Extremely rare manual gearbox in a Series 3 coupe is not only impossible to find but is an amazing car to drive
with a 12 cylinder engine. Almost all series 3 coupes are automatic transmissions! This maybe why we don't hear
how great the manual coupe is to drive; because you can't find any manual coupes ( particularly in good condition
). Driving this powerful V12 coupe with manual shift reminds me of a vintage Ferrari GT, or a great gran touring
car the past.
Coming out of a private collection, this car is "piece of history" well preserved in original
condition, never restored, never had rust issues but painted once for cosmetics, never wreaked or taken apart,
always garaged and maintained. The previous two owners left car show plaques dating back as far as 1984 , both
owners were enthusiast showing the car in shows. I think am 3rd owner ? For a brief period.
30,955 original miles, well maintained condition speaks for itself, engine is
excellent,'sycros'/trans./clutch shifts excellent;the car runs and drives as it should. Interior is excellent
original condition, leather is soft with nice color and just a little patina on driver's seat to give the leather
some tasteful character. Original radio, original carpeting, and head liner all excellent.
This car is honest with nothing hidden under the paint ,nor has it been detailed by professionals to
look better on the pictures. It has a great body and the undercarriage super clean almost like it came from the
factory. Because the car is an older repaint it is very honest but there is some paint checking under the rear
bumper on both sides and in a few other spots, but even so the paint was a great show quality paint job when done
years ago. Now the paint needs touched up in these spots, I didn't have it done for fear a buyer may think recent
paint work is to hide problems. I have included a can of the original touch up lacquer that will match perfectly (
lacquer blends easily ) I was quoted $300. by a painter to do the job, but I know will cost more. I almost forgot
the tires have 1600 miles on them,no dry rot. a/c will need serviced, but will be nothing to worry about..
"Cars are only original once....after people take them apart they,re just not the same."

Jaguar F Type V6 S vs Triumph Street Triple R in open-air track attack
Sun, 21 Sep 2014Typically, these track battle videos pair up car against car or, in more disparate circumstances, car versus crossover, as we saw the other day. While the outcome of that battle was quite predictable, what'll happen when an equally fetching (and fast) four-wheeler is put up against one of the icons of the two-wheeled world? Evo just had to find out.
Matching up a Jaguar F-Type V6 S Convertible against a Triumph Street Triple R is at least more of an even fight than the last battle between the Porsche Cayman GTS and Macan Turbo. The Triumph has a 675-cc engine to work with, and is very light. Meanwhile, the Jag has a thumping 380-horsepower, 3.0-liter, supercharged V6 to haul about it's considerably heftier heft. Who will come out on top?
You'll need to watch the full video to find out.

Jaguar to sell all-electric cars by 2030, and six electric Land Rovers coming in next five years
Mon, Feb 15 2021Jaguar is making a big transition to become an electric-only car company. The switchover is meant to kickoff in 2025, and by 2030, Jaguar says 100% of its vehicle sales will be of electric models. Land Rover is taking a similar route, but to a lesser extent. The British off-roading brand says that it will introduce six pure electric variants in the next five years, with eyes on 60% of its sales being of electric models by 2030. Its first all-electric model will arrive in 2024, JLR said. An Automotive News report cites CEO Thierry Bollore, saying he expects "almost zero" production of cars with internal combustion engines by 2039, making that the theoretical end date of Land Rover vehicles with ICEs. JLR, owned by India's Tata Motors, said on Monday the Jaguar brand will lead the way with a fully-electric model range built on a brand-new electric platform. The Land Rover EVs are to be built on a separate electric vehicle architecture to provide for "two clear unique personalities." The Land Rover EVs are said to be finding homes on both the Modular Longitudinal Architecture (MLA) and Electric Modular Architecture (EMA). Both support combustion engine layouts and full EV layouts, but the latter is said to be more biased toward EVs and to exclusively support "advanced electrified ICE." Both brands will be taking advantage of technology from within the Tata Group (JLR's owners) to make this transition happen. There's limited information on the future of certain models for the time being, but Jaguar did say that its previously-planned XJ replacement will no longer have a place in the brand's lineup. That said, Jaguar says the nameplate might stick around, with the assumption it could be used on an all-new future EV. Additionally, Automotive News reports that Jaguar will transition away from SUV-style vehicles, citing Bollore — the theory being that Land Rover takes over and completely fills that space in the future. We'll be wondering about what will become of the F-Pace and E-Pace. Our biggest Jaguar question concerns the F-Type, though. Will we get a fully electric version of the sports car in the future? Jaguar didn't address it, but we certainly hope so. JLR said that as it electrifies its model range, it will keep all three of its British plants open. But Bollore, who took over as chief executive in September, said the carmaker's Castle Bromwich plant in central England would focus on "non-production" activities in the long term.
