The exterior of this Jaguar is in good overall shape. The body looks straight
and the paint is shiny and bright and looks good overall, but it
does show some dings, scratches, etc. The tires are a matching set
with good tread. There are no
cracks in the windshield, but it does show some typical road wear,
rock chips, etc. It has the typical
scratches/dings/dents/rock chips that you'd expect, that are
consistent with age and use on a 1998, but it still has an overall
nice look.

The interior of this XJ8 is in overall good shape. The leather
looks good overall, but does show some wear and blems here and
there. The carpets are in good shape overall, but do show
some wear. The headliner has been cleaned and has a good overall look
to it. The air blows cold - we ran it for over 30 minutes while
taking pictures. It doesn't appear to have been smoked in as there
is no odor of such. It has the typical light scuffs, blems, etc.
that you'd expect on a used vehicle, but it still has an overall
good look to it, and it certainly looks to have been taken care

This V8 starts right up and
idles fine and has good power and acceleration and drives straight
down the road. It has a good solid feel to it. Brakes feel good. We’ve inspected,
serviced and detailed it and it’s ready to drive wherever
you need. |

submit a deposit of $500 within 48 hours of auction
end. Remaining balance is to be paid within 7 days of the close of

For payment of balance, we accept Bank Loan checks, Wire

Delivery/Shipping |

You have two major options
for delivery. You can either have it shipped, which we can
help arrange, or you can pick up the vehicle here at our location.
We regularly pick up people at Denver International Airport (DEN)
free of charge and bring them to the lot for pickup, as long as
you fly in during our business hours. The airport is about 35
minutes from our store, and is about a $100 taxi fare.
We provide a 60 day
temporary permit for every vehicle. This is like a 2-month license
plate.
We regularly use a shipping
company called Diamond Express Transportation. We have shipped
several hundred vehicles with them without a single problem over
the last 8 years. Feel free to call Shawn or

depending on the size of the vehicle and the distance. We'd be

The Jaguar F-Type – as either a coupe or a convertible – has proved easy to fall in love with. It's one of the best looking cars in the world, period. And it has been endowed since launch with lovely engine options on either end of the range, athletic rear-drive handling, and a tuneful exhaust that sets one's heart to thumping. So how does Jaguar improve on such a winning formula? The answer that enthusiasts have hoped for is that Jag offer its sports machine with a traditional manual gearbox. And for the 2016 model year, those hopes have been fulfilled. Always wiling to take one for the team, I flew out to New York state to drive the 2016 F-Type S Coupe, fitted with the new manual transmission. (The trip included time in the F-Type R AWD that you'll hear more about later, and a long stint in the Range Rover Sport SVR, so I wasn't exactly shy about requesting the gig.) The short version is that the F and the 6MT get along like special sauce, lettuce, and cheese. But for the detailed blow-by-blow follow along. Driving Notes So, how is the manual? That's the primary force animating this review, after all. The short answers are: great, fine, just dandy. The middleweight clutch (not too light, not too firm) is easy to operate at speed or in heavy traffic. The gearlever offers positive, smooth action, not particularly mechanical, with throws that are of average length. The closest analogous experience I've had is with BMW manuals, though the Jag's clutch is slicker. But the biggest win for the stick shift in the F-Type is spiritual (if you'll excuse my being a bit romantic). This is after all the heir to the E-Type legend, a stirring rear-drive coupe (or convertible) that looks like wet sex and goes like heaving hell. The eight-speed automatic will continue to offer a more modern driving experience, but the manual just feels right with the car. You're going to have to prefer that kind of purity over outright speed to get the manual, too. Jag with sell you a hand-shaker with the base, 340-horsepower F-Type or the 380-horse F-Type S, but not with the V8 or new-for-'16 AWD variants. The supercharged V6 in the S is far from disappointing. Keep the sport exhaust active and you're likely to be the best sounding thing on the road that day, unless you run up on a coffee klatch of Ferraris.

A problem with the hydraulic brakes on the flagship XJ sedan has prompted Jaguar to issue a recall. The issue, as publicized by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration in the notice you can read below, revolves around the brake line junctions underneath the affected vehicles, which may leak fluid, thereby reducing the effectiveness of the braking system. The problem only affects an estimated 1,571 units from the 2014 and 2015 model years, manufactured between February 6 and July 23, 2014. Owners of those affected units are being notified to bring their vehicles in to their local Jaguar dealers to have the brake line junctions inspected and tightened. This issue appears to be unrelated to Jaguar's recent recall of several model lines, the XJ included, over a problem with the power steering system. RECALL Subject : Incorrect Torque of Brake Pipe Unions Report Receipt Date: NOV 19, 2014 NHTSA Campaign Number: 14V741000 Component(s): SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC Potential Number of Units Affected: 1,571 Manufacturer: Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC SUMMARY: Jaguar Land Rover North America (Jaguar) is recalling certain model year 2014-2015 Jaguar XJ vehicles manufactured February 6, 2014, to July 23, 2014. In the affected vehicles, the brake line junctions under the vehicle may leak brake fluid. CONSEQUENCE: A brake fluid leak may reduce the vehicle's braking ability, requiring additional distance to stop the vehicle, thereby increasing the risk of a crash. REMEDY: Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the brake line junctions, tightening them as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on January 16, 2015. Top Gear is, in some ways, a victim of its own success. When it declares a road the best in the world, like it did with Romania's Transfagarasan Highway during its 14th season, you can't blame people for showing up and wanting to check it out. Of course, then the road becomes clogged with tourists and is less fun to drive.
But is it possible that there is an even better driving road in Romania? One that is higher, smoother and undiscovered by tourists - at least not yet? Henry Catchpole from Evo thinks that he may have found it while driving a Jaguar F-Type V8 S that makes a sound that evokes a World War II British fighter plane.
