Hello today I offer for sell a rare 1994 xj12, only year built on the xj40 body style. Will make a great low mile running restoration project or parts car, engine and transmission is worth more than the starting bid along not to mention the low miles. The body is solid with only minor scratches and dings as pointed out in the pictures. No signs of rust. This car will need some tires and rear shocks. Although the tread is good on the tires they are dry rotted from sitting. I found a set of rear shocks on Ebay for $84.00 with a lifetime warranty, so the shocks are pretty inexpensive I probably would do the springs as well. Also I have 2 of the 4 hubcaps for the rims that are in fair condition. There is a very good matching full size spare in the trunk. The battery cover is missing, it was like that when I purchased it from the previous owner. The front seats will need to be re-upholstered as well as the armrest.The back seats are fine with minimum wear marks. Carpet is starting to show signs of wear. The doors are all in pretty good shape, with exception of a few scratches on 2 of them. I tried to show this in the pictures. Dashpad is in good shape. Engine and transmission run good. I have tried to describe this vehicle to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take in mind that this is a 19 year old vehicle so I'm sure I have missed some things. Jaguar appoints Joe Eberhardt as North American President
Thu, 19 Dec 2013Jaguar Land Rover North America has appointed a new president, Joachim Eberhardt. The German exec, 50, had previously done stints at Chrysler Group, DaimlerChrysler UK, Mercedes-Benz USA and Daimler-Benz.
Eberhardt joins JLR NA in a good, but challenging time for the company. It's fresh off the launch of the Range Rover Sport and Jaguar F-Type, which have been subject to rave reviews, and its overall sales are up 21 percent over 2012. Still, as Automotive News points out, the two manufacturers face a fight to become the equal of A-list competitors like BMW and Mercedes in the eyes of consumers.
"Joe brings a proven industry track record and valuable global leadership experience in luxury sales, service and marketing. We look forward to Joe leading our North American team in working with our retail networks to further grow the business and better serve our customers," JLR's group sales operations director, Andy Goss, said.

Jaguar design chief Ian Callum rules out station wagons
Wed, Apr 20 2016If you liked the idea of a Jaguar wagon and were secretly hoping that the British automaker might bring one over, we have some unfortunate news for you. Not only will the company not bring any wagons to the North American market, but according to design chief Ian Callum, it won't be making any at all. "The [wagon] market is massively shrinking. I'm very sad about it but it's a very difficult market to justify," Callum told Automotive News Europe. German automakers Audi, BMW, and Mercedes can make wagons work because their home market is the largest for wagons in the world and any wagons they sell elsewhere are just chocolate icing on the Black Forest cake. For its part, Jaguar has produced two wagon models in the X-Type and the previous XF Sportbrake. That's a shame in Jaguar's case, because the XFR-S Sportbrake was a heck of a ride that left us wondering why anyone would want something taller. Those of like mind, we suppose, will just have to content themselves instead with German wagons like the Audi A6 Allroad, BMW 3 Series, Mercedes E-Class, and Volkswagen Golf SportWagen – and hope that Volvo doesn't get squeezed out of the wagon market as well.
