed to find a car with a more exhilarating exhaust note. As proof of this, Jaguar released a video showing the XFR-S tearing up a windy, European mountain road in close to a minute of hardcore driving footage.
The big blue cat has the same great exhaust note of the XKR-S, and the driver puts all of the car's 550 horsepower to work demonstrating the handling - and drifting - abilities of the new XFR-S. If there's any disappointment to be had, it's the fact that you have to jump to the 30-second mark of the video for any of the action to start.
Scroll down to watch the video, and be sure your speakers are turned all the way up.
