Make yourself or someone a special Christmas and New Year gift!
Start 2014 with luxury and style!

Get this 1995 Jaguar XJ 6 which gets a lot of compliments and makes powerful impressions!

This Jaguar is a head turner, gets a LOT of attention and whoever rides in it, says this is the most comfortable car they've ever been in.

WOMEN LOVE IT!

Drive it anywhere!

I have a full stack of maintenance records and repairs that were done to the car. I got most of it from the previous owner. This car was owned by a wealthy gentleman who was very liberal on maintenance and repairs. I was up keeping on maintenance too.

Car was and is always garaged. No leaks.

Engine and transmission excellent!

Body is great for it's age, no rust!

Specs & Options:

Engine 245-hp, 4.0-liter I-6 (premium)

Security system

Please understand that this is not a new car and it does have some normal wear for it's age:

  • Driver seat has wear.
  • Check engine light is on
  • SRS light is on
  • Looks like some bushing needs replacement or something like that, because it makes minor sound near the wheel when you go over the bumpy road
  • Sunroof and radio don't work, power mirrors need a new switch (cap broke on it).

None of this stuff interferes with daily operation of the vehicle and it is ready to go any distance.

Car rides very nice and smooth on highway. A lot of power!

Transmission shifts excellent. Engine works great!

Breaks work fantastic.

Glass is all good.

Tires are ok, could use replacement next year.

Heater is very hot.

I drive this car every week or whenever I go from Alabama to Atlanta. Makes 220 mile trip on less than 1/2 tank of gas. Extremely comfortable.

196,299 miles right now, will be more. Expect another 100K miles easily if you keep on maintenance.

Selling some of my cars and stuff before moving into the city. Won't have place for them.

Jaguar Land Rover rescues British off-road tuner Bowler

Wed, Dec 18 2019

Jaguar Land Rover's Special Vehicles Operation (SVO) rescued British off-road tuner Bowler from an uncertain fate. The firm has worked with Land Rover in the past, but it has always been independent. While JLR isn't in an ideal position to make acquisitions, and its recent financial troubles are well documented, Bowler was on the brink of shutting down. The small, 34-year old company had entered administration, and the 26 people it employed risked losing their jobs. Monetary details haven't been released, meaning we don't know how much Bowler was worth, but the firm pointed out it's now fully owned by SVO. It joins SV, Vehicle Personalization, and Classic as the division's fourth pillar. It's too early to tell precisely where Bowler will fit in the JLR latticework, because the initial focus will be on stabilizing the company. It will remain based in Belper, England, and every member of its full-time staff has been offered a position as a JLR employee. Bowler made a name for itself by turning the original Defender into a rally car, and Land Rover said the expertise it acquired during decades of racing is highly sought after, so that's a hint we'll see more hardcore models developed jointly by the two companies sooner or later. The new Defender would lend itself well to the Bowler treatment. The Bowler name could replace the SVX nameplate used on the stillborn, V8-powered Discovery, for example. The tuner's focus on off-pavement performance means we're unlikely to see a Bowler-badged Jaguar, but anything is possible as global demand for SUVs (especially quick ones) continues to rise. What's certain is that, once Bowler is stable, it will grow bigger.

2016 Jaguar XF mule spied in Germany

Wed, 30 Oct 2013

From our best guess, the Jaguar test mule shown in these spy shots could very well be our first glimpse at the next-generation Jaguar XF, due out around the 2016 model year. The current XF has been around for five years already (launched in 2008), and this mule is likely testing powertrain or chassis components for a new version of the midsize Jaguar sedan.
With what seems to be a stretched wheelbase and wider track, this is almost certainly not a mule for the 3 Series-fighting Jaguar XS. That being said, though, there is also the outside chance that this could be a mule for other future Jaguar Land Rover products including a production version of the Jaguar C-X17 crossover or the Jaguar-based Range Rover Grand Evoque. Only time will tell what these images truly foretell, but if nothing else, it proves that Jaguar is definitely staying busy these days.

Reliving the Jaguar XJ220 with a father-son duo

Sat, Mar 14 2015

Jaguar may have canceled the C-X75 project, but there was a time when the Leaping Cat marque did make supercars. Sure, there were the XJR-9 and XJR-15 homologation specials made by TWR, but more famous was the XJ220. Although its reign may have lasted only a year before the McLaren F1 came along, for a brief time in the early 1990s, the XJ220 was the fastest car in the world – which is even more impressive when you consider that it was only powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 when its rivals were using mostly V8s and V12s. That makes the XJ220 a rather noteworthy supercar from the dawn of the 200-mph era. The thing is, while Jaguar has come to embrace the XJ220 as an exceptional part of its history, it doesn't have the time or energy to devote to servicing the 275 that were made between 1992 and 1994. So it turns to Don Law Racing. The father-son team – made up of a master mechanic and his hot-shoe offspring – is tasked with keeping the XJ220 alive both in body and in spirit, and do so with a great deal of well-deserved pride. Drive went out to their workshop in Staffordshire to tell their story.
