Only produced for three years from 1994 to 1997 this new XJ6 was the first Jaguar model combining the Jaguar creativity Ford’s money and advanced technology. The new AJ16 in line six 4.0 liter motor created for the X300 (first used on XJS) is very powerful and the smoothness is incredible. These engines are virtually indestructible, I have driven cars with more then 250K miles and it was hard to believe how well they were running.
This low miles 1997 is finished in Topaz pearl metallic with Oatmeal hides, the paint is 9.9 out of 10 shiny as it was in the show room 16 years ago. The interior is flawless, the leather is like new, the wood trims are perfects without any crack, the ski slope and the ashtray door have no crack or discoloration either. Engine is detailed and spotless, so is the boot with the CD changer. Michelin tyres are in near new condition and the alloy wheels have no curb rash. Electric seats with driver memory (3 settings), powers windows and door locking system, power sun roof and power antenna, cruise control and on board computer are all working as they should. This car was garaged in Arizona before moving to South Florida, so there is no rust and no winter damages. All books with the original pouch, keys with two remotes are present, OEM floor mats are original and in near new condition. There are no dings on the body, just one small scratch on the rear right door hardly noticeable. The A/C is better then ice cold, sun visors mirrors and lights are working fine don't have to hold them open. Drink holder is working. No lights on the dash, oil pressure and voltmeter are showing correct readings. No leaks of any kind, no smoke. This X300 is like new, it smells new, looks new and drive like new, the sticker was $ 54,400, so give me a fair bid and you will enjoy it like I am

2014 Jaguar F-Type, Project 7 Concept snarl in Jay Leno's Garage
Mon, 14 Oct 2013Jay Leno gets to drive a lot of nice cars, and the Jaguar F-Type V8 S he pilots in the latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage is no exception. Eric Johnson, vice president of Jaguar Western Region brought the car to Leno's garage, which impresses the comedian with its 5.0-liter V8 that makes 495 horsepower, 460 pound-feet of torque and a muscle car-like roar.
But there's a surprise this episode: Leno secured a drive in the Project 7 Concept at Pebble Beach this year, and the experience was caught on video. Based on the F-Type, the Project 7 is a functional concept car that nods to Jaguar's seven wins at Le Mans and features bespoke styling cues, a special exhaust system and, perhaps most importantly, 50 more horsepower from the supercharged V8.
Watch the latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage in the video below. You'll need a little over 23 minutes to see the whole thing.
Jaguar sculpture by RCA design students is a minimal beauty
Fri, 24 May 2013With its well-deserved reputation for high design, it is not particularly surprising to see Jaguar reaching outside of the automotive realm for future inspiration. To that end, the British automaker recently enlisted the talents of students at the Royal College of Art to create a piece of forward-looking, automotive-inspired sculpture.
The result of this project can be seen above; a sculpture created by RCA students Claire Miller and Ewan Gallimore, and unveiled to a small audience to kick off London's Clerkenwell Design Week. The spare and rather elegant form created by the talented pair absolutely harkens back to coupes from Jaguar's past as well as its present (read: F-Type) without aping any one model particularly.
In a press release, the artists had this to say about the work: "Our form relates to the Jaguar brand through its sculptural volumes, bespoke materials and visual lightness. These elements helped us to create a sculpture that aimed to display a seamless transition between interior and exterior space." Get a better look at the Jaguar artwork in the gallery above, or read through the press release, which follows.
