This vehicle is a gorgeous survivor in great condition and with a good paint this car will turn heads anywhere in the world. With only 92960 original miles transmission shifts smoothly, engine just had the cylinder head rebuilt, new head gasket was installed and new tune up was done. Comes with dual original STROMBERG ZENITH carburetors and original air filter housing. I drive the vehicle daily, comes with newer tires, brakes are in good operating order. All the windows are in working order. If anything this car needs is a new headliner and driver seat reupholstered, also will need a good exterior paint to make it a show winner. This vehicle does not appear to have any rust or at least nothing I could see. 1973 was last year Jaguar has made this Series I and one of the best ever built Jaguar.
This vehicle comes with its original 4.2 engine that appears to have plenty of life left. This powerful engine is backed by a BORG WARNER 3 speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly. The drive train is in good operating order.
All lights are in working condition, also all gauges are in working condition excepting the clock.
All chromes are nice and shinny.
The trunk is clean and equipped with a full size spare tire also the original jack and tools.
This Jaguar comes with its original dual electric fuel pumps.
This vehicle stays straight on the road even at higher speeds, and brakes are responding accordingly with no pull.
The vehicle comes with an original factory installed A/C system that appears to have good pressures and the compressor is engaged although the blower motors are inoperable.
Own this british luxury classic as an investment or as a daily driver for the right price knowing that will need a good exterior paint.
As with all classic cars there is no warranty I can provide, but I confidently encourage potential buyer to have the car inspected prior to bidding.
I will ship the car worldwide and assist with preparation for delivery although I will not cover any expenses for the shipping.
A $ 500.00 deposit is required within 24 hours at the end of the listing and a full payment within 7 days from the end of the listing is required.

Xcar drives Jaguar C-X75, other Spectre villains of 007
Thu, Oct 29 2015James Bond returns to US theaters very soon in Spectre, and with the action-packed film wrapped, the producers are lending out the keys to some of the movie's automotive stars. We've already seen Jay Leno behind the wheel of Bond's Aston Martin DB10. Now, Xcar's Alex Goy has taken a turn in some of the flick's villainous rides from Jaguar Land Rover, including a very special Jaguar C-X75. The crew from JLR's Special Vehicle Operations team certainly did an impressive job of giving the movies baddies some appropriately nefarious rides. To challenge Bond, they turned the Land Rover Defender into a beast with chunky, off-road tires and blinding-spot lights. They also made the Range Rover Sport SVR even more diabolical than normal with a blacked-out look and LED lightbar. Of course, the king of Spectre's villain cars is the C-X75. According to Goy, most of the ones in the movie use the company's 5.0-liter, supercharged V8, but two are actually original prototypes with the hybrid setup. He gets to drive one of those special examples in this clip. While limited to some low-speed cruising, the coupe still looks wonderfully menacing on the road. Related Video:
Regulators consider adding more carmakers to Takata recall
Tue, Sep 29 2015Volkswagen's diesel emissions scandal has been getting a lot of press recently, but the Takata airbag inflator affair could be grabbing headlines again soon. According to Bloomberg, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is contemplating an expansion to the campaign that could add seven automakers to the 12 already affected. They are Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Spartan Motors, Suzuki, Tesla, Volvo Trucks, and VW Group. To be clear, there's no recall for any of these automakers, yet. The government is simply asking for a full list of vehicles that each of them have with Takata-supplied inflators containing ammonium nitrate propellant. The agency is concerned this substance could play a roll in the ruptures. "NHTSA is considering not only whether to issue an administrative order that would coordinate the remedy programs associated with the current Takata recalls, but also whether such an order should include expansion of the current recalls," the letters say. All seven can be viewed, here. From a report supplied by Takata, the government already knows that the company supplied 887,055 inflators with ammonium-nitrate propellant to VW and 184,926 of them to Tesla. In an incident during the summer, a side airbag allegedly burst in a 2015 VW Tiguan. In early September, NHTSA put out a revised report that there were 23.4 million inflators to be replaced in 19.2 million vehicles in the US. An earlier accounting from the agency had about 34 million of the parts in 30 million cars. High humidity is still believed to be among the biggest risk factors for the ruptures. Although, if ammonium nitrate also gets the blame, some already recalled models might need to be repaired again. Related Video:
2021 Jaguar F-Type is getting a major facelift
Fri, May 17 2019Having entered its seventh model year with only minor changes, it's no surprise that Jaguar is working on a more significant update of its F-Type sports car. Based on the spy photos of what is likely to be the 2021 Jaguar F-Type, it's getting a serious nose job. But interestingly, it also still appears to be closely related to the current model. Up front, the major change is in the headlight design. Instead of the vertical, swept-back units of the current car, the new one has low, horizontal lights. The lights are actually much more similar to Jaguar's more practical offerings such as the XE, XJ and F-Pace. The lights also have sharper angles that blend into cut lines and creases in the front end. The main grille doesn't look particularly different, but it will clearly be flanked by redesigned outboard grilles based on how well they're covered. The whole midsection seems to be carried over from the current model. This seems to kill the rumor that there would be a 2+2 F-Type. The tail end is pretty much the same, too, but the taillights lose the little round extensions inspired by the Jaguar E-Type. The wide-set tailpipes and big diffuser are like the V8-powered R model, so we expect that's what we're looking at. Since this F-Type looks to be mostly a styling overhaul, we expect most of the current powertrain lineup will transfer, too. That means a turbocharged four-cylinder for the entry-level models and a V8 for the top-rung cars. In the middle, though, the supercharged V6 may disappear in favor of Jaguar-Land Rover's new turbocharged inline-6. This seems plausible since Jaguar has already phased out the V6 on the XE, and the inline-6 is derived from the four-cylinder already in use, so it should fit relatively easily. Power should be right on par with the current car's 380-horsepower V6. In new Land Rovers, it makes between 355 and 396 horsepower depending on which version you get. We also assume all engines will still be coupled to an eight-speed automatic with no manual options in sight.
