This is Jaguar XJ sport. It is like the XJ8, but sport due to larger wheels and seats are sport. It has the same bells and whistles as the XJ8, but is more expensive due to the sport package. The vehicle was never owned by a smoker and there are no odors, etc. The car's interior is in great condition with minor light scratches in the leather back seats....No rips, stains, tears, loose stitching, broken / flat springs, etc. The seats are very comfortable and all of the adjustments work...the automated seats work well with NO problems. The driver's seat control unit has popped out of the seat, but pops back in easily. Please see picture.

Car is loaded with all the features expected with a high end luxury automobile. The driver's side speaker has been replaced due to the original having some distortion issues. The other speakers were checked out and are fine. All the electronics work, besides the antenna, which has been disconnected. I only listen to CDs and was going to have Sirius installed, but have not done so yet. The antenna is an easy fix, but it was a bit outdated looking, so it looks better down. The headliner in the back droops ever so slightly and could easily be fixed, I just have not done so as it is not a major sag. I did update the wheels and tires (Rims are 19 inch black and the brand is 2Crave), but will likely reinstall the originals prior to the sell. If you would like the 19 inch rims and tires, please let me know and we can make arrangements. I will have to charge some extra as these wheels are expensive, but I am willing to work something out. If you only want the originals, that can be arranged as well.

I purchased the car in Thousand , CA from Luxury Auto Sales. I have all the paperwork and receipts of the work I have had done on the car. I just had the oil changed this week and the car just passed the smog test, in which I have the paperwork.

Shipping in the responsibility of the buyer, but I will be happy to assist is making arrangements to drop the car off at a nearby shipping company, etc. The cost of shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, but I do know some reputable shipping companies that I will refer to you.

Overall, this car is in great shape and SAFE. Please feel free to have the car inspected. There are NO mechanical problems with the car and the engine is very strong. I have maintained the car well and have ALL service records. The silver paint with black interior is a beautiful combination and the tinted windows really give it a sleek and polished look. I get compliments all the time. The car is sophisticated and stately.....For a car being 1o years old, the valets still park it in the front with the other luxury cars as it still looks so good. The car's design is CLASSIC and does not age....it is the flagship of the Jaguar model during these particular production years.

Watch new Jaguar XF perform a literal high-wire act

Thu, Mar 26 2015

Coming out with a new luxury sedan can be a truly daunting prospect. Make it too edgy and you'll risk disenfranchising what can often be a rather conservative customer base. Make it too conservative and you may fail to attract enough new customers or generate enough interest to make the endeavor worthwhile. Whether Jaguar succeeded in walking that thin line with the new XF is a matter of personal taste, blending as it does elements from the smaller XE and the outgoing XF it replaces. But in launching the new model, Jaguar didn't just pull of a figurative high-wire act – it did quite a literal one. To drum up support for its newest debut, Jaguar undertook the stunt depicted in the video above, stringing a pair of carbon-fiber cables some 60 feet above the River Thames in London. With some guide wires and counterbalance weights to keep it all in check, and a motion-picture stunt crew orchestrating it all, the new XF drove over 780 feet from one bank of the river to the other, setting a new world record in the process. Instead of thinking too hard about the whys (seriously, though... why?) and hows, we suggest you just watch the video above. Related Video:

Top Gear season 25 opens with a V8 roadtrip through America

Mon, Feb 26 2018

Great news for fans of BBC Top Gear: the first episode of season 25 is here. Viewers of BBC America will catch the season opener on March 3, and for the American audience this episode is definitely suitable watching. The episode has been dedicated to V8 sportscars almost in its entirety, as it's been wrapped around a Western roadtrip with a motorsport bias. The three hosts get to choose three V8 sports cars, with the basic idea of finding the best all-rounder. Matt LeBlanc goes for a Hennessey-tuned GT350R, Rory Reid chooses a Jaguar F-Type SVR, and Chris Harris shakes up the pack by selecting a McLaren 570GT. It's a nicely varied trio, with V8 power still showing what it's good for. There are various challenges along the way, just like there should be on a Top Gear roadtrip episode – even if the road surface itself isn't always ideal. But things smoothen out, all the way to a NASCAR oval and an airport runway; the flooded Bonneville salt flats aren't suitable for shenanigans, so substitutes have to be found. The trio also hit dirt roads, and have to evade a buggy-driving Ken Block during a "moonshine run to the border." Fans of Sabine Schmitz will be pleased to find her piloting a chain car racer, which consists of two American junk cars with a Honda CRX chained in the middle. It must make sense to someone. The Star In A Reasonably Priced Car segment has been retained for this season. This time it's the British actor Rob Brydon driving the Toyota GT86, on a very wet lap around the show's Dunsfold Aerodrome track that must be a cult classic by now. All in all, the season 25 opener is exactly what it says on the tin. There's nothing out of the ordinary, but it still has excellent cinematography, V8 roar and some nice landscapes. Classic Top Gear. Cowboy duels, Sabine Schmitz chain car racing, @RobBrydon, a @kblock43 car chase and #TheStig The latest episode of #TopGear is available on @BBCiPlayer now. Outside the UK?
