This 98 Jaguar's design is classic and timeless, and this one is in great condition. The interior is extremely clean and in great shape, and... the car has never been smoked in. The car is stored during the winter months, so I have had a battery maintenance charger professionally installed in the trunk. Simply plug it in to a standard outlet, and never worry about a dead battery. The car has custom "Hyper-Black" wheels that get lots of compliments, and keep the car looking unique from other XJs on the road. I've used only Zaino wax products on the car, so the paint looks great. It does have the usual minor paint chips in the front bumper area from highway driving. The windows have been professionally tinted, adding to the sleek, upscale appearance of the car. There are NO mechanical issues with the car. it is extremely dependable, comfortable, and attractive.

Jaguar Land Rover may build factory in Saudi Arabia
Tue, 11 Dec 2012The Middle East is one of the fastest-growing markets for Land Rover, so it makes sense that the automaker is looking to set up shop in the region. According to Automotive News, Jaguar Land Rover is in talks with the people of Saudi Arabia to build a factory in the country at an expected initial cost of $1.2 billion. Still in the early stage of talks, the proposed facility could start up by 2017 using locally sourced materials such as steel and aluminum.
Such an arrangement could be beneficial for both entities as Saudi Arabia looks to diversify its oil-reliant economy and Land Rover could get local production capacity of around 50,000 units. The report also says that the agreement talks about the possibility for Jaguar models to be built at the same plant further down the road.
This won't be the first vehicle produced in Saudi Arabia - that honor goes to the KSU Gazal-1 - but it will be the first from a major global automaker.
Jaguar Land Rover names new manufacturing chief for EV transformation
Thu, May 3 2018LONDON — Britain's biggest carmaker Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) is replacing its director for manufacturing as it prepares its plants for an electrified future, the firm said on Thursday. JLR operates three factories in its home market but is building its first electric car, the I-PACE, in Austria. The Indian-owned automaker's Chief Executive Ralf Speth told Reuters earlier this year he is waiting for more information on trading conditions after Brexit before he decides whether to make electric cars in Britain. On Thursday, he said Executive Director for Manufacturing Wolfgang Stadler is retiring from the business, to be replaced by Director of Quality and Automotive Safety Grant McPherson starting July 1. "He will oversee the ongoing investment into our UK and global manufacturing, transforming our plants to enable Jaguar Land Rover's exciting electrified future," Speth said.
