About The Car

I purchased this car last August. When I bought this car, I was unaware of a minor transmission leak. A few months later, the 1st gear of the transmission went. I just had the entire transmission rebuilt, which cost me a total of $2983.05. The transmission has only 200 miles on it and contains a 1 year warranty. I loved this car and I really don't want to sell it... especially after all the money I just sunk into it. I planned on keeping this car forever.

Unfortunately, I just recently lost my job and I can't afford it. It runs excellent and rides very smooth. When you're driving it, it feels like your riding on a cloud. The interior is leather and in beautiful condition (No tears, cracks, rips etc). It has power sunroof, power seats, power windows.

Features

The oil was changed every 3,000 miles or less, with fully synthetic oil.

$3,000 - Completely rebuilt transmission has only 200 miles on it and contains a 1 year warranty.

$275- Dynomat all around the car to provide optimum sound quality

$300 - Aftermarket fiberglass and mesh grille.

$350 - Aftermarket Alpine sound system in all four doors.

Aftermarket brakes and oversized rotors all around the car.

Aftermarket Jaguar wheels are powder coated black.

The entire underbody of the car was sprayed with Rhino Liner to protect the vehicle against rust and any corrosion.

Smoked taillights and corner lights

All windows are tinted black (except windshield)

I'm sure there are even more upgrades that I forgot...

Jaguar's Callum refutes two XJ bodystyle rumor

Wed, 01 May 2013

Not long ago, we relayed word from Edmunds that Jaguar was planning to split its next-generation XJ sedan into two bodystyles - one model that continued the ambitious design approach fostered with the current X351-based model, and another, more upright model to better appeal to China's conservative design sensibilities.
We expressed some cynicism in the idea, noting that such a strategy "might catch more profits for the marque, but it might also represent a setback to design head Ian Callum's vision for a thoroughly modern Jaguar portfolio." Callum has been quite insistent in his belief that Jag needs to be a forward-thinking brand in terms of design, and the two-model strategy seemed to conflict with that idea. We tried to get some comment from Callum at that time, but were unable to reach him.
As it turns out, our cynicism was well-placed. Autocar says that while the next XJ will continue to have two wheelbases, Callum has denied the two-model talk, saying flatly: "I can't see us doing two bodystyles. The cost would be enormous and the message inconsistent. You have to believe in what you produce and to do two bodystyles would undermine that."

Jaguar XJ220 leaps into Jay Leno's Garage

Mon, Feb 15 2016

Having sadly canceled the C-X75 project and sat out today's hybrid hypercar race, it would be all too easy to forget about Jaguar as a supercar manufacturer altogether. But back in the early '90s, the British automaker didn't just play in the supercar game – it dominated it. The XJ220 was, for a time, the fastest car in the world. Jay Leno pays tribute in this latest video. Originally envisioned with a V12 engine and all-wheel drive, the XJ220 ultimately surfaced with a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 driving the rear wheels alone. None of that kept it from eclipsing the top speed achieved by every supercar that came before with a terminal velocity that didn't quite reach the 220 miles per hour initially promised, but came pretty darn close. The disappointment in the change of specification lead some to dismiss the XJ220 as a failure, but it was still the fastest thing on the road until another British supercar (in the form of the McLaren F1) took its place at the pinnacle of automotive bragging rights. Two decades later, Jaguar quite nearly drove down the same road when its initial plans for the C-X75 changed from an experimental turbine powertrain to a multi-charged inline-four. Only this time the Leaping Cat marque didn't put it into production at all, save for a few prototypes and movie props – which is a bit of a shame, and then some. Watching Jay speed down memory lane in the supercar that almost never was, we're glad that Jaguar still built the XJ220, and saddened that it never followed up with another groundbreaking supercar today. Jaguar teases E-Pace crossover details - and price under $40K

Wed, Jun 21 2017

So it turns out we'll be seeing the fully revealed Jaguar E-Pace much sooner than we expected. Jaguar announced the debut will occur on July 13, so we're less than a month away. The company also provided a teaser of the E-Pace's tail. It shows a fat rear fender and Jaguar's trademark taillight design. While many other companies would be content to release a teaser and nothing else, Jaguar actually provided a number of other interesting details. Among them is the powertrain. It will only be available with gasoline-powered engines and all-wheel drive. We're expecting it to use roughly the same powertrain combinations as the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. The other big details are pricing and availability. The baby Jaguar SUV starts at $39,595, which is over $3,000 less than the entry-level F-Pace and the Range Rover Evoque. You'll also be able to bring one home from the dealer next year. Related Video: Image Credit: Jaguar Jaguar Crossover SUV Luxury jaguar e-pace
